About: I am primarily on this app to be of service to our dog training clients when they go out of town. I am sometimes available to take other pets, but not always. I understand that each animal has their own personality and quirks. I am able to care for pets of any age. I have experience administering medications as well. I work full time at a dog training facility. I spend most of my free time taking care of animals. I am able to bring pups to work with me during the day, so I can potty and let them run around on my breaks throughout the day. I will either bring your pup to my house or go to yours! Whatever your preference is. I do have two dogs of my own, both are friendly to all different types of pets. We also have a cat, so my dogs know how to behave around them (not chasing, bothering, etc.) As I mentioned above, I work at a training facility and will be able to bring your pup to work with me instead of them being home alone during the day. I have lots of experience crate training dogs, and can help continue or start that training for you.
“Kristina was awesome. She communicated well, brought in packages while we were away, and did a great job taking care of our 5 kitties. We will definitely book with her again!”

About: Hello! My name is Olivia. I have been caring for dogs and cats for friends, family, and referrals since I was in high school. I truly enjoy spending time with animals and will always treat every pet as if they were my own. I have experience caring for pets of all ages, including senior dogs and cats, and I am comfortable administering medications when needed. I understand that every pet has unique needs, and I'm happy to follow their routines to help them feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you're away. I love being active and enjoy going on walks, so I'd be thrilled to have a furry companion join me! Although I can't have a pet of my own right now, I previously had two wonderful cats and a dog who were a huge part of my life. Spending time with animals brings me so much joy, and caring for them is something I genuinely love. Whether you're looking for dog walks, drop-in visits, overnight stays, or care while you're out of town, I'd love the opportunity to care for your pets and give you peace of mind knowing they're in loving, dependable hands. I also work flexible jobs, which allows me to accommodate a variety of schedules. I also have a form of reliable transportation that allows me even more flexibility. I don't currently have pets of my own, but I can assure you that your pet's safety, comfort, and happiness are my top priorities. I provide safe, reliable care by following your pet's usual routine, giving them plenty of attention, and keeping a close eye on them to ensure they stay safe, secure, and out of trouble. I'll care for your pet with the same love and attentiveness I would give my own.
“Alyssa and Natisha were absolutely wonderful. They sent daily updates with pics and my pup looked so happy. They had great communication the whole time and I never worried about my boy for a minute. Highly recommended!!”
“Jill and Teri were great with our cat! They followed all of our instructions and provided detailed reports and lots of cute pictures of our cat at every drop in! They figured out activities our cat liked and made sure to do them with him when they visited and it was very clear that he loved seeing and interacting with them. We came home to a very happy and un-stressed cat which was great. They were very responsive and great at clearly communicating with us throughout the whole process which we really appreciated!”

“Emma was an incredible cat sitter! She was very attentive to detail, reaching out with any clarification questions to ensure my cats felt safe and loved while I was not there. She even went an extra mile and also helped with making sure my plants did not die by watering them for me! I also truly appreciated the detailed daily updates with pictures and a snippet of how my cats were doing! I highly recommend her, and will definitely book Emma again in the future!!”

Currently, I dog and cat sit regularly for a few families. My friends and family would describe me as kind, passionate, caring, level-headed, reliable, and loving. About: I’ve been pet sitting for friends and family for over 10 years. I’ve taken care of dogs, cats, parrots, fish, and even ducks. I care for each animal as if it were my own, and prioritize not only their physical health but also their emotional! Animals are deeply emotional and are affected when their parents go away, so I promise to provide excellent care of your fur babies. Rest assured you have a reliable and loving person that you can trust. I work full time during the week, but that doesn’t stop me from taking excellent care of your pets. They will be seen at a minimum of 3 times per day, if not more. I like to see them before work, during lunch, and when I get off. I prefer to stay overnight to make sure they’re okay. If they need more attention, I can certainly accommodate! My job has the flexibility of letting me work from home if needed. We prefer to let Koda free roam around the house. We don’t have a fenced in backyard but are always taking her out on the leash. She is lower energy for a Doodle and easily bored, so we make sure to give her toys and treats! She loves watching kids movies too so we make sure to have those on while we’re not home. Whether your pup is at my house or yours, they will go out at a minimum of 3 times daily. If they need to be crated or separated from my Koda, we can make that happen too! I will adjust anything in my schedule or routine to accommodate your fur baby. ❤️ We allow dogs on the couch and bed because we love snuggling!
“Brianna was great! We needed help with our 2 dogs last minute. She made time to come meet us & our dogs and it was obvious she is comfortable with dogs - they all were great together.”

About: I love animals! I'm not a "dog person" or a "cat person" I love them all, big or small! Does your cat need some company? Is your dog wound up with pent up energy because you have to work all day? Perhaps you have a puppy who needs to get out and play. I can help! We can play with toys, play fetch, have a puppy play date, or go for a nice walk while you're gone! I love to be outside, and your dog will love the fresh air, the exercise and all the smells we will encounter. I'm available during the day while you're at work and your dog(s) or cat(s) are bored at home. I currently have a completely open schedule and would love to fill it with animals! Of course, I love my own fur babies, but I'd like to extend that love to YOUR fur babies as well! In your home, we'll play with toys, play fetch, have fun, or just have lots of cuddles if that's what they prefer. Every dog is different and I'll be there to provide them with the kind of attention they deserve!
About: I'm a softy for animals in general, especially dogs! I have a 9.5 yr old boxer that is getting old but gets along with any dog. I have dogsat my buddies 2 boxers multiple times, up to 6 weeks at a time. 3 boxers is a handful. Apollo is my 3rd dog and I have watched other friends dogs many times also. I have also looked after cats and birds on occasion. I'm not a trainer but I've trained my own dogs. I currently have some free time, so I'm available most times pretty quickly. I do some work online, but take my dog for a walk twice a day. Depending on the type and size of dog I would consider watching them at my house. My boxer is getting older and losing his eyesight so I have to be cautious of his health at times. I can be available between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. 7 days a week I have a fenced yard. There's a doggy door from the house to the fenced backyard that they can come and go to potty or just play. My boxer loves doggy friends and sharing his treats. Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Meridian
Five stars for Jamie! She did fantastic drop-in visits for Chewy, providing walks, feeding, and consistent updates. The photos she sent made it clear that Chewy trusted her and was in great hands. She was also highly professional and accommodating when my schedule changed. I will absolutely be using her again and recommend her to anyone in need of a reliable, caring dog sitter! Thank you so much!

Ava was very kind, responsible, and communicative. She took great care of my pets and was especially helpful when one of my dogs wasn’t feeling well. She cleaned everything up, kept me updated, and followed my instructions carefully. I really appreciate her help.
Casey was great with our elderly little guy. She took great care of him. She was able to do drop-in visits for us twice a day to give medicine & food. She took him out for walks and sent us lots of pictures. It was great to see some pics of him each day and to get updates. I felt comfortable with her coming into our home and checking on our dog. We will be using Casey again!

Knowing that Sharene was taking care of my dogs gave me so much peace of mind while away on vacation. Her updates were great and she even did a few extra things for me around the house which I appreciated. Highly recommend and I will be rebooking with her in the future for sure!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
