About: I’ve had dogs in my life for as long as I can remember, and I’ve been lucky enough to grow up with 3️⃣ of my own! One of my dogs was my best friend for 16 years, so I also have firsthand experience caring for a senior pup and understanding the extra patience, attention, and care they can need. 💆♀️ I’m the person who will absolutely stop what I’m doing to say hi to a dog walking by. 😂 At my other job, I get to see dogs throughout the day, and it’s genuinely one of my favorite parts of working there! I love getting to know each dog’s personality, whether they’re energetic and ready to play 🎾 or would rather spend the afternoon getting spoiled with cuddles 💤 . I’ll give your pup plenty of attention, playtime, walks, and love while you’re away, and I’ll make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for just like you already do. 🐾🐶🩷 I work full-time, but my schedule leaves me with a lot of time to dedicate to pups outside of work. I’m usually completely free on Sundays and Mondays, and most weekdays I’m home by 3 PM (sometimes as early as noon!). I love having something to look forward to after work, whether that’s a walk around the neighborhood, some playtime, or simply giving a pup some extra attention. My schedule allows me to be flexible, and I’m always happy to work around your dog’s normal walking routine rather than expecting them to fit into mine. 🐾 I’m mainly here to help with dog walks, and I really enjoy getting outside and having a pup tag along! I’ll make sure their walks fit their energy level and personality, whether they want to run around and explore or take a slower walk and sniff everything along the way. I’m also happy to follow any routines or preferences you already have for your dog. I’m also totally down to do quick drop-ins if your pup just needs someone to stop by, let them out, give them some food or water, or spend a little time with them. I’m not looking to do long house-sitting visits, but I’m happy to make sure your pup is safe, happy, and taken care of while you’re gone! 🐾💕
“Bailey is so good with my little dog. The 2nd time she came over, Fuji saw her coming to the door and wagged her tail like crazy! Bailey has the energy to give Fuji a workout like we as seniors sometimes don't have. We are very glad to have found Bailey!”

“Arianna and Trevor have watched our kitty girl several times over the last year. Every instance that we’ve employed their services over that period, these two have been nothing but thorough, compassionate and caring for our animal. They have consistently proven themselves as the utmost competent pet sitters that this app has to offer. I cannot recommend them enough. Rover needs a ‘Hall of Fame’ for these two.”

“Kristina did an exceptional job! She was on time and reliable. She did everything we asked her to do and even cleaned the ball and thrower! We will definitely use her again!”

“She is absolutely amazing! She went above and beyond for our two cats and sent at least three photos with every visit. Great communication, and very caring with our special needs animals.”

About: I've always loved animals since I was a child and grew up with dogs cats and quite a few others. I've been taking care of neighbor's pets and family members' pets for years. Sadly, my sweet senior boy passed away a few months ago and I am happy to help watch your pet and get all the snuggles and time that I can with them while you're away! I work full time Monday-Friday but I can reliably come by for morning and evening care. Weekends are usually open and I have my own transportation. Drop-in care is preferred so I can meet your pet where they are most comfortable while you are away and they our out of their normal routine.
“Kendra took great care of our Cavalier King Charles, Liberty, for the week of Thanksgiving. She came three times a day to feed, walk and love on Liberty. She was very communicative and so easy to get a hold of and updated me every visit. Liberty is very shy and by the second check-in she was wagging her tail and greeting Kendra at the door. We felt so relieved that our girl was in good hands. We will be using Kendra again. She really loves your pets and will make sure they are well taken care of and loved. Thank you Kendra! :)”

About: I have tended to dogs and cats for many years. Spending time with a new four legged friend is an honor and a privilege. Looking forward to treating your pet or fur baby like my own. I am available week nights to do walk pets/fur babies. I am also available on Saturdays to tend to the needs of your furry family members. I will establish trust with animals in your homes. I will check on their food and water as needed. I will also provide adequate exercise through walks and play time.

