Availability
Pet sitting is my full time job, so caring for your pets through Rover is my only work priority. I am available every day of the week. My schedule is pretty flexible, but I am usually booked right around noon, seeing as midday is a highly requested time slot.

When I check-in on pets for people who are out of town/at work I always treat their home with care and respect. I'm extra diligent about making sure things are tidy, doors are locked, and most importantly that the pets are safe and cared for. I am happy to help with some simple house sitting tasks like bringing in mail or watering indoor plants for those who are out of town. If you choose to board your dog at our home, we have extra food bowls, toys, pet beds, and even an extra crate. You won't have to pack much for your pup except for their food and possible medication. We do have a fenced backyard, but it is very small. Our dog Bella is typically friendly towards other dogs. I like to schedule a meet and greet before booking a stay just to make absolute sure that our dogs get along. Bella likes to play with other dogs sometimes, but she's not as playful as she used to be. She's pretty independent and is happy to mind her own business. She has never displayed any food or toy aggression. That being said I do always feed dogs separately as a safety precaution.

When it comes to dogs, I always schedule a meet and greet before booking. This allows me to meet your pup so I'm not a complete stranger the next time they see me. During this time you can teach me everything I'll need to know in order to provide great care while you are away. With cats I don't always do a meet and greet. I am comfortable following instructions via text and will reach out if I have questions or concerns. However, if you would prefer to do a meet and greet before booking that's great too!
A typical day
I can do almost any activity with your pet that they would like to do. If you own a high energy dog I would love to take them on a walk or play fetch in a fenced backyard. If your pet is more of a cuddle bug, or likes to play inside I am happy to do that as well. Some things to note: I don't do dog parks or take pets off leash in areas that are not fenced. I will also cancel outdoor walks due to hazardous weather conditions.

Pet care experience
I have been pet sitting full time on Rover since 2020 and I absolutely love it. My husband Keenan is featured on my profile because he occasionally helps me out and loves animals just as much as I do. We adopted our dog Bella from the Idaho Humane Society in 2019. She came to us with lots of behavioral issues. Training her with the help of a professional taught me so much about caring for dogs that may be reactive or fearful. I am also comfortable working with senior pets and have experience administering oral and topical medications. I'm comfortable with dogs of any breed and size, although I may not be able to walk multiple large dogs at once.
