About: Ive taken care of all types of animals from dogs of all shapes and sizes to cats to horses. I love to care for others, especially animals now that I'm retired from caring for people. As a retiree, I have plenty of time on my hands that needs to be occupied. What better way to fill that time than caring for animals and helping owners. About: I have been taking care of family/friend pets through the entirety of high school and afterwards. I have worked with a positive feedback trainer with my dog and have been able to apply those teachings to other behaviors in animals. I also know how to handle medications for dogs, from pills, intestine liquids, and topical creams. I absolutely adore big dogs and will totally let them be lap dogs. I love little dogs, even if they try to be ferocious creatures. I work a part-time job and am focusing most of my free time to medical concerns. I traditionally work in the early morning, 6-12. This leaves my afternoons free for the pets, but I can figure out how to care for them in the morning if necessary. Beyond that, I want to maintain active with the animals, playing, cuddling and taking for walks. I have 3 dogs of varying sizes (8, 25, & 100). They have different diets and activity levels, but all maintain their appropriate body weight. We have a fenced backyard for them to roam around in. The big dog is an anxious creature so he gets put in the crate when everyone leaves the house. I specifically worked with him on it and he has done wonderfully with positive reinforcement. I am able to transfer this knowledge to other animals, it might just take a few tries. Access to treats might help 😋. For walks, I can handle dogs big dogs and the ones that pull pretty well. I refuse to use choke chains and shock collars. If they are wearing one, I would like (with your permission) to switch it for a regular collar during the time of my stay.

About: I believe a house isn't a home without a dog! I grew up around dogs of all breeds and temperaments, and lovingly cared for my own best dog friend Hobbes for 11 years. About: I've had animals all my life. Everything from dogs and cats to reptiles and small animals. I've been house sitting for friends and co workers for almost 20 years. I'm a part time actress, so while my schedule does vary, I typically have a lot of time at home between gigs! I can spend a lot of time with your fur babies! I am comfortable with whatever level of care you need for your fur babies! If you need me to be there for the majority of the day, I can adjust accordingly.

About: I've loved animals for as long as I can remember. I've always owned dogs, including German Shepherds, Belgian Malinois, Border Collies, and other high energy working breeds. I also grew up caring for horses, goats, dogs, cats, and just about every other animal you can think of. Along the way, I attended basic obedience classes with my own dogs where we learned clicker training and positive reinforcement techniques. Today, I have a German Shepherd and a cat of my own, and I know just how much our pets mean to us. Friends and neighbors have trusted me to care for their pets over the years, and it has always been something I genuinely enjoy. I'm on Rover because spending time with animals simply makes me happy. I know how hard it can be to leave your pet with someone else, and I don't take that trust lightly. When your pet is with me, I'll care for them the same way I care for my own, with patience, lots of love, and attention to their individual needs. My goal is for you to enjoy your time away knowing your pet is safe, happy, and well cared for. I own my own business, which gives me the flexibility to create my own schedule. Because of that, I'm rarely away for more than a few hours at a time, allowing me to provide attentive care and plenty of companionship for your pet. I'll always do my best to accommodate your scheduling needs and make sure your pet feels safe, comfortable, and well cared for while you're away. I am always the person worrying about my own pets and their unique needs when I'm away from the house. This means I will always follow your instructions and care for your pet in extreme detail. Making sure they're secured, have eaten, have plenty of water, ample exercise, any medications needed, and plenty of love and affection. I pay attention to the little things, and will always do everything in my power to ensure their comfortability.

About: I’ve grown up with pets my whole life and taken care of many friends and families pets. I love animals and care for them deeply. I just graduated from Boise State and am currently working full time. My schedule is pretty flexible so I can check on pets throughout the day. I will make sure they get some good exercise and play time along with being fed and let out when needed. If your pets love cuddles I’m happy to do that too.

About: In addition to taking care of my own dogs, I worked at a pet boarding and day care facility for about a year. I took care of dogs of all breeds, sizes, ages, and temperaments. I also know how to administer medications. I am currently a student with few in person classes. I am available to house sit on the weekends and do check-ins during the week. I have house-sat for family and friends before and I am always intentional to leave things just as, or better, than I found them. If that means washing a few dishes or pushing soiled pet bedding through the wash, then that is just what I'll do. I will follow any directions given to a T and care for your pets to the best of my ability.

About: I’ve had many pups in my life but right now I do not have any pups living in my home. I’ve been enjoying spending time with all my rover friends! My home has a fenced backyard and a common area dog run. I work from home so I will be around to play, give treats and go on walks all day! Dogs are allowed on the furniture and beds here. Working from home means I will be hanging with the pups almost all day every day except for errands. Walks every couple hours and lots of snuggles on the couch! There are no children in the home. I have a fenced yard for running and playing. I have a large kennel/crate inside the house in case your pup needs it and have lots of toys and dog beds for lounging. Stop by for a meet and greet if you would like before booking! I typically only leave the house for an hour or so a day to use the gym down the road. The pups are free to roam my home as if it was their own while I am out. Doors stay locked and no one enters unless the pets are secured so no one darts out the door! Food stays off countertops so there are no human snacks available to be snuck. Poop is scooped after every go!
