Aaron stayed with my kitty, Paris for an entire week (which is the longest I've ever been away from her in 14 years) and things could not have gone better. He showed up promptly when he said he'd be there. He sent me updates and pics throughout the day ever single day even on days I told him I wouldn't have service. It was so nice to open my phone and have updates from the day before even though I wasn't expecting them. It was an even better feeling knowing that Aaron truly spent a lot of time with Paris as she is old, sassy, and needy for attention. Aaron was even there when I returned home in order to exchange keys and answer any questions that I had while I was away. It's obvious that Aaron truly cares about his work and his love for animals. About: I have loved animals my entire life and couldn’t imagine life without them! I have taken care of pets since I was a young girl and I currently have a dog that I treat as if he was my child haha! I worked at the Humane Society for 3 years and have lots and lots of experience when it comes to taking care of animals. The wellbeing of animals has always been a big priority in my life! My work is currently under construction due to a fire that happened not too long ago, so I have all the time in the world to care for your pet! My schedule is extremely flexible and I am happy to try and make any day work our schedules allow! Since I will be coming to your home, I will follow any direction that you give me when it comes to letting your dog out!

About: I have been taking care of family/friend pets through the entirety of high school and afterwards. I have worked with a positive feedback trainer with my dog and have been able to apply those teachings to other behaviors in animals. I also know how to handle medications for dogs, from pills, intestine liquids, and topical creams. I absolutely adore big dogs and will totally let them be lap dogs. I love little dogs, even if they try to be ferocious creatures. I work a part-time job and am focusing most of my free time to medical concerns. I traditionally work in the early morning, 6-12. This leaves my afternoons free for the pets, but I can figure out how to care for them in the morning if necessary. Beyond that, I want to maintain active with the animals, playing, cuddling and taking for walks. I have 3 dogs of varying sizes (8, 25, & 100). They have different diets and activity levels, but all maintain their appropriate body weight. We have a fenced backyard for them to roam around in. The big dog is an anxious creature so he gets put in the crate when everyone leaves the house. I specifically worked with him on it and he has done wonderfully with positive reinforcement. I am able to transfer this knowledge to other animals, it might just take a few tries. Access to treats might help 😋. For walks, I can handle dogs big dogs and the ones that pull pretty well. I refuse to use choke chains and shock collars. If they are wearing one, I would like (with your permission) to switch it for a regular collar during the time of my stay.

About: I have grown up with pets my whole like and have a dog and a cat of my own. I have pet sat many times before from cats to multiple dogs. I personally love walking so I love taking a dog with me! Always willing to help pet owners with whatever they need! I am currently a student at Boise State University. I do not have a job outside of school so I definitely have free time to watch over your pets! I am available Tuesday anytime after 2, Thursday anytime after 2, and all day Friday-Monday! At my own home, I have to make sure my cat stays inside so he doesn’t wonder off. I always make sure doors are closed in the areas he is in. I even have a small cattio (cat patio) which is an enclosed space he can sit in to get fresh air outside. My dog gets a lot of exercise and spends some time swimming in the pool!

About: I have had dogs all my life ranging from German Shorthairs to mini dachshunds I treat my dogs almost like they are my children. I worked as a vet tech and a kennel tech and spent most of my days petting and giving loves to all the pups. I have an older pup so I have experience with puppies and geriatric dogs. I work a very flexible job so I have an ample amounts of time to be present with pets. I have all weekends off so a lot of the time I’m home so I’m usually always available. I have a fenced in yard, dog door which can be closed if needed, my old pup is other dog and cat friendly, and I have two little kitties who are very accepting of other cats and dogs

About: I've been a professional Dog walker since I was 18 years old, almost 20 years ago. For the past several years I have specialized in dogs that have aggression or behavioral issues. I have done house sitting, boarding and overnight at my clients houses. I looked after, Dogs, Cats, even Lizards and Fish for people on vacation. I look forward to walking your dog or helping with your animals while you enjoy a vacation. I plan on walking your dog for at least 40 minutes, not including pick up time. I start my picks every morning around 11am. Monday through Friday. I can walk weekends on special occasions. I will visit for house sitting up to 3 times per day. I limit my dogs walks to 6 dogs or less. I prefore Medium sized dogs and up, but i'm open the smaller dogs on a client by client basis. I will the dog solo to or 3 times before introducing him into the group. I want him to get used to me and see how he behaves at the dark park.

