About: I’ve been around dogs my entire life and currently have a German Shorthaired Pointer of my own, so I’m very familiar with puppies, high-energy breeds, and dogs who need plenty of exercise, attention, and structure. I’m comfortable with walks, feeding, playtime, crate routines, basic commands, and sticking closely to your pup’s normal schedule. I know how important it is to have someone you trust caring for your dog, and I’ll treat yours like my own, with lots of love, attention, and photo updates along the way! I work from home, which gives me plenty of flexibility throughout the day for walks, potty breaks, playtime, and lots of attention. I already structure my day around my own pup, so pet care fits naturally into my routine. I’m available throughout the week and on weekends and can be flexible depending on your pet’s needs! I know how important it is to feel completely comfortable with the person caring for your pet. I’ll always follow your pet’s normal routine and any specific instructions you provide. I have a friendly German Shorthaired Pointer and a large, fully fenced backyard with plenty of room to play. I’m also comfortable with crates and can accommodate your dog’s normal routine, whether that means lots of activity or some quiet time to relax.

About: I’ve always had animals in my life and consider them my besties. Growing up with animals especially dogs has built my love for them even more. About: Hi there! I'm Charley, I’ve recently moved to the Meridian/Boise area from Wyoming. I moved in with my sister who has 2 mini golden doodles who I love to take care of, take on walks, and also get pup-cups with. I grew up with a Rottweiler, beagle, and blue heeler, so I am definitely well rounded when it comes to taking care of different types of dogs. While in high school I talked my mom into letting me get my own dog with all of the included responsibility. One of my favorite parts of having a dog was teaching her all of the basic commands and tricks. I'm passionate about giving dogs the care and attention they need. With years of experience caring for dogs of all sizes and breeds, I understand the importance of a well-taken care of and happy pup. Whether it's an overnight stay or a leisurely stroll, I'm here to ensure your furry friend has a great time while you’re away! I’m currently working Monday through Friday from around 8am-5pm with some days only working till noon. I have all nights off, so I will be able to care for the pets however they need. My weekends are usually pretty open with occasionally working some Sundays! I do not offer in home care for your pets at the moment. In clients homes, I will be able to care for your dog as much as he/she needs whether they need multiple walks, specific eating times, or medications.

