I am so INCREDIBLY GRATEFUL for Arianna and Trevor. Leaving my dog for over two weeks was an incredibly difficult thing for me. She has attachment issues, and is super difficult to walk… She’s reactive to squirrels cats and random other dogs. She is the love of my life and I find it so hard to find anyone I can trust to care for her. Arianna and Trevor helped establish a relationship with my dog Annie before I even left. They were so attentive to her needs and sent me photos and updates every day. I could tell that they had really listened to me and my requests and were super mindful of Annie as an individual dog. They were so attentive to her needs and sent me photos and updates every day. I could tell that they had really listened to me and my requests and we’re super mindful of Annie as an individual dog. They anticipated her reactivity. They showed her love and kindness. I cannot recommend these two caring people highly enough and I will trust them in the future exclusively with my precious pup. Thank you, Arianna and Trevor! I was able to enjoy my vacation because I knew your competence, care, and responsibility were second to none. Looking forward to the next trip knowing I can count on you both!

About: My husband and I both work from home so your dog will never be left alone for long periods—they’re part of our daily life, receiving constant care, companionship, and supervision throughout the day. We specialize in creating a calm, nurturing space that helps dogs feel safe and at ease, especially if they’re anxious or adjusting to being away from their owners. Our home is quiet, structured, and full of affection, which is ideal for dogs who thrive on routine and reassurance. We also have experience and patience with: • **Puppies** – We can help reinforce basic training like potty routines, crate training, and positive behavior habits. We understand the consistency and attention puppies need and are happy to continue the training you’ve started. • **Senior dogs** – We provide gentle, attentive care for older dogs, including slower-paced walks, medication support if needed, and extra comfort and monitoring to make sure they feel relaxed and cared for. • **Dogs with different temperaments** – Whether your dog is high-energy, shy, or just loves to cuddle, we adapt our care to fit their unique personality. Between the two of us, your dog will always have someone nearby to care for them. We are home full-time and able to give your dog plenty of love, attention, and supervision throughout the day. We know how hard it can be to leave your dog behind, so we are committed to providing regular updates, photos, and communication so you can feel at ease while you’re away. Your dog’s happiness, safety, and comfort are always our top priorities. Our home is a calm, safe, and cozy environment—perfect for dogs who enjoy companionship and a relaxed setting. We have a 3 year old Border Collie/Lab mix who loves to play and gets along very well with all dogs. Your dog’s daily routine is very important to us, so we do our best to stick closely to their normal schedule. Whether that means regular walks, feeding times, play sessions, or quiet rest time, we tailor our care to meet your dog’s individual needs and personality.

Daniel has been great with Jack. I book him for a 30 minute walk, but he has been taking Jack on longer walks. He even was able to pick up a last minute walk last week. It puts my mind at ease knowing Jack is not cooped up all day alone and he is always very calm when I get home. Thank you Daniel.

About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life, and caring for them is something I genuinely love doing. I grew up with both cats and dogs, including my chocolate Lab, Tucker, who was my best friend for 16 wonderful years. Those experiences taught me that pets aren’t just animals—they’re family. Over the years, I’ve regularly cared for my family and friend’s dogs while they’ve been away on weekends and vacations, and I love spending quality time with every pet I meet. Whether it’s playtime, walks, cuddles, or simply keeping them company, my goal is always to make them feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I currently have a French Bulldog named Hootie, who means the world to me. I work from home, so I’m with him throughout the day, and caring for him has also given me experience navigating medical needs and paying close attention to a dog’s health and routine. What sets me apart is that I care for every pet the way I would want someone to care for my own. I know how important it is to maintain their routines, respect each owner’s preferences, and make sure every pet feels like they’re with family while you’re away. I treat every animal with the same love, patience, and attention I’d give Hootie. Pet care fits naturally into my schedule because I work from home and have the flexibility to adjust my day as needed. I’m available for drop-in visits, walks, feeding, playtime, and companionship during the week and on weekends. I’m also happy to provide overnight care or stay in your home while you’re out of town for a weekend or longer trip. I know how important it is for pets to keep their normal routine, so I’ll do my best to make sure they feel comfortable, loved, and well cared for while you’re away. Whether your pet needs a quick walk, a midday check-in, or someone to keep them company for an extended stay, I’m excited to help and provide dependable care you can trust. When caring for pets in a client’s home, my goal is to keep their routine as normal as possible. I’ll follow your instructions closely—from feeding schedules and walks to medications, playtime, and bedtime routines—because I know consistency helps pets feel safe and comfortable while you’re away. I’ll make sure your pet gets plenty of attention, exercise, affection, and companionship based on their personality and needs. Whether they love long walks, playing fetch, or just relaxing on the couch for cuddles, I’m happy to give them the care they enjoy most. I also understand that trust is just as important as pet care. I’ll treat your home with respect, keep everything clean and secure, and send regular updates with photos so you can relax knowing your pet is happy, loved, and in good hands.

