“Cannot recommend Erin and Cory enough. My first Rover experience and they made me feel so at ease. Perfect yard set up complete with pool, sticks to eat (ha), and a time out/shy dog separate area. They managed outdoor play time with rest breaks to manage the dogs in the heat. Play supervised but dogs allowed to romp. My mini golden doodle came home loved on, exhausted, and happy. They have such positive great energy the dogs respond to. Was a fantastic experience”

“Kristen was able to take my puppy last minute and she was wonderful. She sent me multiple updates and pics/vids. My puppy came home happy and exhausted”

“We and our puppy had great experience with Lori. She is responsive, easy to communicate, and caring and loving to our puppy. Due to mishaps at our home in the morning, we missed the drop off time and had to reschedule and Lori was kind and flexible and willing to accomodate timing change. Thanks, Lori!”

“Alex took such great care of my puppy! Several walks, lots of play time, and rest time as needed. Alex kept me updated throughout the day and was very thorough on the rover app tracking walks, potty breaks and more. I would love to have Alex watch Stella again if needed!”

About: I have worked in board and train schools, foster homes and I have been a pet documentarian for several years as well. It is within my nature to connect with animals on their level which seems to enable me to work, even with the most timid of dogs. I am a writer, so naturally my work time flexes with each assignment. I have an active lifestyle. Dog walking in particular is one of my favorite pass-times to clear my mind between work. I live on a spacious lot in northwest Boise with an enclosed back yard and nearby trails that I frequently walk or hike. With the nature of my work, I am primarily home or nearby at all times.

“Veronica did an amazing job watching our dog. Communication was great, so I felt really good leaving our pup with her. I highly recommend Veronica!!”

“From the moment I met Alisa I knew she was going to be perfect! Her home is so very pet friendly, safe and loving. My 10wk old Molly has a best friend in Vinny who is Alisa’s munch loved dog. My little Molly does very well @9-11hrs a day. Alisa is very attentive to Molly and educated in every way about dogs habits, breeds and praising good behavior comes naturally to Alisa. We are blessed to have Alisa!!”

About: I come from a household of animal lovers who always adopted and housed feral animals. From dogs to cats to birds. For fun, I’ve always looked after friend’s pets when they were away. I work a job that allows me a lot of free time and I figured what’s a better way to spend that time that to go walk a dog here and there for some nice companionship. I live in a pretty secluded area that’s fenced off. I’m also pretty good at making sure pets don’t run out of the house if that were to be a possibility.

About: I’ve had dogs in my life for as long as I can remember. Growing up, we always had two dogs at home, and I took pride in being the one to care for them. Daily walks—at least three times a day—became part of my routine, along with regular trips to the dog park. Over the years, I’ve trained my dogs to do their business outside and to interact well with other dogs and people. Dogs have always been a big part of my life, and I genuinely love spending time with them. Now, I have my own dog, whom I rescued three years ago, and he’s truly a joy. He’s incredibly sociable and loves being around other dogs. It would make me so happy for him to have some company every now and then! I work from home, which allows me to dedicate to caring for dogs. I’m also free on weekends, making it the perfect time for pet sitting. I truly love taking care of them! I treat all dogs with a lot of love and patience. I try to give them the best care. it's very important to give them love and care.

“Elise was great with our dog and clearly knew how to handle dogs. She walked him before briging him inside which is a good way to help a dog connect with someone new. She sent photos throughout the day of our dog relaxing at her house and hanging with other dogs. We'll definitely reach out again when we need help with our dog!”

“Amber did a wonderful job taking care of Millie. Millie was fixed less than a week ago and needed a low stimulus day, which Amber provided. Very happy with Amber, and didn’t have to worry when I was away!”

About: I've taken care of dogs since I was 9. I'm better suited to larger active dogs, than handbag dogs. Happy to go on long walks or runs if your doggo is into that sort of thing. I work from home part-time at the moment, in a house with gated backyard. I live very near Camel's Back park, so very handy to walk or run your dog there. I have a fenced back yard with no other pets. The dog can come in the house, but will have to stay off the furniture and bed. I can also come to your house to care for the dog.

About: I grew up learning from multiple dog trainers and have been able to work with and own dogs/cats of all ages and breeds. I understand the importance of maintaining an animals health mentally and physically. This helps me to take care of pets that haven’t been away from their owners before or need special care. I work full time so if your pup can’t be left alone for at least 4 hours or is not house trained please consider someone that can accommodate your needs better. I currently work mornings and nights. I feed breakfast around 6am and let them go potty before and after. I work either 6:30am-1pm or 1pm-7:15pm. My husband has less of a set schedule so there will be days they’re only home alone for 4 hours, the longest is 8 hours. One, if not both of us, will be home all day on weekends. I do have a doggy door to the backyard to let them go potty all day. I promise to give your babies my full attention when I’m home. I love taking morning and afternoon walks. If they like the water, I live right by a river with great spots to jump in and cool off anytime, especially in the summer heat. I treat all dogs that come into our house as if they are our own. We have a fenced yard but I still have no problem going to dog park to get out all of their pent up energy. If we can’t make it to the park we’ll enjoy a walk around the neighborhood. I am slowly building my inventory of enrichment feeders and toys to give them some extra mental and physical stimulation.

“Josh and Lindsay were great, they sent pictures throughout the day and my dog loved them. It was nice having the peace of mind that my dog was somewhere he was being loved and cared for.”

“Our dog had a great time with Amber and Jasper! She was shy at first, but was zooming in the backyard in no time. ?? Great updates throughout the day were so appreciated.”

About: I've had dogs all my life, and I haven't met a breed, size, or personality I haven't liked yet! I've lived amongst many types of dogs, and am equally comfortable laying down the law and breaking up a scuffle or two if need be, or spoiling the crap out of your prince or princess with lots of rubs and treats! I believe a tired dog is a happy dog, and I love being able to give pure happiness to my canine friends with something as simple as a walk, a hike, a swim, or a game of fetch! And cuddling up with them on the couch afterwards isn't so bad either... I look forward to meeting your pooch soon! Find me on Wag as well!

About: I’ve taken care of pets for as long as I can remember and adore them just as my own. Growing up my family did dog training for basic training as well as military and police dog. I have always been the go to sitter when my friends, family, neighbors go out of town since I am always home. I am typically a homebody so I am home when I’m not working. Our mornings are spent feeding and a little play time, afternoons on walks/park, and more playing in the evenings. Anywhere my dog goes, your dog will too! I am able to provide leashed walks when leaving the apartment. I also have a fur baby of my own and a toddler son who loves pets just as much as I do. If comfortable with it, I also have several parks to take them to where they can run around without a leash for extra exercise.

Leif H.
“Your dog will be in excellent care with Leif! As a lifetime dog lover, Leif grew up with a family dog. He was responsible for daily care such as feeding, watering, exercise, grooming, administration of medications and of course, affection. Leif is kind and nurturing and always the first one to find a dog in a crowd to pet and appreciate. He is responsible and dependable and enjoys a healthy, active and outdoor lifestyle in which a dog would thrive. His home is clean, safe and secure, as well as close to parks, recreation, and many dog friendly establishments. Leif has a general awareness of both physical and mental needs for dogs on an individual basis. I have left my dog in Leif's care and would choose Leif for all my pet sitting needs in the future!”
