Pet care experience
Big or Small, I can care for all.
I am a Wildlife Research Biologist and this is my side gig. It’s fun to meet new animals. 🌻 I grew up on an organic crop farm and am comfortable with almost all levels of animal care. I really enjoy the work, with the animals. I love to care for, study their behavior, and interact with animals. I am experienced and certified in herpetofauna care. I take on special requests after review and am fascinated with Animal Behavior. I use positive reinforcement training. 🪷 I will only be offering Drop In Visits and Walking services from now on. 🪼 l -Require- a 3 visit minimum with dog(s) as it is necessary for bathroom breaks. 🫧 I use Rover because it has Emergency Vet Insurance Coverage. If anything were to occur, I have a Honda HRV, with the middle section dedicated to my dogs or animal area. I would take the required action to ensure the animals safety while in my care. Rover takes 20%, and clients may tip up to stay rate 💎 Tip 100% goes to me for my services. 🪷 If you would like to leave a review after the service, I would appreciate it. This helps boost my page. 🌟 *>SEE AVAILABILITY SECTION FOR BOOKING DETAILS<*

Safety, trust & environment
My animals have many opportunities for stimulation within their own spaces and around the home. Your animal(s) will have all those opportunities in their home. It is important to have insightful and empathetic interactions with animals, especially in their space. If you have a handicapable, rescue, escape or running off history, previously feral, or animal(s) with emotional sensitivity, CPTSD, food anxiety, separation anxiety, aggression, etc. I appreciate honesty as it will be returned. It is most important to understand the animal(s) needs and the safest approach for all stakeholders. Fear is primary, aggression is secondary. If the animal(s) and I can connect that is amazing. If the animal and I can observe each other and they are comfortable in their space – that’s the main goal. Meet and Greet in person is REQUIRED for special needs animal(s). The animal(s) should have a collaborative interaction. I will observe their relaxed behavior in their space with their caretaker(s) present to determine if it is a safe situation.
Ratings and reviews
Kalli does a great job taking care of our 15-year old cat while we’re away. He requires medicine and lots of attention and she does a wonderful job in keeping him happy and healthy. I highly recommend her!

Kalli is super-reliable and goes beyond the basics. She really bonded with my cats and cared about them. She always sent me a zillion pictures that made me laugh and know my Boys were being well taken care of. She is consistent, kind and responsible.

Kamp Kallie was the best! Kallie took amazing care of our Golden Doodle, 2 bunnies, 6 chickens, and many backyard critters. She is very communicative and really strive to form a positive relationship with our anxious and protective boy. Thank you, Kallie!

Kalli was a great sitter for our 15-yr.old cat! She double-checked on dosage for one of his medications, and also followed up to be sure we had arrived home, offering to feed our cat again if we hadn't made it back as planned. Also, our cat still hangs out by the front door in hopes that she will come by and give him some cuddles!

Excellent care for my 2 cats while away for 10 days. Daily updates and pictures. Came back happy healthy cats and a clean home.

Kalli really cares about animals. She also has a lot of knowledge. For example, she explained that my cat was likely a certain mixed breed, based on his mannerisms and looks. Who knew he wasn't just a cat? She knew tricks to make them happy, which she shared with me and implemented without my prompting, like leaving tiny treats in secret places for them to find during the day. She is serious about what she's doing and I trust her completely. I only worry that my cats will begin to like her more than me.
