“Sage did a great job checking in on our cat for 5 mornings in a row! She did everything we asked of her. She was very punctual by checking in with us each morning. And left us a picture each day. My cat unfortunately had other things on his mind. He was playing hard to get. As Sage came by early each morning, he was either still out hunting, or was hiding in his secret place. She said she only caught a glimpse of him one morning, and was too fast for her to get a picture of him. But she was patient with him. She added a few treats to his bowl of food each morning in order to see if he was eating. He was defiantly eating his treats, and his food. I think he was just being shy, as this was only the second time we've hired a cat sitter. We also opted to have him stay outside the whole time we were gone. As he is mostly an outdoor cat, and the weather was mild the whole time. Once we returned home, he was in our back yard, and came running when we called him. He was in happy spirits, and glad to see us!”

About: My wife and I love dogs and are excited to have the opportunity to care for your small to medium breed non-aggressive dog(s) under 35 lbs. (Please be advised that our experience has shown that the high energy cattle /sheep dogs, shepherds, etc., are generally not a good fit for us). We both have had dogs all of our lives. We have the experience of caring for dogs through their feeding, grooming, exercising, bathing, and of course lots of loving through their senior years. We are both retired, so your dog(s) will have lots of loving attention and care throughout its/their stay. We have a doggie door so your dog(s) can have free access to our large fenced backyard. We accept only one client at a time and up to three dogs IF they are from the same client, so we can give your dog(s) our undivided attention and love. We have one dog, Jax (Cavalier King Charles). He is very loving, playful, and unaggressive. Weather permitting and with your approval, we will include your dog(s) in our daily walks in our neighborhood and excursions to local parks. However we do not allow our dog and your dog(s) in "dog parks" and do not allow them to have exposure to other dogs on our walks. Since we are retired, we will also give lots of cuddles and play in between outings, to keep them engaged. We have a dog toy box full of toys for them to play with, if they want. Just click on our profile pictures to see our "Doggie Hall of Fame" photos which show our care of our clients' dogs. We will follow your instructions, including for special needs, to make sure of your pet(s)’ total care and safety. We have a large and comfy single level home with 24/7 access to a large secure backyard and a doggie door. We will give potty breaks to those dogs that don't want to use the doggie door every couple of hours or as needed. We also have 24/7 video surveillance both inside and outside for their safety. Your dog(s) will have access to the entire house and is/are welcome to cuddle on the furniture, and can sleep in our bedroom in a doggie bed or crate, whichever your pet prefers. However, we do not allow dogs to sleep on our bed. Please let us know if you have any questions or special needs for your dog(s).

I use a filtered water system for them, but that’s also cleaned weekly. If your pets are like mine then all that hair is a bit messy. So, brushing is a must! They do like to get on the couch so vacuuming is a must too! No kennel for them. Just their own cots. As for bathing and grooming - as needed.

“Lindsay was amazing!!! Our 5 month old puppy stayed with her for over a week and it was the best experience. She worked with her on some basic training, got her to sleep in a crate and sent daily pictures and updates! We will definitely use her again in the future!!”

“Our dogs had a great time. We had boarded them before doing rover and they came back covered in pee and very nervous. When we picked up the dogs from Rich they where very happy and excited. They really helped us out as one of the dogs doesn't do very well with other animals and they made it so that he could be outside for more than just walks.”

About: Hi! I have grown up around animals my whole life but in my adult life I have had one cat and one dog. My cat adopted me around 1 year of age and my dog I got when she was a puppy. Unfortunately both of my animals have passed away. My cat about 3 years ago and sadly my dog passed away in April of this year, 2026. I feel a huge hole without animals in the house but am just not ready to get another one yet. I work part time, only 12 hours a week therefore I am home the majority of the time. I live on quarter acre so my backyard is a very good size for a dog to run around, it is fully fenced as well. My dog had diabetes so I am used to giving dogs shots and feel very comfortable doing so. Please choose me to take care of your pet and give them lots of love! You wont regret it! I am currently working part time, 12 hours a week so I am home the majority of the time. My kids go to school during the week as well so my house is nice and quiet for animals to nap, relax, or get plenty of attention from me while the kids are away. I live on quarter acre so ai have a big backyard that is fully fenced perfect for a dog to run around in. My neighborhood is large with multiple walking paths perfect for taking dogs on walks to change the scenery. For dogs that have tons of energy I also have multiple common areas in my neighborhood perfect for throwing the ball long distances. I have plenty of space in my house for a crate if your animal is needing a space of their own or put in their crate at night.
