“With a last minute request, Dooku spent a weekend with Lindsay and her family. From the onset, Lindsay was very prompt with responses, she was very communicative, pleasant and positive. I expressed a concern about Dooku being susceptible to heat exhaustion because he is a black Lab with two coats and the days were very hot (100 to 105 degrees). Lindsay put me at ease and made it clear that she would take care of him, exercise him lightly and monitor his behavior. Knowing Lindsay and her family had a swimming pool, I cautioned her about Dooku’s love for swimming (it’s a lab thing 🐕🦺🐾) and that she would be challenged keeping him out of the pool. Throughout the stay, Lindsay sent me updates, photos and in no time at all, she informed me Dooku was swimming in her pool with her family and they were having fun! There is nothing like putting your cherished pup in the hands of someone else and knowing they are safe and well taken care of. Dooku will certainly be back and Lindsay comes highly recommended! About: I've worked as a vet tech assistant and kennel assistant in a boarding facility where I gave oral medications, dealt with difficult pets, trimmed nails, the works. I've been pet sitting since high school and have owned dogs and cats my entire life. I don't own cats at the moment but I'd love to help take care of yours to get my fix in while I work a full time monday-friday job. About: I grew up with dogs and have always been around them! My dad does rover and I have helped him take them on walks, and fed them. I have a pretty flexible schedule and I am home most days with the occasional errand run. I love to workout as well so walking or running with the dogs would be great! About: I had a dog walking business in middle school and high school. I spent several years in Boise volunteering with Boise Bully Breed and fostered a rescue greyhound before that. I have my own dog, a Great Dane/Border Collie Mix and did formal group training with him through the humane society, so I'm very recently refreshed on training skills (leash skills, impulse control) and have experience handling large dogs on leash. Work office hrs Mon-Fri but my partner is currently home full time so someone is home most hours. I usually bike, run, hike, or go to the dog park with my own dog 2x per day. My partner is home during the day and helps with care. I have a very small fenced backyard. My dog is 4 years old and sociable with most dogs. He will play as much as your dog is willing but is also ok to chill. I can bring dogs on walks on the greenbelt or out to foothills if desired or to the park or dog park. We have an off leash area near the river that we frequently go to. Dogs are allowed on furniture.

About: I have walked and boarded dogs for 10 years. I am new to Rover. I love taking dogs for walks and getting them some exercise and enrichment. I work 9-5, with time for walks during lunch, before work, and in the evenings. Weekends can include up to three walks a day, including longer walks. At home, or with clients, dogs get a good watchful eye to ensure they don’t get into anything they shouldn’t. With an adventurous pup of my own, I am careful to remove any “escape opportunities”

About: Hello, my name is Atticus! I worked at a doggy daycare for over a year, have been pet and house sitting for neighbors and friends for over 3 years, actively volunteer at a cat shelter since 2017, and have been walking dogs since I was a kid. I have 5 pets (one dog, three cats, and one snake) of my own, making me well versed in caring for a variety of animals. I work a sporadically scheduled contracted job 1 to 3 Saturdays a month that I'm very committed to. However, these jobs have never gotten in the way of my care towards my own animals and the animals I have pet sat for. I don't pet sit in my own home, as I can't be sure that my animals will 100% get along with a client's animal. I have slept over in guest rooms of the houses I have spent over night in, as well as having only been in the house with the pets during the day, all per the client's request. Whatever one's house looks like or whatever features one's house may have, I am always sure to respect boundaries, clean up after myself, and make sure the house is left looking better than when I arrived.
