“L took such great care of our adult dog and 12 week old puppy. We were nervous as puppies are a lot to manage but L went above and beyond and exceeded our expectations in so many ways. Additionally, we had never had a house sitter before so this was a little nerve wracking hiring someone off of an app. Once we met in person I was put at ease particularly because how my skittish Mini Aussie was surprisingly not skittish with L and as it turns out I know their mom and they live really close to us. I would recommend L to anyone who needs house sitting or animal sitting. L is very good with animals, detail oriented, professional, trustworthy and conscientious. About: I've loved animals for as long as I can remember. I've always owned dogs, including German Shepherds, Belgian Malinois, Border Collies, and other high energy working breeds. I also grew up caring for horses, goats, dogs, cats, and just about every other animal you can think of. Along the way, I attended basic obedience classes with my own dogs where we learned clicker training and positive reinforcement techniques. Today, I have a German Shepherd and a cat of my own, and I know just how much our pets mean to us. Friends and neighbors have trusted me to care for their pets over the years, and it has always been something I genuinely enjoy. I'm on Rover because spending time with animals simply makes me happy. I know how hard it can be to leave your pet with someone else, and I don't take that trust lightly. About: I have loved animals for as long as I can remember and have more than 27 years of hands-on pet-care experience. My parents allowed me to adopt my first cat from a shelter when I was seven, and she remained my beloved companion until she was 14. When she developed diabetes, I learned to administer her insulin injections twice daily. With consistent care, she lived three additional happy years beyond what we initially thought possible. About: I have had a dog my whole life and love animals. I love the chance to spend time and care for other's animals as well. I currently work part time because I just moved to Idaho and have availability to care for pets in my free time. I would love to play and walk your dog when I am not at my other job and would love the opportunity to provide overnight care too. I am currently working part time so I have somewhat a lot of availability to care for pets during the week or on the weekends I have a backyard and will be able to take your pet on plenty of walks and give them the environment they need to make it through the day.

About: Hi! I’m 26, a Boise State graduate and former Honors College student, and I’m currently working toward my master’s degree. I also work at St. Luke’s three days a week, which gives me a really flexible schedule and plenty of time for walks, drop-ins, playtime, and pet sitting. I’ve been around animals my whole life and have experience with pets that have very different personalities and needs. I grew up with a cat, lived with a very reactive Pit Bull in college, and now have a 6-month-old Lab puppy of my own. Because of that, I’m comfortable with everything from puppy energy and basic training to dogs that need a little more patience, structure, and awareness of their surroundings. Having my own puppy has definitely reminded me how much work goes into raising a young dog! I’m very used to potty schedules, frequent walks, reinforcing good habits, keeping puppies entertained, and making sure they don’t get into absolutely everything they can find. I’m extremely responsible, organized, and dependable, but I’m also the kind of person who genuinely enjoys spending time with animals. I know how nerve-racking it can be to leave your pet with someone new, and I want you to feel completely comfortable knowing they’re being cared for by someone who will pay attention to their routine, personality, safety, and all the little details you give me. Whether your pet is an energetic puppy, a reactive dog who needs some extra patience, or a cat who prefers to do their own thing, I’m happy to meet them where they’re at and treat them like one of my own. I work 3 days a week and very rarely on weekends so I am very flexible and have a really easy ability to move my schedule around to come see your pet. I am very good at following directions and take pet safety very seriously. I am sure I accommodate your dog whether that means you have a large backyard or you live in a small apartment and the dog is crate trained.
