“Meredith does an amazing job with my dog Luna. We absolutely are at ease when we drop her off for daycare with her dog Montana. We can’t wait to continue the sessions with her!”

“Lori was incredibly kind. She was attentive and did everything in her power to make my old pup comfortable. She helped comfort me with plenty of pictures and kind words. She is a shining example of what a wonderful person is and a true caregiver. I cannot thank you enough and I will recommend you to everyone I know!”

“Errin was amazing ~ such a gentle, welcoming personality who is great with dogs as well as people! I greatly appreciate her taking Moki with just a 2 day notice. It's nice to have a dog sitter at hand when I get tied up at work all day. It's also feels great to establish additional care when our friends aren't available during our travels. Thank you! Christa”

About: I’ve cared for cats, dogs, seniors, anxious pets, pets who need medication, and even the occasional chicken or lizard. I’m calm, intuitive, and good at reading body language whether a pet wants attention, routine, or space. I always follow established schedules and send thoughtful updates and photos so you feel at ease while you’re away. I live close to the Greenbelt, which makes walks and fresh air easy and consistent. I also have a membership at Clubhound, a supervised indoor dog park. For dogs who enjoy safe social play, this can be a great option for extra enrichment during walks or longer visits. Dogs participating must be up to date on vaccinations, and outings are always based on your dog’s comfort and personality. I plan my schedule carefully so visits aren’t rushed and your pet gets real quality time. I treat every home with respect, clean up after pets as needed, and make sure everything feels comfortable for them and for you when you return. I don’t just check in. I make sure your pet feels safe, seen, and genuinely cared for. My schedule is structured but flexible, which means I have reliable time for drop-ins, walks, and quality time with your pet. I plan ahead so their care isn’t rushed or squeezed in they get the attention they need. I treat every space and every pet with respect. I always clean up after myself and after your pet because animals make little messes just by existing (and honestly, that’s part of the deal). I’ll wipe down counters, pick up fur, clean up accidents whatever needs doing to keep your home comfortable for them and for you when you get back.

“Elise was great with our dog and clearly knew how to handle dogs. She walked him before briging him inside which is a good way to help a dog connect with someone new. She sent photos throughout the day of our dog relaxing at her house and hanging with other dogs. We'll definitely reach out again when we need help with our dog!”

About: I grew up on a ranch and raised baby animals which gave me lots of experience with raising animals of all ages. I'm currently home schooling my 4 year old so my schedule is pretty flexible! I'm homeschooling my 4 year old son so my schedule is pretty flexible and I'll have plenty of extra time to take care of your pets while you're away I have a large backyard that is fenced. I have 2 dogs to keep your pup company or I can keep them separated if needed. I can also aid in crate training
“Phedre has been amazing with our dog Millie. She’s done some drop in visits for us and watched her for the day currently and I feel so at peace knowing my dogs being taken care of so amazingly. We will absolutely be useing her again”

About: I am looking to get outside on walks as often as possible and I would love to take your pup with me! I moved here from Alaska a few years ago. I was the go-to dog sitter for many friends there year after year. I grew up with dogs, cats, turtles, and rabbits. I have kept and loved pets for my entire life. In 2011, I got my first rescue dog (as an adult). She was amazing and lived to be almost 15- years-old. She taught me a lot. We worked through aggression, and medical issues and ultimately geriatric care. Every dog has their own personality and things that make them happy or content and I am happy to do whatever I can to keep them comfortable, exercised, and content while you’re away. I have a flexible schedule. I am a bookkeeper and work from home/remotely. I have plenty of time to make sure your pets get quality time while I’m working and the flexibility of getting them out on walks as needed. I am happy to make your pet's day as normal as possible at their own home. I would love to know what that entails by meeting up before the overnight stay so that I can really get a sense for what your pet's needs are.
“Patrick recalled helped us out, watching Hank last minute during the Christmas holiday! He was super responsive with scheduling and updates during the day and made Hank feel right at home. 10/10 recommend!”

“I take my dog to Marie 10-12 days a month for almost a year now and she has always gone above and beyond for us. Such a sweet wonderful lady and my pup LOVES being there!!”

