Misha is so happy and calm because Emily takes him for nice long hikes with his favorite dog friends. He no longer looks concerned at all when I leave for work, and he is so much calmer and happier. She is really the best if you have a high energy dog or one who needs a diet and exercise program.

About: I have been taking care of family/friend pets through the entirety of high school and afterwards. I have worked with a positive feedback trainer with my dog and have been able to apply those teachings to other behaviors in animals. I also know how to handle medications for dogs, from pills, intestine liquids, and topical creams. I absolutely adore big dogs and will totally let them be lap dogs. I love little dogs, even if they try to be ferocious creatures. I work a part-time job and am focusing most of my free time to medical concerns. I traditionally work in the early morning, 6-12. This leaves my afternoons free for the pets, but I can figure out how to care for them in the morning if necessary. Beyond that, I want to maintain active with the animals, playing, cuddling and taking for walks. I have 3 dogs of varying sizes (8, 25, & 100). They have different diets and activity levels, but all maintain their appropriate body weight. We have a fenced backyard for them to roam around in. The big dog is an anxious creature so he gets put in the crate when everyone leaves the house. I specifically worked with him on it and he has done wonderfully with positive reinforcement. I am able to transfer this knowledge to other animals, it might just take a few tries. Access to treats might help 😋. For walks, I can handle dogs big dogs and the ones that pull pretty well. I refuse to use choke chains and shock collars. If they are wearing one, I would like (with your permission) to switch it for a regular collar during the time of my stay.

About: I've been surrounded by dogs and cats my entire life, from energetic puppies to slow-moving seniors, and I truly love caring for them all. I currently have two doodles (a Goldendoodle and a Labradoodle) and a brown tabby cat. I’ve also grown up with Chihuahuas, Pugs, Cats, and other Goldendoodles, so I’m familiar with a wide range of sizes, temperaments, and needs. Beyond my own pups, I’ve pet sat for neighbors, including a big, lovable Husky named Snow and several elderly dogs who needed extra patience and care, especially those with mobility issues. I know how important it is to meet each dog where they are, whether that means active playtime or just quiet companionship and gentle support. I treat every dog like part of the family, and I’m always happy to follow specific routines, administer medication, or provide calm, attentive care for senior pups. I’m currently home for the summer from college, which means I have a very open and flexible schedule. Pet care fits perfectly into my daily routine because I have plenty of time and energy to give. Whether it’s early morning walks, midday drop-ins, or overnight stays, I’m available and committed to making your pet’s care a priority. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or yours, their safety and comfort always come first. I take the time to understand each pet’s routine, needs, and personality so I can create a calm, familiar environment for them. In my home, pets have a clean, cozy space to relax, with plenty of supervised playtime and attention. I keep all doors secure, avoid unsafe foods or toys, and always monitor interactions with my own friendly doodles. In a client’s home, I respect your space and follow all instructions closely—from feeding and medication to walks and bedtime routines. I make sure pets feel loved, safe, and stress-free while you're away. Communication is key, so I’ll always keep you updated with messages and photos so you know your pet is happy and well cared for.

About: I have grown up with many animals in my household including birds, rodents, chickens, cats, and of course dogs. I love working with animals and getting the opportunity to give them the love and care that they need. Once I moved out and started school, I decided to get my own dog, and it was the best decision I ever made! I have a three-year-old blue heeler who needs tons of attention and care and from this experience I have learned a lot about dogs and how to care for certain breeds properly. I am currently a college student on summer break looking to fill my time with an activity I will enjoy. I am free whenever needed any day or time of the week. I live in a duplex home and have a fenced backyard with a community dog park available. I do have one dog myself with an available crate if needed to crate your pet.

About: I’ve grown up around animals and have taken an active role in caring for different animals with various needs. Growing up I have been around Dogs, Cats, Fish, and Rodents. To this day I consistently care for my Dogs, Cats, and Chickens. I understand that animals require empathy and attention. I can handle large dogs down to small critters. I feel comfortable reading an animals body language and being in tune with their needs and vast environments. I work part time, my schedule is not absolute but I typically work Friday-Sunday about 7 hours each day. I am very available during the weekdays however I do have to complete my daily runs every morning. It may be easier to book me after 12:00pm but that is totally negotiable! My two dogs tend to be pretty obnoxious, so I would prefer to care for your pets in their own environment! I can easily navigate new environments and situations with your pets and would love to make them most comfortable.

About: In recent years I have gotten to know a few pups and absolutely adored all of them! I also took care of my mom’s golden doodle (Biscuit) since he was a puppy, so I have experience with high energy breeds who need lots of outside and play time. I am very flexible and can ensure that your pets needs are taken care of whether it’s a quick play date or long walk. About: Hi! I’m Annahi – a Boise-based animal lover with tons of experience and a big heart for pets! 🐶🐱 I'm a lifelong pet lover with several years of experience dog and cat sitting for friends, family, and happy Rover clients. Whether it's energetic puppies, senior dogs needing a little extra TLC, or shy kitties who need a calm presence—I love them all and treat every animal like family. As a Boise local, I’m familiar with all the best walking routes, parks, and pet-friendly spots. I’m comfortable with all breeds, sizes, and temperaments, and I always prioritize safety, communication, and making your pets feel happy and at home while you're away. Whether you need drop-in visits, long walks, or overnight care, I’ve got you covered. I’ll send regular updates, cute pics, and ensure peace of mind while you're away. Can’t wait to meet you and your furry friends! As an esthetician with a flexible schedule, I usually see no more than 4 clients a day and rarely work past 4 PM. This allows me plenty of time to provide attentive, consistent care for pets throughout the day—whether it’s morning visits, afternoon walks, or evening check-ins. Pet care fits naturally into my routine, and I love spending my free time with animals. I unfortunately could not watch your fur babies in my home — but I am a trusting guest. Plus you can almost guarantee you will enter your space neater than you left it!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