About: I've loved animals for as long as I can remember. I've always owned dogs, including German Shepherds, Belgian Malinois, Border Collies, and other high energy working breeds. I also grew up caring for horses, goats, dogs, cats, and just about every other animal you can think of. Along the way, I attended basic obedience classes with my own dogs where we learned clicker training and positive reinforcement techniques. Today, I have a German Shepherd and a cat of my own, and I know just how much our pets mean to us. Friends and neighbors have trusted me to care for their pets over the years, and it has always been something I genuinely enjoy. I'm on Rover because spending time with animals simply makes me happy. I know how hard it can be to leave your pet with someone else, and I don't take that trust lightly. When your pet is with me, I'll care for them the same way I care for my own, with patience, lots of love, and attention to their individual needs. My goal is for you to enjoy your time away knowing your pet is safe, happy, and well cared for. I own my own business, which gives me the flexibility to create my own schedule. Because of that, I'm rarely away for more than a few hours at a time, allowing me to provide attentive care and plenty of companionship for your pet. I'll always do my best to accommodate your scheduling needs and make sure your pet feels safe, comfortable, and well cared for while you're away. I am always the person worrying about my own pets and their unique needs when I'm away from the house. This means I will always follow your instructions and care for your pet in extreme detail. Making sure they're secured, have eaten, have plenty of water, ample exercise, any medications needed, and plenty of love and affection. I pay attention to the little things, and will always do everything in my power to ensure their comfortability.

They don’t have much experience with dogs but if yours is friendly we can work something out.

My contract job on Gowen Field did not get renewed and I am looking to have more flexibility with my schedule as I build my life coaching and color consulting business. About: Hi! I’m 26, a Boise State graduate and former Honors College student, and I’m currently working toward my master’s degree. I also work at St. Luke’s three days a week, which gives me a really flexible schedule and plenty of time for walks, drop-ins, playtime, and pet sitting. I’ve been around animals my whole life and have experience with pets that have very different personalities and needs. I grew up with a cat, lived with a very reactive Pit Bull in college, and now have a 6-month-old Lab puppy of my own. Because of that, I’m comfortable with everything from puppy energy and basic training to dogs that need a little more patience, structure, and awareness of their surroundings. Having my own puppy has definitely reminded me how much work goes into raising a young dog! I’m very used to potty schedules, frequent walks, reinforcing good habits, keeping puppies entertained, and making sure they don’t get into absolutely everything they can find. I’m extremely responsible, organized, and dependable, but I’m also the kind of person who genuinely enjoys spending time with animals. I know how nerve-racking it can be to leave your pet with someone new, and I want you to feel completely comfortable knowing they’re being cared for by someone who will pay attention to their routine, personality, safety, and all the little details you give me. Whether your pet is an energetic puppy, a reactive dog who needs some extra patience, or a cat who prefers to do their own thing, I’m happy to meet them where they’re at and treat them like one of my own. I work 3 days a week and very rarely on weekends so I am very flexible and have a really easy ability to move my schedule around to come see your pet. I am very good at following directions and take pet safety very seriously. I am sure I accommodate your dog whether that means you have a large backyard or you live in a small apartment and the dog is crate trained.

About: I am a huge animal lover. I love to play with my cat at home and I love playing with other people's pets as well. I think that animals are really important and that they should be treated as such. Right now my daily activities are going to school and work. I believe that I am a pet professional because I love animals and I will take care of them and treat them the way that they should be. Some people treat them like their kids and so I am willing to make sure that they are taken care of as such. I'm currently working full-time, but I am off on Thursdays, Saturdays/Sundays. I can also make time after I get off at 6pm during the rest of the week. For me, my cat is an indoor only cat so I do make sure that when I leave that she isn't behind me for her to go outside. When taking care of your animals, I will do my best to make sure they are safe in your home and that they are where they need to be.