About: I recently graduated with my MBA and, while I figure out what comes next professionally, I’m currently home full time. That means I’m able to spend plenty of time with my dogs and any dogs staying with me rather than being gone at work all day. I’ve always had dogs in my life, starting when I was a child, and I truly cannot imagine my life without them. Everyone knows that person who walks into a room and says hello to the dogs before the people. That’s me. I’m absolutely that person. I currently have four dogs of my own, so dogs are a pretty big part of everyday life in our house. I have a Pomeranian, a Husky mix, and two Chocolate Labs. My dogs love other dogs, and having dogs ranging from a little Pom to large, energetic dogs has given me plenty of experience with different sizes, personalities, energy levels, and needs. My Pom is 17 now and has definitely earned the right to take life at his own pace. These days, that often means being carried around by me rather than walking everywhere himself. He also has his own smaller fenced area within our large fenced yard so he can enjoy being outside without having to deal with the bouncing energy of the bigger dogs. If a visiting dog needs a little more peace and quiet outside, they are welcome to share his area too. Not every dog wants to be in the middle of the action all the time, and that’s perfectly fine here. For the dogs who DO want to be in the middle of the action, there is plenty of room in our large fenced yard to run, play, explore, or just hang out. And if your dog needs daily walks, I’m your girl! Mine insist on them, so walking is already part of my everyday routine. My Pom makes it about half a mile, my Husky gets around 2.5 miles, and my two Chocolate Labs need at least 3 miles. I walk all four separately, so everyone gets individual time and a walk that actually fits their needs. Adding another walk or two for a visiting dog is no problem, whether they need a long walk to burn off some energy or a short leisurely one to sniff everything along the way. Your dog will fit right in. Inside, there are dog beds and blankets throughout the house, although our dogs are also welcome to sleep with us. Basically, they sleep wherever they decide they are most comfortable. I want a dog staying with us to feel comfortable too, so I’m happy to follow what they are accustomed to at home as much as possible. I also take mealtimes seriously. Our Husky and Pomeranian eat separately, while our two Labs are comfortable eating together. Visiting dogs are typically fed separately from our dogs so everyone can relax and enjoy their meal without competition or unnecessary stress. Depending on the dog, that may be as simple as eating across the room or having a baby gate between them. I adjust based on the individual dogs involved because their comfort and safety matter more than having one rule that every dog has to follow. Some people might say my dogs are spoiled rotten. I prefer to say they are extremely well loved, and that is exactly how I treat the dogs who stay with me. I’m comfortable caring for dogs with all kinds of personalities and needs, from seniors who prefer a quieter pace to younger dogs with energy to spare. I’m also comfortable administering medications and caring for dogs who may need a little extra attention. Whether your dog is staying for daycare or boarding, I know how important it is to feel confident about the person caring for them. When a dog stays with me, they aren’t treated like a guest I’m watching. They’re treated like part of the family until their family comes back to get them. I am currently home full time, so I have lots of time to spend with my dogs and yours! My life is sincerely built around the happiness and comfort of my babies, and yours when they are with me. Our days already include individual walks, outside time, playtime, meals, plenty of attention, and, of course, lots of lounging and snuggles. Because I’m home, I also have the flexibility to adjust my routine to what your dog is used to. If they normally eat at a certain time, need multiple walks, take medication on a schedule, need more frequent potty breaks, or simply want someone nearby, I can accommodate that. Your dog doesn’t have to adjust to my schedule. As much as possible, I’ll adjust my schedule to theirs. We have a large, fully fenced yard with a smaller fenced area within it for little dogs or dogs who just want some peace and quiet. That way, if the big dogs are running around playing and being their usual goofy selves, the smaller or less energetic dogs don’t have to worry about getting run over! Visiting dogs are welcome to use whichever area makes them most comfortable. We also have multiple dog doors, so dogs can come and go as they need or want rather than having to wait for someone to let them outside. Since I’m home full time, I’m here to keep an eye on everyone throughout the day. I pay attention to each dog and what makes them comfortable. Dogs can be together when they enjoy each other’s company, but I also have plenty of space to separate them when someone needs a break. Meals are typically separated as well, either with physical space or a baby gate, so everyone can eat comfortably and safely without worrying about another dog getting into their food. My own dogs range from a 17 year old Pomeranian to a Husky mix and two Chocolate Labs, so I’m very accustomed to managing different sizes, ages, energy levels, and needs under one roof. I don’t expect every dog to behave or interact the same way. I’d rather adjust the environment to the dog and make sure everyone feels safe and comfortable. If I’m caring for your dog in your home, I’ll follow your routines and house rules. My goal is to keep things as familiar as possible for your dog while you’re away, because sometimes the best way to help them feel safe is simply to keep their world as normal as possible.

About: I've owned several dogs in my lifetime and helped my family foster many "challenging" boxers. I know how to handle dogs that do not trust easily or have lots of fears. My job is very flexible and I work from home, so pet care can be flexible as well. My old boy has been with me since 6 weeks old from the streets. He isn't mobile anymore so I'm looking to keep up with my daily dog walks. I've owned both dogs and cats and grew up with a ton of animals in my family home. I love both long and short walks, depending on your needs. I've watched a lot of dogs and cats through Nextdoor and family/friends, but this will be my first time carrying for dogs through Rover. I'm comfortable with long-term and short-term care. A messy home doesn't bother me, I'll be too focused on your animal to notice!

I’m currently not working, and I understand that some pets and their owners feel more comfortable in their own home and I have the time and love to give to your pet, my boyfriend currently works nights so trying to fill my day with animals as I have so much love to give! In your home I will respect your privacy, and only tend to the pets. I will only do what you ask so if you don’t ask it may not get done. But I will work with you to get what you need done!! And make sure that your fur baby is well loved, played with (however they choose), taken on walks as well!

About: I have been taking care of family/friend pets through the entirety of high school and afterwards. I have worked with a positive feedback trainer with my dog and have been able to apply those teachings to other behaviors in animals. I also know how to handle medications for dogs, from pills, intestine liquids, and topical creams. I absolutely adore big dogs and will totally let them be lap dogs. I love little dogs, even if they try to be ferocious creatures. I work a part-time job and am focusing most of my free time to medical concerns. I traditionally work in the early morning, 6-12. This leaves my afternoons free for the pets, but I can figure out how to care for them in the morning if necessary. Beyond that, I want to maintain active with the animals, playing, cuddling and taking for walks. I have 3 dogs of varying sizes (8, 25, & 100). They have different diets and activity levels, but all maintain their appropriate body weight. We have a fenced backyard for them to roam around in. The big dog is an anxious creature so he gets put in the crate when everyone leaves the house. I specifically worked with him on it and he has done wonderfully with positive reinforcement. I am able to transfer this knowledge to other animals, it might just take a few tries. Access to treats might help 😋. For walks, I can handle dogs big dogs and the ones that pull pretty well. I refuse to use choke chains and shock collars. If they are wearing one, I would like (with your permission) to switch it for a regular collar during the time of my stay.

