“Hiring Elisabeth has been Life changing for me and my Pup. I’m a healthcare worker and work 12 hour days. After my mother passed and I moved, I needed help with care for my pup on the days I worked. Elisabeth came to our rescue. So grateful for her. She’s the best! 😁”

“Selina was amazing!!! She went above and beyond to make sure our pup was well taken care of. It was so wonderful knowing he was watched over and loved while we were away.”

“My dog is my whole world; I trust very few people with her. She is high-maintenance, reactive, strong, and generally difficult to walk. Arianna and Trevor are such great people and care about my girl so much. They are excellent listeners and have my hard-earned trust. I absolutely recommend their services and am so thankful I found them.”

About: The connection I have built with animals over the past few years allows me to give them the attention, love, and fun they deserve! I have experienced an array of many personalities, whether it’s a dog bursting with excitement or perhaps they’re more timid and shy. I will always go their pace and be ready to match their energy and attend to their needs! For the past 5 years, I have been working a part-time job for a small jewelry and pet tag business! I have also been doing food deliveries as well. Pet care fits into my everyday schedule as I can choose my own work schedule any day of the week! I have a golden doodle named Wally at home, where he is free to roam in our fenced off backyard. The fence is a good height and locked for his safety! We also have a camera in our backyard to ensure protection.
About: I’ve been pet sitting for over 10 years and previously worked as a veterinary technician, giving me a strong foundation in pet care and safety. I’ve also had my own dogs and cats, so I truly understand how much our pets mean to us. I currently don’t have pets of my own, so I love caring for others and filling that space with lots of attention and love. My goal is always to make sure every pet feels comfortable, happy, and cared for like they’re my own. I have open availability! I’d love to use my free time to walk your dog, visit with them, or provide extra attention and love. (Cats too!) I’m flexible and happy to help care for your pets in ways that fit your schedule, so they feel happy, safe, and loved while you’re away. Your pet’s safety and well-being are my top priority. I can come to your home to visit, walk, or spend time with your pet in their familiar environment, helping them feel safe, comfortable, and happy. Every pet is treated like family, with plenty of love, attention, and supervision so you can have peace of mind while you’re away. I also love to send picture updates!
“Daniel has proven himself to be professional and an excellent communicator while also showing how well he is at handling our dog. Would gladly recommend him to anyone in need of top level dog care”

About: I've been around animals my whole life. Like my daughter (who loves to help with Rover) I had an inexplicable connection with all animals from a young age. I've always known working with animals in some capacity was my life's calling. I started with Rover years ago and quickly realized I had found the thing I loved and could make a living doing. It is my passion! I've never met a dog I didn't get along with and hope to add your dog(s) to my list of new best friends. 😊 Taking care of animals is my daily and weekly routine. Rarely do scheduling conflicts arise and my calendar is updated frequently to prevent that. This is my full time job. All I ask is for any specific instructions when leaving them in my care or having me come to your home and I follow them to the letter. Whatever your pet's routine is, that's what it will be with me.

