About: I am always the first person to volunteer to petsit because my parents did not want pets when I was growing up! So I am of course the cool aunt and/or godmother to many of my friends and familys pets. Consider me the cool mom. Snacks and snuggles are ready for your pet at all times! About: I have walked and boarded dogs for 10 years. I am new to Rover. I love taking dogs for walks and getting them some exercise and enrichment. I work 9-5, with time for walks during lunch, before work, and in the evenings. Weekends can include up to three walks a day, including longer walks. About: Hello, my name is Atticus! I worked at a doggy daycare for over a year, have been pet and house sitting for neighbors and friends for over 3 years, actively volunteer at a cat shelter since 2017, and have been walking dogs since I was a kid. I have 5 pets (one dog, three cats, and one snake) of my own, making me well versed in caring for a variety of animals. I work a sporadically scheduled contracted job 1 to 3 Saturdays a month that I'm very committed to. However, these jobs have never gotten in the way of my care towards my own animals and the animals I have pet sat for. I don't pet sit in my own home, as I can't be sure that my animals will 100% get along with a client's animal. I have slept over in guest rooms of the houses I have spent over night in, as well as having only been in the house with the pets during the day, all per the client's request. Whatever one's house looks like or whatever features one's house may have, I am always sure to respect boundaries, clean up after myself, and make sure the house is left looking better than when I arrived.

Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