“absolutely fantastic! she was always on time and never failed to send updates (especially funny pictures of the babies)! 10/10 will definitely use her every single time we leave town and have to leave the pups at home”

About: I don’t own a cat but I do enjoy them. Whether your cat drinks out of a glass or the tap, is finicky or is a lap cat, I’ll make sure they get the human attention the way they like it. Whether your dog does better in my home environment or yours, I’ve got you covered. For dogs and cats who prefer a human, I bring this love and affection to your home while you are away. Potty break to smell the roses? Brisk walk to get your dog's yayas out? I will make sure your dogs are happy and well exercised. Oh no.. it’s the middle of the day and Pixie needs to go for a potty break! Just give me a call, I got it covered no problem. We are also owners of 3 chickens, Megan, Thelma & Louise 😍 I’m retired and would to help you out in your time of need. I have plenty of time to love and care for your sweet fur baby. Below are our general time frames for our services: Doggie Boarding - 24 hour period - pick up time by 8pm Doggie Daycare - 8 to 9 hour period - pick up time by 8pm Walks - 30 min to 1 hour Pup Visits - 30 minutes Home Stays - customized to your needs Your pet will always be within my eye sight. “Thank you, Sarah, for taking care of Dyson so well! With my extended time away from home, the daily updates and peace of mind that he was well taken care, was really comforting. The love and attention he received was great and of course, when I returned home, he let me know that he was not happy I left him for so long :-). Thank you, your service is second to none!!”

About: I am primarily on this app to be of service to our dog training clients when they go out of town. I am sometimes available to take other pets, but not always. I understand that each animal has their own personality and quirks. I am able to care for pets of any age. I have experience administering medications as well. I work full time at a dog training facility. I spend most of my free time taking care of animals. I am able to bring pups to work with me during the day, so I can potty and let them run around on my breaks throughout the day. I will either bring your pup to my house or go to yours! Whatever your preference is. I do have two dogs of my own, both are friendly to all different types of pets. We also have a cat, so my dogs know how to behave around them (not chasing, bothering, etc.) As I mentioned above, I work at a training facility and will be able to bring your pup to work with me instead of them being home alone during the day. I have lots of experience crate training dogs, and can help continue or start that training for you.

“Staci did a great job checking in on my cat during our 4 days away. When we had our first meet-and-greet, she suggested having an alternate method of entry to our home in case the garage code didn't work. That was something I wasn't thinking about at all. She sent pictures at each visit and when we returned home our cat clearly hadn't missed a meal and was well taken care of. Very happy with Staci's services and will ask her to cat-sit again when we next go out of town. Thank you!”

A happy puppy! Hannah is someone I trust with my absolute heart. When I come home, my puppy is happy and content. I can tell she’s had a good time. Hannah is reliable, easy to work with, and friendly. She will also take the best dog portraits ever! I highly suggest you book with her now!

Katelyn has gone above and beyond with looking after our animals. During the most recent, our dog had chipped a nail and was bleeding over our floor. Katelyn cleaned up the blood and wrapped our dog’s paws to prevent further bleeding until we got home. She kept us in the loop the whole time. We really appreciate her consistent communication and her obvious care for our dogs!

I appreciate Ava so much! I’m a military spouse with my husband currently deployed, and I was in a pinch to find someone to let my bloodhound puppy (almost a year old- but large and high energy) out and to spend some time with her so I can actually get out and be social for a day. She came over and clearly the babies loved her and were super happy! ❤️ Thanks Ava!! I’ll be requesting her again in the future!

We had a great experience! She took wonderful care of our dog, followed all of our instructions exactly, and kept us updated with photos and messages throughout each visit, which gave us a lot of peace of mind while we were away. She also spent time hanging out with our dog instead of just stopping by to feed and leave, and that meant a lot to us. On top of that, she was willing to help us on very short notice after our original plans fell through, and we really appreciated her flexibility. We would absolutely book with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, caring, and communicative Rover sitter!

Five stars for Jamie! She did fantastic drop-in visits for Chewy, providing walks, feeding, and consistent updates. The photos she sent made it clear that Chewy trusted her and was in great hands. She was also highly professional and accommodating when my schedule changed. I will absolutely be using her again and recommend her to anyone in need of a reliable, caring dog sitter! Thank you so much!

Casey was great with our elderly little guy. She took great care of him. She was able to do drop-in visits for us twice a day to give medicine & food. She took him out for walks and sent us lots of pictures. It was great to see some pics of him each day and to get updates. I felt comfortable with her coming into our home and checking on our dog. We will be using Casey again!

Knowing that Sharene was taking care of my dogs gave me so much peace of mind while away on vacation. Her updates were great and she even did a few extra things for me around the house which I appreciated. Highly recommend and I will be rebooking with her in the future for sure!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
To find sitters in Meridian with recurring or weekly availability, select "Repeat Weekly" and which days you’d like them to care for your pet.
