“This is my first time leaving my puppy with someone and I’m so happy it was with Lori. It was a last minute appt and it just felt good dropping my little girl off and picking and I picked her up with such a good feeling. Thank you Lori, I recommend leaving your pup with her and will use her again.”
“Deanna was great! Very kind and nice person ! She has a very cute and playful puppy too. She sent us a lot of pictures during the day and it was very easy to keep in touch through texts. We will definitely leave our puppy again with her !”
“Alex was quick to communicate from booking, thought the care and for pick up. Felt comfortable with Alfie in Alex and Rivers care. Would defiantly book again if they’re available next time we visit Boise. Thank you guys!!! Inga & Alfie”
“Sarah is my sister and has been a lover of all pets since the start. Every birthday she was asking for a new animal throughout our childhood she cared for rabbits, dogs, hermit crabs, cats, you name it. We were always around animals growing up and have a have strong love for them!”
“My dog loved her stay at Julie's! Julie's updates and photos showed how happy my dog was in her care, especially during the multiple walks along the river! By the time she came home, she was totally worn out from all the fun and attention. Can't wait to book with Julie again soon!”
“Ruby has watched my dog many times before! She is so good with her and I felt very comfortable letting her watch my dog. She made sure to give her lots of cuddles.”
About: I’ve taken care of so many animals in my life it’s hard to keep track! I’ve had ferrets, bunnies, MANY dogs, a horse and 5 cats! I used to watch my neighborhoods pets all the time in highschool as well! I have worked at a humane society prior to my move across the country! I have trained many animals, and taken care of various pets and illnesses! I currently don’t work, I’m at stay-at-home so I can give my undivided attention to your furry family members for any amount of time that they need! I have a medium sized chug that’s fully UTD on all her vaccines, crate trained, and friendly with animals! I have a fenced in yard as well for your pet to roam and play in!
“My senior dog spent the day with KC. He was very quick to respond and flexible. When we picked him up, they were out gardening and enjoying the fresh air.”
“My dog loves going to daycare and I love getting all of the updates throughout the day. I can tell he gets a lot of attention and play time, which is all you can ask for!”
“Tess is amazing! Responsive, kind, caring, organized, and always thinking of my baby Rosie’s best interest! I will definitely be visiting again—it’s the most fun Rosie has had in a long time!”
“Marie is super reliable, patient, and kind, as is her collie Indy! My pup spent daycare with them about 4 days a week from when she was 3 months old to her first birthday, and I always knew she was in good hands! Thank you for being a great surrogate dog mom!”
“Elise was great with our dog and clearly knew how to handle dogs. She walked him before briging him inside which is a good way to help a dog connect with someone new. She sent photos throughout the day of our dog relaxing at her house and hanging with other dogs. We'll definitely reach out again when we need help with our dog!”
About: I have fostered 5 dogs in the span for 5 years - all very different in temperament. I follow positive reinforcement training, though when your dog is with me we can focus more on making sure your pup feels comfortable and has some fun! We can cuddle, play fetch, and have some dog play time. Also, we live right on a lake and walking distance to the Green Belt, so your pup can have plenty of outdoor time. I know one of the most important things when sending your pup to a Rover is the peace of mind and knowing what is going on. I'll send you plenty of pictures and videos so you know your pup is having a good time. Let me know what your dog likes, dislikes, and triggers are. Ill do my best to keep it in mind and make sure that they feel safe and comfortable! I do prefer crate trained dogs - they will only stay there overnight/during bed time and no more than 3 hours during the day (only if I have to step out to grocery shop, etc). I work from home Monday, Thursday, and Friday so you can ensure your dogs have a human at all times! We go out in the morning, lunch, after work, and before bed time. We live in a dog friendly apartment complex with lots of green space and even a lake in the backyard. We also live walking distance to greenbelt.
“To whom it may concern: I have witnessed many different types of pet owners. I’ve seen abuse, neglect, and malnourishment. I have also seen owners who treat their animals like family, whose dogs are well trained, well natured, and well mannered. Jessica is someone who not only has a family member of a dog. He is well trained, natured, and mannered. Jessica took a two year old golden retriever/lab mix in for a week. I only had him for a week before leaving him with her. When I got him back he knew sit, stay out of the kitchen, and to not enter doorways until I do first. Unfortunately, my dog destroyed a couple items that I had to replace. I would rate her a 10/10.”
“Imelda was great! Sent us updates throughout the day & took good care of our fur babies. We will Definitely be reaching out again.”
“Just the sweetest! Updated me with so many photos and I could tell Flynn had a great time❤️”
“Stephanie cared for our Dane mix for an entire month at her home! She texted photos and updates regularly which gave our family peace of mind. She took care of him as if he were her own dog. She made sure that he adjusted well to a new environment and accommodated a meet & greet. He was a happy camper! I would recommend her services to other pet parents out there, and I would gladly hire her as a pet sitter again during our future travels.”
“We use Tiff every time we go on out of town for the weekend. She follows our dogs schedule and even spends time with them so they don’t get lonely while we are away. Highly recommend her for all pet services!”
About: I have been fostering puppies and kittens for 3 years now. I’ve loved watching them grow, socialize, and learn tricks in the time I have them. I had two dogs of my own; one was a pit bull boxer that my family rescued from an abusive home. We gave her the love and attention that she deserved and she spent the rest of her life very happy. My other dog was a pug, he was solely my responsibility. I fed him, bathed him, played with him, and walked him. As he got older he became blind and deaf, I accommodated for his needs as they changed. I am currently in school part time on Tuesdays and Thursdays at NAU. My classes are from 11-3:15. I also work at snowbowl on the days that I don’t have school, on these days I am working from 7 am to anywhere from noon to 4:30. I like to follow the routine that the owner has in place to allow the pet to feel comfortable with what they know. If this means walking without a leash or using a crate then that is the routine I will stick with. I do not have a fence or backyard so I will primarily go to a park or a walk.
About: I’ve taken care of dogs for a very long time! I used to work at a dog day care and I LOVED it! I’m a sophomore in college right now and my major is pre-vet so I can go into the veterinary field. So I’ve worked with animals and learned about the proper way to treat and care for them! I’m working part-time right now, I work 20-25 hours a week usually, but I always have time before or after work to help out with checking in with the dog or staying after my shift is done! I will always make sure the doors are closed and locked and the gates are shut before letting the dog outside. If I’m allowed to take the dog for a walk, I will always make sure I have a leash!
