About: I have cats all my life, I have had cats my whole life ranging from Mainecoon to little munchkin cats. I treat my cats almost like they are my children. I worked as a vet tech and a kennel tech and spent most of my days petting and giving loves in the cat room. My friends even poked fun at how while on a vacation in Mexico I “adopted” a resort cat, I would take salmon from the buffet and feed the cat and that cat joined the wedding ceremony we were all there for.

That means I’m able to spend plenty of time with my dogs and any dogs staying with me rather than being gone at work all day. My dogs love other dogs, and having dogs ranging from a little Pom to large, energetic dogs has given me plenty of experience with different sizes, personalities, energy levels, and needs. My Pom is 17 now and has definitely earned the right to take life at his own pace. These days, that often means being carried around by me rather than walking everywhere himself. He also has his own smaller fenced area within our large fenced yard so he can enjoy being outside without having to deal with the bouncing energy of the bigger dogs. If a visiting dog needs a little more peace and quiet outside, they are welcome to share his area too. Not every dog wants to be in the middle of the action all the time, and that’s perfectly fine here. For the dogs who DO want to be in the middle of the action, there is plenty of room in our large fenced yard to run, play, explore, or just hang out. And if your dog needs daily walks, I’m your girl! About: I have been taking care of family/friend pets through the entirety of high school and afterwards. I have worked with a positive feedback trainer with my dog and have been able to apply those teachings to other behaviors in animals. I also know how to handle medications for dogs, from pills, intestine liquids, and topical creams. I absolutely adore big dogs and will totally let them be lap dogs. I love little dogs, even if they try to be ferocious creatures. I work a part-time job and am focusing most of my free time to medical concerns. I traditionally work in the early morning, 6-12. This leaves my afternoons free for the pets, but I can figure out how to care for them in the morning if necessary. Beyond that, I want to maintain active with the animals, playing, cuddling and taking for walks. I have 3 dogs of varying sizes (8, 25, & 100). They have different diets and activity levels, but all maintain their appropriate body weight. We have a fenced backyard for them to roam around in. The big dog is an anxious creature so he gets put in the crate when everyone leaves the house. I specifically worked with him on it and he has done wonderfully with positive reinforcement. I am able to transfer this knowledge to other animals, it might just take a few tries. Access to treats might help 😋. For walks, I can handle dogs big dogs and the ones that pull pretty well. I refuse to use choke chains and shock collars. If they are wearing one, I would like (with your permission) to switch it for a regular collar during the time of my stay.

About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life. Growing up, my family cared for all kinds of animals including dogs, cats, chickens, rabbits, goats, and more. At one point we even had 7 dogs at once! Caring for animals has always come naturally to me, and over the years family, friends, neighbors, and now Rover clients have trusted me with their pets. I’ve been boarding and caring for dogs through Rover for over 3 years and truly love what I do. I’ve also spent time learning from professional dog trainers, which helped teach me proper handling, walking, and understanding different dog temperaments and behaviors. I’m a stay-at-home mom to my two boys, who are now a little older and very used to being around dogs. Because I’m home most of the day, your pup will get plenty of attention, supervision, playtime, potty breaks, and cuddles throughout their stay. My husband and I are both huge animal lovers, and our home is very dog-friendly and relaxed. We have a fully fenced yard, two friendly dogs, and lots of space for your pup to feel comfortable and at home. I can also crate your dog if requested or follow any specific routines you have for them. Dogs are allowed on the furniture here because we believe pets are family too! I know how important it is to trust the person caring for your pet, so I always do my best to provide a safe, loving, and stress-free environment while keeping owners updated with messages and photos during their stay. I’m a stay-at-home mom with two young boys who are now older and very comfortable around dogs. Because I’m home most of the day, pet care fits very naturally into my daily routine. Your pup will get lots of supervision, attention, potty breaks, playtime, and cuddles throughout the day. We live a pretty home-based lifestyle and don’t travel often, so I’m able to provide a consistent and reliable environment for the dogs in my care. Your dog’s safety and comfort are always my top priority. We have a fully fenced yard for safe outdoor play and two friendly dogs who love having company. I’m experienced with different dog personalities and always do slow introductions to help everyone feel comfortable. I can crate your dog if requested and I’m happy to follow any routines, feeding schedules, or special instructions you provide. Dogs in our home are treated like family — including plenty of couch cuddles if they enjoy them! I also provide regular photo and video updates so you can feel comfortable while you’re away.
About: Hi! I’m 26, a Boise State graduate and former Honors College student, and I’m currently working toward my master’s degree. I also work at St. Luke’s three days a week, which gives me a really flexible schedule and plenty of time for walks, drop-ins, playtime, and pet sitting. I’ve been around animals my whole life and have experience with pets that have very different personalities and needs. I grew up with a cat, lived with a very reactive Pit Bull in college, and now have a 6-month-old Lab puppy of my own. Because of that, I’m comfortable with everything from puppy energy and basic training to dogs that need a little more patience, structure, and awareness of their surroundings. Having my own puppy has definitely reminded me how much work goes into raising a young dog! I’m very used to potty schedules, frequent walks, reinforcing good habits, keeping puppies entertained, and making sure they don’t get into absolutely everything they can find. I’m extremely responsible, organized, and dependable, but I’m also the kind of person who genuinely enjoys spending time with animals. I know how nerve-racking it can be to leave your pet with someone new, and I want you to feel completely comfortable knowing they’re being cared for by someone who will pay attention to their routine, personality, safety, and all the little details you give me. Whether your pet is an energetic puppy, a reactive dog who needs some extra patience, or a cat who prefers to do their own thing, I’m happy to meet them where they’re at and treat them like one of my own. I work 3 days a week and very rarely on weekends so I am very flexible and have a really easy ability to move my schedule around to come see your pet. I am very good at following directions and take pet safety very seriously. I am sure I accommodate your dog whether that means you have a large backyard or you live in a small apartment and the dog is crate trained.

About: I have grown up with pets my whole like and have a dog and a cat of my own. I have pet sat many times before from cats to multiple dogs. I personally love walking so I love taking a dog with me! Always willing to help pet owners with whatever they need! I am currently a student at Boise State University. I do not have a job outside of school so I definitely have free time to watch over your pets! I am available Tuesday anytime after 2, Thursday anytime after 2, and all day Friday-Monday! At my own home, I have to make sure my cat stays inside so he doesn’t wonder off. I always make sure doors are closed in the areas he is in. I even have a small cattio (cat patio) which is an enclosed space he can sit in to get fresh air outside. My dog gets a lot of exercise and spends some time swimming in the pool!
About: I've loved animals for as long as I can remember. I've always owned dogs, including German Shepherds, Belgian Malinois, Border Collies, and other high energy working breeds. I also grew up caring for horses, goats, dogs, cats, and just about every other animal you can think of. About: I have had three medium breeds and one small breed throughout my life. I have helped feed, walk, and play with all of them often. I am currently a college student with weekends, and a good amount of time during the week open. Saturday-Tuesday is preferable, other days are negotiable. About: I have a degree in animal science. I have interned at numerous veterinary clinics. I grew up around dogs, cats, rodents as well as horses and cows. About: I grew up with dogs my whole life. I’ve always had at least three dogs in my house, ranging from small dogs to bigger dogs, like labs and German shepherds. I work as a middle school librarian, so I’m available after school and weekends! After 3:30 is when I’m available during the week but I have no limitations on the weekends! Unfortunately, my current residence does not allow for pets. If my residence changes in the near future, I will gladly have pets in my apartment.
