Even though we were out of the country, L’s communication was amazing and we were able to relax knowing our kitty was taken care of. We got pictures daily and came home to a happy and thriving kitty. About: I’ve been an animal lover my entire life and have extensive hands-on experience caring for both dogs and cats. I currently have a multi-pet household, so I’m very familiar with the time, patience, consistency, and attention that animals need every day. I’m comfortable with walks, potty breaks, feeding, fresh water, playtime, enrichment, litter box care, basic grooming, and maintaining a pet’s normal routine while their family is away. I know that every pet is different. Some dogs need lots of exercise and play, while others are perfectly happy with a leisurely walk and some couch time. Cats can be independent, social, shy, or a little particular about how they like things done. I take the time to learn each pet’s personality, routines, and preferences rather than assuming one approach works for everyone. I’m attentive to changes in behavior, appetite, energy, and bathroom habits, and I’ll communicate with you if I notice something that seems unusual. Most importantly, I want your pets to feel safe, comfortable, loved, and cared for while you’re away. My schedule is currently very flexible, and I’m available throughout the week for dog walks, drop-in visits, house sitting, and pet care. I’m looking to make pet care a larger part of my work, so I’m excited to build my schedule around the needs of the pets and their families. I’m especially interested in recurring walks and visits, as well as longer-term sitting opportunities. I’m happy to discuss specific schedules and do my best to accommodate your pet’s routine and needs. I’m only interested in walking at the moment. I do have a fenced backyard with 3 dogs all sizes and a cat but no boarding at this time.

About: I've loved animals for as long as I can remember. I've always owned dogs, including German Shepherds, Belgian Malinois, Border Collies, and other high energy working breeds. I also grew up caring for horses, goats, dogs, cats, and just about every other animal you can think of. Along the way, I attended basic obedience classes with my own dogs where we learned clicker training and positive reinforcement techniques. Today, I have a German Shepherd and a cat of my own, and I know just how much our pets mean to us. Friends and neighbors have trusted me to care for their pets over the years, and it has always been something I genuinely enjoy. I'm on Rover because spending time with animals simply makes me happy. I know how hard it can be to leave your pet with someone else, and I don't take that trust lightly. I am always the person worrying about my own pets and their unique needs when I'm away from the house. This means I will always follow your instructions and care for your pet in extreme detail. Making sure they're secured, have eaten, have plenty of water, ample exercise, any medications needed, and plenty of love and affection. I pay attention to the little things, and will always do everything in my power to ensure their comfortability.

About: I’ve had many pups in my life but right now I do not have any pups living in my home. I’ve been enjoying spending time with all my rover friends! My home has a fenced backyard and a common area dog run. I work from home so I will be around to play, give treats and go on walks all day! Dogs are allowed on the furniture and beds here. Working from home means I will be hanging with the pups almost all day every day except for errands. Walks every couple hours and lots of snuggles on the couch! There are no children in the home. I have a fenced yard for running and playing. I have a large kennel/crate inside the house in case your pup needs it and have lots of toys and dog beds for lounging. Stop by for a meet and greet if you would like before booking! I typically only leave the house for an hour or so a day to use the gym down the road. The pups are free to roam my home as if it was their own while I am out. Doors stay locked and no one enters unless the pets are secured so no one darts out the door! Food stays off countertops so there are no human snacks available to be snuck. Poop is scooped after every go!

She asked all the right questions about routines, feeding, and what activities they like the most. While we were gone, Madison kept us updated with photos and messages, which gives me peace of mind. Apparently, they had played quite a bit in the backyard, then napped hard, which means they felt comfortable and safe with Madison. I am a huge fan of the outdoors and being active, so I love taking dogs for runs or walks and have pretty open availability! I love all different kinds of dogs, and the size or breed doesn't matter to me. I'm great with getting them potty-trained and can learn different training techniques quickly and easily. I believe that a dog needs the right amount of attention, exercise and diet for them to be happy, and I have the skills to gauge what each breed might need depending on their temperament.
