“With a last minute request, Dooku spent a weekend with Lindsay and her family. From the onset, Lindsay was very prompt with responses, she was very communicative, pleasant and positive. I expressed a concern about Dooku being susceptible to heat exhaustion because he is a black Lab with two coats and the days were very hot (100 to 105 degrees). Lindsay put me at ease and made it clear that she would take care of him, exercise him lightly and monitor his behavior. Knowing Lindsay and her family had a swimming pool, I cautioned her about Dooku’s love for swimming (it’s a lab thing 🐕🦺🐾) and that she would be challenged keeping him out of the pool. Throughout the stay, Lindsay sent me updates, photos and in no time at all, she informed me Dooku was swimming in her pool with her family and they were having fun! There is nothing like putting your cherished pup in the hands of someone else and knowing they are safe and well taken care of. Dooku will certainly be back and Lindsay comes highly recommended! The last place we boarded him he could not get out fast enough, he stank, and had his ears and tail tucked (tradional kennel not on Rover ) . At Rich's, I dropped him off and could tell he was very relaxed and happy to meet them. On pick up, he was happy! No tail tucking, no bad smell and happily exploring the yard as we left. No rushing to the car. Very pleased! I wished we lived closer, but are hoping to be able to use their service again.”

About: I am looking to get outside on walks as often as possible and I would love to take your pup with me! I moved here from Alaska a few years ago. I was the go-to dog sitter for many friends there year after year. I grew up with dogs, cats, turtles, and rabbits. I have kept and loved pets for my entire life. In 2011, I got my first rescue dog (as an adult). She was amazing and lived to be almost 15- years-old. She taught me a lot. We worked through aggression, and medical issues and ultimately geriatric care. Every dog has their own personality and things that make them happy or content and I am happy to do whatever I can to keep them comfortable, exercised, and content while you’re away. I have a flexible schedule. I am a bookkeeper and work from home/remotely. I have plenty of time to make sure your pets get quality time while I’m working and the flexibility of getting them out on walks as needed. I am happy to make your pet's day as normal as possible at their own home. I would love to know what that entails by meeting up before the overnight stay so that I can really get a sense for what your pet's needs are.
About: I have been taking care of pets since I was young and have pet sat for friends neighbors and family members. Along with pet sitting I have 2 pooches of my own one of which requires some extra special care. I have experience taking care of pets of all ages and sizes, my experience does not stop at dogs as I have taken care of cats, lizards, and chickens as well. About: Hello, my name is Atticus! I worked at a doggy daycare for over a year, have been pet and house sitting for neighbors and friends for over 3 years, actively volunteer at a cat shelter since 2017, and have been walking dogs since I was a kid. I have 5 pets (one dog, three cats, and one snake) of my own, making me well versed in caring for a variety of animals. I work a sporadically scheduled contracted job 1 to 3 Saturdays a month that I'm very committed to. However, these jobs have never gotten in the way of my care towards my own animals and the animals I have pet sat for. I don't pet sit in my own home, as I can't be sure that my animals will 100% get along with a client's animal. I have slept over in guest rooms of the houses I have spent over night in, as well as having only been in the house with the pets during the day, all per the client's request. Whatever one's house looks like or whatever features one's house may have, I am always sure to respect boundaries, clean up after myself, and make sure the house is left looking better than when I arrived.

About: I've had dogs my whole life, of many different breeds ranging from chihuahua to Great Danes. I love taking my own dog, that I've had since March 2021, to the dog park everyday. I love dogs, they bring me so much joy. I want to give them as much joy as they give to me. I currently work Tues-Thursday 7-3 and Fridays 8-3 and sometimes Mondays 8-3, I live 5 minutes from my job. Getting off at 3 gives me more time to play with dogs and give them all the attention!! I have a balacony on the 2nd floor. I have a fur baby of my own that would gladly play with your fur baby. I have a large dog cage that I could use for your fur baby if need be. Plenty of toys and treats. Only a short drive to the dog park. If in need of separation of my dog and your dog, that is completely doable. I would, of course, like to do a behavior test between the two dogs to make sure they would get along. Your pet might often meet my boyfriend’s dog who is also a huskey!

About: Hi, we’re a family of 5 in the lower Highlands area. Sadly, we lost our family dog, Friday, last year. He was a high energy husky mix. We miss him. However, we aren’t ready to commit to adopting another dog just yet. We’d love to watch yours though. We are right across from Harrison hollow and we’re an active, outdoor family. We have three kids: 8, 7, 5 years old. We’ll take great care of your pooch. My husband and I both work from home & love to get out on walks during the day. I love to go on long walks in the neighborhood or on a nearby trail. We have a back yard that is fenced in & room to run around in the back. We live close to walking trails and the foothills where we will take your dog on walks.

“Sitter ended up really sick the day she was supposed to watch Zuzu. Instead of cancelling, she asked if a family member could help watch my dog. I was fine with this, and her family member stepped in like a champ. I’m so thankful she found a solution and didn’t leave us in a lurch.”

“In our greet and meet interview our dog felt comfortable right away with the other dogs. We felt a relief as this is the first time we leave our dog with someone else that is not family or friend. We could see that is a caring family and he would be treated as part of it. During his stay, we got pictures showing us how great he was doing. That was something our family really liked.”
