About: I am a veterinary assistant and have worked and surrounded myself with animals my whole life. I’ve volunteered at animal shelters, worked with vets, and was a dog handler and a doggie daycare over the past few summer years. I have experience with cat, dogs, fish, rodents, reptiles, and more. About: I am very energetic and genuinely happy to see dogs and cats everywhere I go. I have a 13-year old cattle dog mix, 5-year old cat, and 1.5 year old pug. I love saying hi to all types of animals when I’m out and about. My older dog walks pretty slow for a short distance while my younger pup loves going on runs with me. I enjoy hanging out with cats whether that be on the couch or playing with their toys. I’m currently working full-time, but I’m usually free when I get off work at 3:30pm to stop by and check on your pet. I like to stay active so if I’m not out walking you can find me taking a yoga class. I’m very respectful of you and your pets home and will only go into areas only when necessary to take care of your pets. I don’t leave a mess and will clean up after your pet if accidents or spills happen when I am taking care of them.

About: I've owned several dogs in my lifetime and helped my family foster many "challenging" boxers. I know how to handle dogs that do not trust easily or have lots of fears. My job is very flexible and I work from home, so pet care can be flexible as well. My old boy has been with me since 6 weeks old from the streets. He isn't mobile anymore so I'm looking to keep up with my daily dog walks. I've owned both dogs and cats and grew up with a ton of animals in my family home. WOW, WOW, WOW. This was an amazing experience. Kelcy took such grea care of my cat. I loved the daily pictures and the synopsis of what he was like after each visit. While on vacation, I looked at those pictures many times. It was such a relief knowing he was perfectly taken care of. I even made one of the pictures she took of him as my new background screen. 10 out of 10 experience. I would not hesitate to use her again and recommend her!!!

Before booking, confirm:

If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. A Meet & Greet is a casual meeting to vet potential sitters and communicate care needs for peace of mind before a booking begins. Only sitters who have never booked with you before can schedule a Meet & Greet on Rover; however, you are welcome to coordinate one in Rover messages with sitters you have previously booked. This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.
Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Meet & Greets are a great way to prepare your pet and sitter for longer stays or first-time bookings. Read our tips for your first Meet & Greet.
sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