About: Hi, My name is Meah! I’ve spent my entire life around animals as big as horses and as small as crickets. Currently I own and did most of the training for my 2 dogs named Luna (a white husky), and Gus (a chocolate lab/blood hound). I also have Heffley (a leopard gecko). In the past I’ve owned 2 basset hounds and 3 cats. My blood hound has medical needs due to having severe allergies and stomach issues, resulting in me now having experience in medicine administration, medicine injection, and dog first aid. I also spent a long time caring for my senior basset hound (princess) who had severe bone deformities and mobility issues. I’m currently working part time on a schedule that I can move around very easily to be available for your pets needs. Times after 4 pm can be challenging currently but can be worked around with proper notice and communication. :) I care for pets in their own homes, where they feel most comfortable and secure. I follow each pet’s routine closely, including feeding, walks, playtime, potty breaks, and any special care instructions. I am attentive, reliable, and committed to providing a safe, stress free experience for both pets and their owners while they are away. I also provide regular photo updates and reports so you can stay informed and have peace of mind knowing your pet is happy and well cared for.
About: Like many animal lovers, I raised cats and dogs the majority of my life. Even raised 9 pups from my own dog! I’d like to help take care of your pets with you. My previous work had me travel for 3 years so I understand how challenging it can be to have someone watch your pets. You wonder if they’ll be as nice, gentle, caring, and active as you are with them. (Or if your pet will pick them over you for being away so long!) I will be as, if not more, attentive to your pets while you are away. Like the title says - I’m a realtor! My schedule is open and most of my work can be done through my phone or laptop. I do go to the gym and can adjust my schedule to be morning or evening depending on your needs. Early start for my dogs! 5am walks to start their day along with clean bowls before every feeding! I use a filtered water system for them, but that’s also cleaned weekly. If your pets are like mine then all that hair is a bit messy. So, brushing is a must! They do like to get on the couch so vacuuming is a must too! No kennel for them. Just their own cots. As for bathing and grooming - as needed.
About: I have gown up around all sorts of animals from farm life to reptiles and everything in between. I’ve always found a good nature and trust in the pets I have been fortunate enough to meet in my life. Even at a young age living in a RV park I have owned and operating my own quality care Bussiness to benefit Man’s Best Friend. During the week I am running a customer satisfaction based Bussiness that allows me many opportunities during the day to not only visit but spend time taking care of your pets needs. Given the chance to care for your pet is a high honor so it won’t just be me checkin the box of what needs to be done but I want to ensure they are cared for and thriving from our time together, they may miss their parents while you are away but they won’t be missing out on quality time.
About: I have always had dogs and puppies throughout my life, and took an interest in animal care around 10 years old. I have experience with training and health-care for all ages. I have had jobs as a kennel attendant, and have volunteered with shelters for play/enrichment, and transportation to special vet trips requiring road trips to Emmett. Studied animal care during college, and have worked in healthcare for over 10 years. I am currently working a full time day job, but open to evenings and weekends. Looking forward to adding some fur baby visits to my routine. In your home, I'm more than happy to follow the rules and expectations. I am happy to play, walk, and make sure your baby feels happy, safe, and comfortable with me.

About: What sets me apart from other sitters is my ability to combine dependable, detail-oriented care with a calm, patient approach that helps pets feel comfortable right away. I have hands-on experience with both puppies and senior pets, including basic puppy training support, leash manners, crate acclimation, and helping older pets with slower-paced routines or medication schedules. I take time to understand each pet’s unique needs and personality, and I keep communication clear and consistent so you always know how your pet is doing. My goal is not only to care for your pet, but to build trust, comfort, and confidence with every visit. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because I build my schedule around my visits and walks. I plan my mornings and afternoons specifically to allow plenty of time for feeding, walking, playtime, and check-ins without feeling rushed. Since I work from home I’m able to give pets consistent attention throughout the day. This lets me provide reliable care, maintain routines, and stay responsive to each pet’s needs. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I focus on maintaining their normal routines so they feel safe and comfortable. I follow all feeding schedules, walk times, and house rules exactly as instructed. I make sure pets get plenty of playtime, exercise, and affection, and I keep their environment clean—refreshing water, cleaning litter boxes, wiping paws, and tidying up any messes. I also pay close attention to their behavior and health so I can update you with regular photos and notes. My goal is to make your pet’s day feel as familiar and stress-free as possible while you’re away.
About: I have always had a pet growing up. Ever since I was born I have never not had a pet. I have dealt with young puppies all the way up to senior pups. I have a good understanding of all the do's and dont's when it comes to dogs. I have always loved my pets and cared for them deeply. I promise I will love and care for yours the same! I work Monday-Friday 8-5. I'm usually available all weekend and also after 5pm on weekdays. I'd be happy to care for your pets within those hours! Definitely just always keeping an eye on them. I love animals so I always want to be near them naturally. Making sure they're not chewing on anything or digging where they're not supposed to be.
“My dog Atlas absolutely loves Regan. When I tell him Regan is here for a walk, he gets the zoomies and is so excited to see her. She is also super friendly and punctual. Highly recommended!”

Thank you again to Arianna and Trevor for taking such great care of my high-maintenance doggie daughter! You are both caring and reliable and there is no one I trust more to walk my 90 lb, squirrel/cat obsessed kook! 😂 I think you know what she’s gonna lunge at before she does at this point! Thank you for learning her personality and needs. You two are the BEST!

Emma and Peter were great! They took good care of my dog and got her energy out for me on Mother’s Day so I could have a slower morning before church with my kids since my husband was at school all day, it was super helpful, they were quick to responding and getting a meet and greet scheduled, were super kind, I’d definitely rebook with them!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
