About: Hi! I’m Hazel, a senior in high school preparing to head to college. My mom is Patricia and she and I and family team to provide pet services, but I am the main person. I’ve grown up surrounded by animals my entire life, so caring for them comes naturally to me. I’ve had experience with all kinds of animals, including ducks, chicks, kittens, goats, pigs, and of course dogs. Right now, I have two dogs, Comanche and Chalko, who I’ve raised since they were puppies, as well as a kitten I helped bottle-feed after it was found at a very young age. Taking care of them has taught me patience, responsibility, and how to understand each animal’s unique personality and needs. I truly love animals and treat every pet like they’re my own. Whether your pet needs a fun, energetic walk, lots of attention and playtime, or just someone to make them feel safe and loved while you’re away, I’m here to help. You can trust that your pet will be in caring, reliable hands with me! I am at work from 8-4 generally, but have flexibility, and available outside of those hours. My daughters have other availability during the day around class schedules. I am home and available all day on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays and most holidays. I am home all day for full weeks during Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years, and Spring Break. I am home during summer months. I take dogs who are kennel trained and do not allow pets on furniture. I match my care to your loved companion's individual needs. Some dogs love being outside and running around, some love to lay on a dog bed by the fire. I understand some pets are older and need a gentle approach and others are high energy and need lots of movement and interaction. I take careful care that your pet is secured and not able to leave the property. I have a huge fenced yard and a field with ample space which allows your pet to in pet heaven! Its a fun time!

This helps ensure the safety of our home, children, and other animals in our care. ** Please don't ghost sitters when reaching out; just be honest. I work remotely from home, so I'm around most days and hours. Aside from outings for my kids (who absolutely love animals!) and the occasional errand, I'm usually home and available. This makes it easy for me to be flexible and responsive whenever needed. My home is pet-friendly and equipped with a fenced-in backyard, along with doggy doors for easy outdoor access—though they can be closed off if needed. I've grown up with pets and we've had a few dogs of our own, so I'm very comfortable around animals. I understand that fur gets everywhere and accidents can happen—it's all part of the experience! I like long walks just as much if not more than your pet.

About: Four years in veterinary medicine, fear free handling trained and certified, pet CPR certified, and a passion for exceptional pet care and meeting new animal friends. I grew up taking care of all creatures great and small including dogs, cats, horses, cows, goats, ferrets, snakes, and so much more and just retired from the role of surgical, doctor-specific technician with a a board-certified veterinary surgeon. I’m currently working part-time, so I will have lots of time available to meet, go on walkies with, and care for many new furry friends of all shapes and sizes. I have three dogs of my own and one very chill kitty who would love to make friends and play with your puppy dog. I also have a fenced backyard with lots of enrichment and plenty of space for a crate if need be and will provide daily pictures and updates on all of our adventures.

“I will start by saying i have been a rover sitter myself for YEARS and i am very picky about who my dogs watch. Rich and his family were wonderful with my crazy boy, who was very happy when i.picked him up (a tell-tell sign he had a great time!). I was only visiting in their state and when my schedule did a flip flop Rich was so flexible and understanding it took a lot of stress off of me. Being a sitter myself I know dogs act different with different people, and Rich gave me some feedback of how Lyric was for him (like that he jumps 4' fences. He normally only jumps if we tell him or if he is trying to get to me) - and Rich amd the family handled it well. I would be more than willing to reccomend people to Rich and his family, amd when we are here visiting our family i know there is a good trusting sitter for my boy if needed.”

Pricing information: For Boise specifically, most sitters seem to fall into these ranges: * Budget/new sitter: $25–$35/night * Average experienced sitter: $40–$55/night * Very experienced/medical care or constant supervision: $60–$90+/night Since you work in vet med and have shelter/medical experience, if you were pet sitting at your house, you could likely charge on the higher end—especially if you’re comfortable with meds, seniors, post-op care, injections, etc. A vet-tech level sitter in Boise could reasonably start around $50–$75/night per dog. Availability & Schedule 🐾 I work Sunday–Wednesday, but your pet will still receive plenty of love, attention, and care! I have Thursday, Friday, and Saturday fully off, allowing for lots of one-on-one time, walks, playtime, and cuddles. To make sure pets always have companionship and supervision, my sister is home 100% of the time as a stay-at-home animal lover with pet-sitting experience. Between the two of us, your pet will have consistent care, attention, potty breaks, and lots of love throughout the day. Our Home Environment 🐾 We strive to provide a fun, loving, and safe home-away-from-home experience for every pet in our care! Our home has a large, fully fenced backyard with plenty of space to run, sniff, explore, and play safely. We also have three smaller, friendly dogs who love making new friends (while always respecting each pet’s comfort level and personality). Whether your pup enjoys playing, cuddling, or relaxing, we make sure they feel comfortable and included. There are plenty of cozy dog beds, toys, treats, and attention to go around! We treat every pet like family and do our best to keep their routine as comfortable and stress-free as possible while you’re away.
