About: I’ve dog-sat since I was 7 for neighbors and grandparents, and I’ve had dogs my whole life. I truly love animals, especially dogs, with my whole heart. I’ve fostered 9‑week‑old golden retriever puppies until they were adopted. When I moved to Boise for college, one of the hardest parts was not having my dog with me every day, caring for dogs has always been a huge part of my life so I am excited to spend time with your dog! I just graduated from Boise State and work an 8am-5pm Monday-Friday job. I have plenty of time on weekends or even after work for a walk or to check in on your dog. Even if you are looking for a specific time that might not work with that schedule feel free to reach out still! I live in an apartment with a small balcony and direct access to the greenbelt, which makes on-leash walks very easy! When caring for pets in a client's home, I follow each dog's normal routine, whether that is walks, playtime, feeding, and, of course plenty of affection! About: I have experience caring for all kinds of small and big animals, including pets, farm animals, and even wild animals with conservation organizations. I love learning all the details of what constitutes the best care for each animal! I'm pretty good at basic training with dogs and puppies, and even kitties!! I give kitty and doggy massage and (reiki) energy, animals can feel our energy for sure! Sometimes I can intuitively pick up on little changes that could really help them. I'm a self-employed entrepreneur. I teach some yoga therapy clients, and have art healing sessions at different times throughout the week. These are short sessions, so I would only be away from the pet-sit house for a few hours, and planned ahead of time, but also able to be flexible as needed. I'm able to accommodate morning, midday, or evening times for all care needs. Occasionally I'm able to take a pet-sit dog on a walk with a walk client if everyone gets along, which I'm pretty good at facilitating actually, but I always ask first, and never push for it. I like to really check in with each animal and give them plenty of specialized attention. Especially at first, it takes a little time for them to build trust with a new person! I also like to keep to the routines that they expect. My cat gets treats upon waking, and before we go to bed, she likes the consistency. She likes variation in play-time and exploration, and I aim to help her build confidence in approaching new situations, she has been an amazing adventure cat and companion! I learn each pets favorite spot to chill, and when they do and don't want attention. I listen for, and learn their cues, and communication.

About: I am primarily on this app to be of service to our dog training clients when they go out of town. I am sometimes available to take other pets, but not always. I understand that each animal has their own personality and quirks. I am able to care for pets of any age. I have experience administering medications as well. I work full time at a dog training facility. I spend most of my free time taking care of animals. I am able to bring pups to work with me during the day, so I can potty and let them run around on my breaks throughout the day. I will either bring your pup to my house or go to yours! Whatever your preference is. I do have two dogs of my own, both are friendly to all different types of pets. We also have a cat, so my dogs know how to behave around them (not chasing, bothering, etc.) As I mentioned above, I work at a training facility and will be able to bring your pup to work with me instead of them being home alone during the day. I have lots of experience crate training dogs, and can help continue or start that training for you.

Karin is a gem. She has been amazing with our crazy Ellie. She also made sure she could check in on Ellie after our scheduled visits because my daughter had to stay in the hospital during her vacation. She has kept Ellie safe and happy and even put our cat inside that I left out by accident. I can't recommend her enough. She is the best!
Ashley is great! We are so glad we found her to watch our two boys. Right away upon meeting her, I could immediately tell she’s an animal lover. Our gold retriever gives a lot of kisses and leaves a lot of golden dust after which isn’t for the faint of heart. She is extremely interactive and provides lots of pets and snuggles. Ashley came to our home to check in on our pups while we were out of town. Our dogs love her! She sent pictures everyday, gave them lots of hugs and play time and made sure they had a lot of attention during her drop in. Thank you!
