“Phedre has been amazing with our dog Millie. She’s done some drop in visits for us and watched her for the day currently and I feel so at peace knowing my dogs being taken care of so amazingly. We will absolutely be useing her again”

“Elise was great with our dog and clearly knew how to handle dogs. She walked him before briging him inside which is a good way to help a dog connect with someone new. She sent photos throughout the day of our dog relaxing at her house and hanging with other dogs. We'll definitely reach out again when we need help with our dog!”

About: I am my neighborhood dog caretaker whenever needed, but I'd love to have a daily dog presence in the house. I am used to senior dogs who need regular potty breaks, active dogs who like to play, dogs who sleep on my feet while I'm working and I enjoy them all. I work at home full-time and would love to take care of a dog during the day. I've rescued senior Puggles for about 10 years, but I currently don't have any dogs. I miss them! Your dog would have access to the back yard at any time. I can walk your dog once a day, twice if the weather is nice. I will play with them, snuggle them, whatever they need. I have 2 dog beds in my office, but if they prefer their own, that's ok too. I have a fenced yard that's pretty large. It backs up to a common area in my neighborhood. I also have 2 cats, 1 who loves dogs and will want to be friends, and another who actively ignores them.
“Amy was the best! Not only did she take such great care of my dog, she also went above and beyond to allow me to drop off a little early and pick up a little late. 10/10 experience with her!!”

“Lolly enjoyed staying at Maria’s house. She seemed to adjust fairly quickly to the new environment especially the fenced in backyard. Lolly liked being close to Maria while she worked, which is a sign that Lolly feels very comfortable. When we picked Lolly up I sensed she would have liked to stay longer. We will definitely seek Maria’s services in the future.”

About: I have been part of Rover for about 4 years and prior to that we welcomed pups of friends and families into our home. I took a hiatus for a bit after becoming a Mom but now back in action and our toddler LOVES having furry visitors over. I work from home full time which means a decent amount of flexibility in my schedule. For home stays your pal will always have company. We like to go for short and long walks depending on the weather and how much time we have but always make sure to get outside. For people wanting walks or drop ins, most times can be accommodated but may need some flexibility. We have a fully fenced backyard that has low risk for any escape artists (they'd have to be quite determined and find something we don't know about). However, I'll always check with you to make sure they're good outside on their own. Otherwise, I typically will stay outside with them just to be sure. Walks are always leashed and we only feed what is provided.
“Amber is very sweet and clearly a dog lover! She has a beautiful home and backyard big enough for her and your pup to run around in! She was accommodating with our schedule and communicated well throughout the day to let us know how our pup was doing.”

“Concetta is great, she very nice and sweet with my pup. I book a last minute care with her and she accommodate us. She adjusted her schedule to care for my pup. She very reliable, I will definitely be booking her again in the future. Thank you!”

“Megan was amazing! I felt comfortable, like my dog was safe and in good hands. She made sure to send me pictures and keep me updated throughout the day which I appreciated!”

“Dylhan was absolutely WONDERFUL to work with. She cared for my babies like they were her own (and her little puppers are so cute and happy!). This was the first time one of my dogs was away from me and he had a great time until the very end while I got to meet the puppies and talk more with Dylhan. He wanted to keep playing! My anxious dog who has had experience away did great as well. Dyhlan made him comfortable and sent me updates with pictures and videos and cared for him when his anxiety made him nauseous. Absolutely can't recommend them enough and very thankful for their help with caring for my babies!”

“Debi was awesome! We were in town for about 10 days and we wanted to find a good place where our dog, Cooper/Collie-Mix, could go play with other dogs and have some space to run outside (since I was having to work in a hotel room). Debi was totally flexible and empathetic to our situation. She normally only takes small dogs, so this was already a favor to us. She has an entire room dedicated to dog play & filled with all types of toys! Cooper had a blast with his new friends and all the fabulous toys, he was in absolute doggy heaven. The pictures she sent made us feel at ease that we made the right choice! He was tuckered out in the evenings, so we knew he had a great day if exercise & fun! We will definitely call on Debi again when we're back in town. Virtual hug Debi!! Dawn & Mike of Mr. Coops”
