About: I've been a professional Dog walker since I was 18 years old, almost 20 years ago. For the past several years I have specialized in dogs that have aggression or behavioral issues. I have done house sitting, boarding and overnight at my clients houses. I looked after, Dogs, Cats, even Lizards and Fish for people on vacation. I look forward to walking your dog or helping with your animals while you enjoy a vacation. I plan on walking your dog for at least 40 minutes, not including pick up time. I start my picks every morning around 11am. Monday through Friday. I can walk weekends on special occasions. I will visit for house sitting up to 3 times per day. I limit my dogs walks to 6 dogs or less. I prefore Medium sized dogs and up, but i'm open the smaller dogs on a client by client basis. I will the dog solo to or 3 times before introducing him into the group. I want him to get used to me and see how he behaves at the dark park.

Candace did an excellent job caring for our two cats while we were on an extended vacation. She left good updates with photos and the cats seemed very comfortable around her. I would use Candace again and recommend her to other pet owners looking for a reliable and quality sitter. Thank you.

Elisa took care of my 2 old cats multiple days. She followed the instructions I left and went beyond that with extra effort. She reported through Rover each day she visited and included pictures. My cats seemed very happy with her and even let her pet them! I will definitely request Elise if we travel again.

Annemarie did an amazing job looking after Cricket. Cricket historically has not warmed up to Pet Sitters, however Annemarie is now Cricket's new best friend. Setting in her lap, receiving brushings and wanting to play, this we have never seen before. We highly recommend Annemarie for your pets as she is compassionate and great communicator. We got pictures and updates daily while in Europe. Hard to believe the change in Cricket, this is a first!

About: Reliable, Loving Dog Care—Like Family 🤍 Hi there! I’ve been around dogs my entire life—growing up in a family that always had them, I naturally became the go-to person for feeding, walking, bathing, and making sure they were happy and well cared for. I’m very comfortable with dogs of different personalities and energy levels, and I genuinely enjoy spending time with them—not just “watching” them, but interacting, playing, and making sure they feel safe and loved while you’re away. I also have a 6-year-old daughter who absolutely adores animals and wants to be a veterinarian someday. She loves helping give extra attention, playtime, and affection (always supervised, of course!), which means your pup will get lots of love and engagement. I take routines and instructions seriously and want your pet to feel as comfortable as possible. You can expect regular updates, photos, and clear communication so you always know how your pet is doing. 🐾🤍 I’d love the opportunity to care for your dog! They will be treated like part of our family, with lots of attention, playtime, and care you can feel confident about. 🥰 I currently am working from home, so my schedule is open as my job allows me to have a lot of flexibility. So even though I do work during the week, I will be able to walk, feed, and play with the dog anytime. My availability is during the week and weekend, any time. I live in a clean, quiet 2-bedroom townhome that provides a safe and comfortable environment for pets. While I don’t have a fenced yard, I make sure dogs get plenty of exercise through regular walks and outdoor breaks throughout the day. My community also has 2 dog parks built in, pups love it there! 🐾 Pets are never left unattended for long periods, and I prioritize creating a calm, structured routine so they feel secure and at home. Walks are always done on leash, and I’m very attentive to each dog’s individual needs, energy level, and comfort. My home is kept tidy and pet-safe, with a cozy space for rest and relaxation. I also follow all care instructions closely to ensure your pet’s routine is maintained exactly how you prefer. I understand how important trust is when leaving your pet with someone, and I take that responsibility seriously. You can expect clear communication, frequent updates, and photos so you always know how your pet is doing.

About: I've helped out with family pets for as long as I can remember! I have a pup who just turned 15 so I understand just how much our older friends need love too. I'm currently coasting at home for a bit before starting up college, so I have fully open availability when it comes to weekends and weekdays. I'm looking for ways to fill my time and would love a furry friend to spend it with! starting up college in the fall but have fully open availability until September, with enough advanced notice (a week) I can make any time work! I offer pet sitting and dog walking services. I am fully flexible when it comes to doing daily check ins, overnight sitting, and keeping the pet entertained in addition to making sure its needs are taken care of. For walking purposes I'm fine to work with whatever pace the dog needs, whether that be a jog or a quick sniff break. I'm along for the ride and open to any special requests. Whatever you need, I'm here for it :)

About: I have had pets pretty much my whole life. Mostly dogs and a few cats. I just lost my best friend in the start of November 2023. This has been the absolute hardest part of my life so far. She was my best friend for over 12.5 years. I enjoy the company of animals and would love to shower your fur baby(s) with love and affection. I do have a little bit of experience with training. (not professionally) I trained my belated boxer (Allie) how to sit, shake, lay down, come, stay and have been working with a clients dog when we go on walks or a sitting. I have also learned how to give insulin shots if needed for their care. 🥰 I also treat this job as “house sitting” if you need your mail/packages brought in, trash out to the curb and brought in, water plants, etc. With the loss of my best friend, your fur baby will have all of my attention/love. 🥰❤️ It will also be good for me to be around other fur babies. Win-win 🥰❤️‍🩹 I will hardly leave your fur babies alone so you have peace of mind that someone will be there for them. I will care for them like they are my own. I have made this into my full time job and I take it very seriously.

Holley was very pleasant. She was the only one willing to take a last minute appointment and was actually very easy to work with. My shy cat, though typically hid under the bed, was starting to open up to her on the last day. Otherwise, the house was in great condition when I returned!

We were so lucky to have found Germaine while she has availability. I was nervous to leave my golden retriever, Daisy, with someone I didn’t know since she is my whole world. Germaine was so good with Daisy from the get go and it immediately but all my worries to rest. Germaine is kind, friendly, always on time, consistent, and will write great notes and send photos of the visit which I love to read/see while I’m at work. Most importantly, Daisy absolutely loves her. It’s honestly the best situation, I have no worries since I know she is well cared for while I’m at work. 10/10 would recommend.

A pet sitter can provide focused care sessions, help your pet’s routine stay on track, or keep you updated on your pet’s mood and energy levels.

Whether you’re at the office for the day or traveling for a few nights, a pet sitter can offer potty breaks during a Eagle stroll, cleaning the litter box, or making sure your pet has on-time food or water refills. For daytime services like walking and drop-ins, you can also request sitters to send a report card with every visit.

Tip: You can discuss your specific arrangements with a pet sitter on Rover to what fits you, your pet, and your sitter’s needs. To find what their special skills are, look at the "Skills" and "Pet care experience" sections on their profile.

Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Eagle choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.

To find sitters in Eagle with recurring or weekly availability, select "Repeat Weekly" and which days you’d like them to care for your pet.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Eagle. On Rover:

  • 89% of sitters can help with special care needs
  • 97% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 96% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