About: I have been dog sitting off and on for several years-for various animals of all shapes and sizes- cats, a pit bull, mutt, a border collie, and a baby calf. I love and feel comfortable with all animals! I have a flexible schedule, and would love to follow whatever routines you already have with your pet. I also feel comfortable with watering plants or whatever other odd jobs might be needed. They will certainly be given lots of love while I get to spend some time with them! I have a part time job currently, but I have flexibility with my hours. I have my own vehicle and can stop by to visit your pet. I have my own large dog, and am comfortable with the routine of pet care- including daily brushing hair or teeth, feeding schedules, walks, simple training, and dog park visits or outside play time. My dog loves to just snuggle, and so I make time for that as well.

About: I love animals! I'm not a "dog person" or a "cat person" I love them all, big or small! Does your cat need some company? Is your dog wound up with pent up energy because you have to work all day? Perhaps you have a puppy who needs to get out and play. I can help! We can play with toys, play fetch, have a puppy play date, or go for a nice walk while you're gone! I love to be outside, and your dog will love the fresh air, the exercise and all the smells we will encounter. I'm available during the day while you're at work and your dog(s) or cat(s) are bored at home. I currently have a completely open schedule and would love to fill it with animals! Of course, I love my own fur babies, but I'd like to extend that love to YOUR fur babies as well! In your home, we'll play with toys, play fetch, have fun, or just have lots of cuddles if that's what they prefer. Every dog is different and I'll be there to provide them with the kind of attention they deserve!

Given the chance to care for your pet is a high honor so it won’t just be me checkin the box of what needs to be done but I want to ensure they are cared for and thriving from our time together, they may miss their parents while you are away but they won’t be missing out on quality time.

About: What sets me apart from other sitters is my ability to combine dependable, detail-oriented care with a calm, patient approach that helps pets feel comfortable right away. I have hands-on experience with both puppies and senior pets, including basic puppy training support, leash manners, crate acclimation, and helping older pets with slower-paced routines or medication schedules. I take time to understand each pet’s unique needs and personality, and I keep communication clear and consistent so you always know how your pet is doing. My goal is not only to care for your pet, but to build trust, comfort, and confidence with every visit. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because I build my schedule around my visits and walks. I plan my mornings and afternoons specifically to allow plenty of time for feeding, walking, playtime, and check-ins without feeling rushed. Since I work from home I’m able to give pets consistent attention throughout the day. This lets me provide reliable care, maintain routines, and stay responsive to each pet’s needs. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I focus on maintaining their normal routines so they feel safe and comfortable. I follow all feeding schedules, walk times, and house rules exactly as instructed. I make sure pets get plenty of playtime, exercise, and affection, and I keep their environment clean—refreshing water, cleaning litter boxes, wiping paws, and tidying up any messes. I also pay close attention to their behavior and health so I can update you with regular photos and notes. My goal is to make your pet’s day feel as familiar and stress-free as possible while you’re away.

About: Hi, I’m Hailey! I’ve had a deep love for animals since I was little—always rescuing, adopting, or begging my family to let me bring home every creature I found (yes, even bugs and fish!). Caring for animals is second nature to me, and I’d love the opportunity to give your pets the same love and attention I give my own. My home is full of love and energy. I have an 12 year-old son who is gentle, playful, and absolutely adores animals. I also have a sweet 4 year-old who keeps to herself and doesn’t interact much but loves watching the pets. Rest assured, your furry (or scaly🤪!) friends will be safe, spoiled, and treated like family here. I’m currently looking to do something I genuinely love—helping care for animals—while also earning a little extra to support my family. Your pets will be in loving, responsible hands. I can’t wait to meet them! During the summer, I have open availability, so your pets will have around-the-clock care and attention. I’m home all day and rarely leave except for quick errands. During the school year, I still offer boarding and daytime care—I work very close to home and always come back during lunch to check in. My schedule is flexible and I’m committed to making it work for you and your pets. I’m available for boarding on both weekdays and weekends. Just let me know when you need care, and I’ll do my best to help however I can. Your pets will be loved, spoiled, and safe here—just like family. We have a big fenced backyard where dogs can safely run, play, or just relax. I also have friendly dogs who love company, but if your pet prefers space or alone time, I’ll make sure their needs are fully respected. I can easily crate your dog if needed or wanted, but we’re big cuddlers over here and love letting animals sleep with us or on the couch with if that’s something your pet enjoys and that’s something you are okay with. :)

About: Hi everyone my name is Hailey! I've grown up with dogs and I have such a soft spot for them! I own a 3 year old Shih Tzu who CAN'T WAIT to meet more friends! She loves it when doggos come to visit her. She's energetic and playful so she'll run and play with your dog all day, then sleep all night. She knows when it's time to relax. I love dog sitting because of how much my pup Luna loves playing. They keep each other entertained! I am allergic unfortunately 😞 So I can only accept HYPOALLERGENIC doggos. I prefer Small/Medium sized so they play well and get along with my dog here. I will take them on walks each day, as I'm already doing that for my doggo anyway! We also do frequent park trips, and rides to get pup-treats from coffee shops. I do not kennel any dog, they will roam freely around my house, and can use my doggy door to go potty in the fully-fenced back yard. They can sleep with me on my bed.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