“Lilly had a wonderful time today with Cristopher and Rory! Thank you for being awesome! I highly recommend them if you need a responsible caring dog parent to step in for your fur baby’s needs. A+++”

About: I have been part of Rover for about 4 years and prior to that we welcomed pups of friends and families into our home. I took a hiatus for a bit after becoming a Mom but now back in action and our toddler LOVES having furry visitors over. I work from home full time which means a decent amount of flexibility in my schedule. For home stays your pal will always have company. We like to go for short and long walks depending on the weather and how much time we have but always make sure to get outside. For people wanting walks or drop ins, most times can be accommodated but may need some flexibility. We have a fully fenced backyard that has low risk for any escape artists (they'd have to be quite determined and find something we don't know about). However, I'll always check with you to make sure they're good outside on their own. Otherwise, I typically will stay outside with them just to be sure. Walks are always leashed and we only feed what is provided.
About: Hi! I'm Adam, a lifelong dog lover with years of experience caring for dogs of all kinds. I grew up surrounded by dogs and have always been the go-to person for friends and neighbors when they needed someone they could trust with their furry family members. Most recently, I shared life with my red heeler, Rusty, who was a bundle of energy with a huge personality. We had an incredible bond, and I learned so much about what it means to care for a high-energy, high-intelligence breed. Sadly, I had to say goodbye to him not long ago, but I’m so grateful for the time we had. He reminded me how much joy dogs bring to everyday life—and how much care and attention they deserve. Now, I’d love to help others by offering the same love and attention to your dog as I did for mine. Whether it's going for walks, playing in the yard, or just keeping them company while you're away, I’m here to make sure your pup feels safe, happy, and loved. Looking forward to meeting you and your dog! Pet care fits perfectly into my routine! I work from home, which gives me the flexibility to be present and attentive throughout the day. I'm able to take regular breaks to walk, play with, or check in on pets as needed. I also run some mornings, so if your dog enjoys a little extra exercise, I’d be happy to bring them along (with your approval, of course!). Whether it’s active time or quiet companionship, I can easily fit your pet’s needs into my day. When caring for pets in my home, they’ll have access to a small, fenced-in yard for safe outdoor time, and I live just a short walk from a wide-open park—perfect for walks, playtime, or just a good sniff around. I keep a calm, clean, and pet-friendly home where your dog can feel safe and comfortable. If I’m visiting your pet at your home or housesitting, you can count on me to treat your space with the same care and respect I give my own. I'm a very neat person, and I’ll always follow your pet’s routine closely to make sure they feel secure while you’re away. I also love biking and walking around town, so I’m happy to stop by for visits or longer stays depending on what your pet needs.
About: Hi, we’re a family of 5 in the lower Highlands area. Sadly, we lost our family dog, Friday, last year. He was a high energy husky mix. We miss him. However, we aren’t ready to commit to adopting another dog just yet. We’d love to watch yours though. We are right across from Harrison hollow and we’re an active, outdoor family. We have three kids: 8, 6 & 4 years old. We’ll take great care of your pooch. My husband and I both work from home & love to get out on walks during the day. We are both very active throughout the day. We have a back yard that is fenced in & room to run around in the back. We live close to walking trails and the foothills where we will take your dog on walks.
“Amber is very sweet and clearly a dog lover! She has a beautiful home and backyard big enough for her and your pup to run around in! She was accommodating with our schedule and communicated well throughout the day to let us know how our pup was doing.”

“Josh and Lindsay were great, they sent pictures throughout the day and my dog loved them. It was nice having the peace of mind that my dog was somewhere he was being loved and cared for.”

“Lilly Had such a great time with Michael & Wendy and family! They have a very loving home and will always treat your sweet pup like their own. They are also very knowledgeable about dogs and you can have peace of mind knowing yours is in their hands. We definitely can't wait to come see you guys again in the future. Many thanks to you !”

100% I would highly recommend Leif for your dog sitting needs. It was so comforting seeing Lilly very happy in his presence. Having such a nice area with beautiful trails and quaint neighborhood was such a nice treat for her and I can tell she enjoyed every minute of it! I would love to bring Lilly back again in the future for sure. Thank you for being so awesome Leif!

Victoria. Is. *amazing*. Super good with small dogs. Fantastic communicator--fast with everything needed, and sends pictures everyonce in a while without being overbearing. My pup literally runs up to her door every time I drop her off--and goes bonky to see Victoria, and I just don't know what a better recommendation could be than that.
