Daily they sent updates on Hetty along with pictures and videos. I could tell Hetty was having as much fun at their house as I was having on vacation. About: As a long-time animal-lover, I’ll happily care for your dog while you’re away or bring them along for a walk or hike with my own pups. We currently have two dogs and cat so I have plenty of experience to make your fur baby feel safe, loved, and cared for ❤️ I work remotely and get to spend all day with my pups. We usually go out for two shorts walks a day and then a longer walk or hike after work. Whenever meeting a new pet, I give them the space to feel safe around me. I think it’s important to let them warm up to me on their own accord. In terms of physical safety, I always ensure that pets are securely harnessed and leashed before we head out.

“Had to find a last minute sitter for Blue during a roadtrip stop and Elise came through for us right away. LIFE SAVER. Blue can be a lot of energy and sometimes I feel guilty leaving him with someone because of that - but Elise was so welcoming. Blue practically jumped into her arms and she just laughed. Made me feel better immediately (and so welcomed). He played with some other dogs, she kept me updated throughout his time there, and I picked him up smiling, wagging his little tail, and tired out (which, YAY). Would book her again and again if I lived in the area!!”

About: I’ve dog-sat since I was 7 for neighbors and grandparents, and I’ve had dogs my whole life. I truly love animals, especially dogs, with my whole heart. I’ve fostered 9‑week‑old golden retriever puppies until they were adopted. When I moved to Boise for college, one of the hardest parts was not having my dog with me every day, caring for dogs has always been a huge part of my life so I am excited to spend time with your dog! I just graduated from Boise State, so my schedule is very open right now! I have plenty of time to check in on dogs, take them for walks, and spend quality time with them. I live in an apartment with a small balcony and direct access to the greenbelt, which makes on-leash walks very easy! When caring for pets in a client's home, I follow each dog's normal routine, whether that is walks, playtime, feeding, and, of course plenty of affection! I truly love dogs, so I will go the extra mile to make sure everyone is happy!

She took them on several long walks and my daughter's dog is a RELENTLESS player with balls and Chunli very patiently played with her for way longer than I would have! They each had different feeding instructions and different dog foods and she followed all the instructions to the letter. The dogs were picked up at the end of a long day happy and barely even noticing I was there. I would totally use Chunli again.”

About: I have cared for pets since I was 6 years old, started with a tabby cat named Tinker after Tinker Bell. Since then I’ve cared for multiple cats of my own (including litters), and 2 of the sweetest dogs until seniors. I also loved and cared for the cutest peach-faced love bird, named, but of course - Peaches. I believe animals were created for us to be reminded to enjoy each moment we are given. I also believe that they deserve the best care and love through excellent attention to health, play and grooming. I have a set schedule that I will stick to for the most part, with flexibility upon request. Occasionally I will travel as well with advance notice. About: I’ve always loved animals of all kinds. When I was a kid I used to be told not to pet certain animals because they were deemed “unfriendly”, most of them time people were shocked when their animal would warm up to me after making such a statement. Animals are much more intelligent and empathetic than some people give them credit for. Give me a choice between a room full of humans or a room full of animals, and I’ll take the room full of animals every time. I started pet setting when I was 12 and I’ve been doing it on and off ever since. I used to have a dog, sadly he passed from heart failure and I’ve just barely gotten to the point where I’m thinking about getting another. I miss his energy and miss taking him on hikes and long walks. Getting up early is not a problem for me. I live right by the greenbelt so we will be going on lots of walks! At the moment my schedule is very open. I have 2 cats who love dogs, but I know not all dogs love cats. I am more than willing to come over and dog sit and even bring you pup In during the times I’m there as long as your pup likes cats, otherwise me walking your pup and boarding at your house would be better suited for all parties involved.
About: I work from home so I can hangout with your dog and let them out throughout the day. I don’t have a backyard but go for lots of walks each day. There is a park a few minutes from me that has a great walking path. I also like to take dogs to the dog park and let them run around freely and meet new friends. The Greenbelt is a 5 minute walk and the foothills a 5 minute drive. I got a puppy, she’s now just over a year old. Her name is Eowyn and is a very energetic corgi. She loves dogs and people and wants to be the center of attention. Enoch, my corgi passed away a year ago. I raised him since he was 8 weeks old and trained him myself. Enoch traveled with me to 30 states and 6 Canadian provinces. I took Enoch with me everywhere I could. Everyone loved meeting Enoch and commented on his great temperament and how well trained he was. I miss Enoch everyday. I look forward to meeting your pup and spending time with them. I am back working in an office for now. I come home at lunch to pet and walk dogs. We go for several walks around the neighborhood each day. I do not have a fenced yard. So I will take your dog for walks around the neighborhood and to the parks. I am very dog friendly so they are allowed on the furniture and on my bed.