About: I am an energetic female who loves all types of animals. I’ve had experience with a fair variety over the course of my life— fish, cats, dogs, turtles, guinea pigs, hermit crabs, bunnies, a wolf spider once... I am a very responsible and trustworthy person, and the best interest of the animal and owner’s personal wishes are always my priority, especially because I understand how important it is to be consistent when a pet-owner’s time and money are put into tasks like training and scheduling. I feel that animals are like family. Personally, my pets are my babies, and I would do anything to make sure they are well taken care of, and most importantly, happy and enjoying this short life. It would be a lovely experience to meet your companion(s), create exciting and loving memories, and help tend to their needs while you are away, unavailable, or just needing an extra hand. I look forward to meeting you, and your companion(s)! FUN FACT: I trained my oldest cat to walk on a leash and harness, and trained both of them to sit, lay down, stay, and come! I work a full-time job, from Wednesday through Saturday. I am available Sunday through Tuesday at any time to help support you with your companion(s). I have two cats at my home who are fed twice a day with free access throughout the apartment unless I know I will be out and about for a long period. I separate my cats to ensure safety from any bullying stemming from redirected or play aggression, and to still allow feeding as they both have different diets. Because they are cats, we have play time when they show signs of being open to it, and we enjoy lots of cuddles and petting—when they are open to it lol! My cats enjoy hanging out on the balcony or by an open window and I check up on them frequently when the screen door is shut to make sure they are comfortable. I interact with them like family, talking to them and watching movies with them!

About: I’ve had many opportunities to work with and sit for multiple different types of pups/dogs as well as kittens/cats. I enjoy seeing the personalities of each that makes them unique to their breed and how they were raised. I currently work out of the home Monday-Thursday leaving room for love, play, and walks in the evening and early morning with a possibility of mid day check ins. I often house/pet sit out of my home at the location the pet lives so they are in the comfort of their own environment, however have provided space at my home in the past. Regular feedings per the request of the owner. Regular walks, play, belly rubs, and scratches. I prefer fenced yards and do have a small fenced in back yard.

About: I have grown up with pets my whole like and have a dog and a cat of my own. I have pet sat many times before from cats to multiple dogs. I personally love walking so I love taking a dog with me! Always willing to help pet owners with whatever they need! I am currently a student at Boise State University. I do not have a job outside of school so I definitely have free time to watch over your pets! I am available Tuesday anytime after 2, Thursday anytime after 2, and all day Friday-Monday! At my own home, I have to make sure my cat stays inside so he doesn’t wonder off. I always make sure doors are closed in the areas he is in. I even have a small cattio (cat patio) which is an enclosed space he can sit in to get fresh air outside. My dog gets a lot of exercise and spends some time swimming in the pool!

About: I work from home so I can hangout with your dog and let them out throughout the day. I don’t have a backyard but go for lots of walks each day. There is a park a few minutes from me that has a great walking path. I also like to take dogs to the dog park and let them run around freely and meet new friends. The Greenbelt is a 5 minute walk and the foothills a 5 minute drive. I got a puppy, she’s now just over a year old. Her name is Eowyn and is a very energetic corgi. She loves dogs and people and wants to be the center of attention. Enoch, my corgi passed away a year ago. I raised him since he was 8 weeks old and trained him myself. Enoch traveled with me to 30 states and 6 Canadian provinces. I took Enoch with me everywhere I could. Everyone loved meeting Enoch and commented on his great temperament and how well trained he was. I miss Enoch everyday. I look forward to meeting your pup and spending time with them. I am back working in an office for now. I come home at lunch to pet and walk dogs. We go for several walks around the neighborhood each day. I do not have a fenced yard. So I will take your dog for walks around the neighborhood and to the parks. I am very dog friendly so they are allowed on the furniture and on my bed.
