I grew up on a hobby farm with chickens, ducks, sheep, and goats. I’ve been housesitting for friends and family for about 10 years now. Anything from exotic fish to peacocks! I love animals and know the anxiety travel can bring when suddenly you are leaving your fur baby with a potential stranger. I am known for catching silly moments on camera and sending them off to parents throughout my stay! How my pricing works Walks- if you have a small breed that just needs a poop loop go ahead and book a drop in. If you have a medium or large active breed that NEEDS physical stimulation please book a walk. I will run with dogs if needed and I will transport them to dog parks if you prefer that. I do off leash trail hikes in the spring/summer/Fall when weather and air quality permit. If you are training your pup either basic or advanced and you would like me to run drills on our walks or reinforce your training we can do our meet and greet on a walk. If you are doing advanced non verbal or hunting/flushing training I am happy to do off leash trails that are dog friendly and reinforce that training as well. Housesitting I stay at your house and follow your routine to the best of my ability. This includes 2 walks per day and 2 feedings per day. If there is a dog park that you like to take your pup to I am happy to transport! I can give meds both oral and injections. If you have an animal with special needs outside of this I will set extra time out for our meet and greet so that you can show/teach me what you need done.

Safety, trust & environment
I can do overnights if your pet becomes anxious when alone. I can do as many walks as you need. I have even prepared raw food for some of my clients. I am also happy to help with brushing or bathing.

I’ve been on a journey to find someone my special needs cat will do well with if I need to go out of town. My cat will hide, stop eating and generally shut down in the past with strangers, but not so with Brooke. He thrived with her, ate every day, took his medicine and even started cuddling her by day two. I think she brings in a very calm and patient energy which helped my cat feel safe and gain trust.

Schedule
I’m pretty flexible these days as I am a full time student! I have done overnights and fly by’s depending on what my clients have needed. I am also happy to take dogs to their favorite parks for play time or if they like to hike and are well behaved I am happy to take them on my hikes!
