“Rebecca is such a sweet and genuine soul who our boys love to see when she lets them out in the middle of the day! She is punctual, respectful, great with our pups, sends pics, thorough updates, and is just a wonderful person all around! Highly recommend!”

“Kristina was absolutely wonderful! I needed someone for drop-in visits for my two dogs on very short notice, and she was incredibly flexible and accommodating from the beginning. It was important to me that she and my dogs were comfortable with each other before I booked, and she worked with me to make a meet-and-greet happen even though I wasn’t able to be there. I just returned home, and everything is in order and, most importantly, my dogs are happy and healthy. Kristina truly made the entire process easy and gave me so much peace of mind while I was away. I really appreciate her communication, flexibility, and willingness to work with my last-minute situation. I’m very grateful for the care she gave my dogs and would absolutely recommend her and book with her again!”

About: I’ve had many dogs of my own and animals such as chickens, ducks, and turkeys. Very reliable and knowledgeable in animal loving and care. I currently am off for the summer and looking for part time work. I am available day and night to check on animals when needed. At this time I don’t offer pet car services in my home. However in your home I can make sure you pet gets the best care and is well taken care of.
About: Ive taken care of all types of animals from dogs of all shapes and sizes to cats to horses. I love to care for others, especially animals now that I'm retired from caring for people. As a retiree, I have plenty of time on my hands that needs to be occupied. What better way to fill that time than caring for animals and helping owners. I will do exactly what your instructions say on how to care for your animals. You as the owner know best. I'm familiar crates, potty training, feeding, ECT.

“Sydney was amazing. It was love at first sight for me and my dog. She was so caring and compassionate. I enjoyed the pictures she sent to confirm he was doing good. I will have her come again next time.”

“Aaron continues to provide great care to my two cats. He is attentive and in constant communication as needed. I strongly recommend Aaron -- you and your furry friend(s) will be in good hands. Thank you Aaron.”
“Taylor has been such a great help with our pups. When we have something come up and need the dogs to be let out, he has been AMAZING! They love him and it’s nice to know they are getting loved on when they have a long day away from us.”

About: I believe a house isn't a home without a dog! I grew up around dogs of all breeds and temperaments, and lovingly cared for my own best dog friend Hobbes for 11 years. “Cabrielle is incredible!! She played and played, made my pup a treat, walked him, brought my mail in, found his leash/harness and walked him, bathed him even!! I’ll book her every chance I get!”

About: I've had animals all my life. Everything from dogs and cats to reptiles and small animals. I've been house sitting for friends and co workers for almost 20 years. I'm a part time actress, so while my schedule does vary, I typically have a lot of time at home between gigs! I can spend a lot of time with your fur babies! I am comfortable with whatever level of care you need for your fur babies! If you need me to be there for the majority of the day, I can adjust accordingly.
“Sage did a great job checking in on our cat for 5 mornings in a row! She did everything we asked of her. She was very punctual by checking in with us each morning. And left us a picture each day. My cat unfortunately had other things on his mind. He was playing hard to get. As Sage came by early each morning, he was either still out hunting, or was hiding in his secret place. She said she only caught a glimpse of him one morning, and was too fast for her to get a picture of him. But she was patient with him. She added a few treats to his bowl of food each morning in order to see if he was eating. He was defiantly eating his treats, and his food. I think he was just being shy, as this was only the second time we've hired a cat sitter. We also opted to have him stay outside the whole time we were gone. As he is mostly an outdoor cat, and the weather was mild the whole time. Once we returned home, he was in our back yard, and came running when we called him. He was in happy spirits, and glad to see us!”

“Kelci is amazing! She kept me updated daily on how my babies were doing. The pictures were incredible. As they are both seniors, having someone who truly understands their needs was wonderful! She also went above and beyond keeping the house in order! I had a wonderful time away knowing they were in great hands!”
“Emily is the best cat-sitter that we have ever had! She was responsive and trustworthy, and friendly to boot! She was understanding and flexible and went above and beyond to make sure our kitty was well cared for. I can't recommend her more highly.”

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Mora. On Rover:
- 90% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 97% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 95% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
