“Erin was amazing. She took such great care of our 6 animals. We were able to enjoy our first vacation in years. The report cards were great as were the pictures. She really loves animals and puts a lot of care into her time with them.”

“Danica has been very flexible and understanding of our schedule. And our dog loves her! Danica played with Scarlett and gave her lots of love. We will be using her again!”

“Liz and Anna were great with my pups while I was away for a few days. They had great communication and provided updates and photos which helped me be able to enjoy my time away without anxiety and worry. I highly recommend them.”

“Adrianna was great watching my cat Cooper for a week. Cooper is a very nervous and shy guy when it comes to almost anyone but myself, so I was prepared to hear about him hiding quite a bit. Adrianna was very respectful to give them that space he clearly wanted, but also did her best to make him get comfortable around her. About half way through her visits he finally came around which made me feel better about leaving my kitty; and based on the photos, my kitty loved spending time with her. Overall great communication and attentive to Cooper’s needs! Would definitely feel comfortable having Adrianna watch Cooper again!”

“Kelsey was so great with my kitty. She took such good care of her and spent much quality time with her such that when I got back it was like I never left. Totally recommend her services.”

About: I'm the go-to pet-sitter for people whose friends all have pets. I've been dogsitting consistently in single- and multi-pet households since 2014, establishing a personal, trusted rapport with pets and their families. I've worked with pets young and old, engaging in regular exercise, medication administration, and plenty of belly rubs. I've been the proud owner of pets throughout my life, from a lovable German Shepherd to a spunky Yorkie. And I've watched a variety of breeds, sizes, and ages (senior pets are my current niche), from high-energy Brittanys to homebody New Foundlands, mini- and full-sized doodles, Boston terriers, poodle mixes, bully mixes, and cattle mixes. I live in Boise's Winstead Park neighborhood but have worked with clients in Eagle, Meridian, and Barber Valley — just ask! I'm available for low-risk meet-and-greets with your pets. I'm a remote worker with an active lifestyle (rock climbing, circus arts, etc.), so being away at a job doesn't get in the way of quality pet care. I'm available 7 days a week on short- and long-term notice, and rarely gone from the home more than a few hours at a time. I fully believe that keeping pets in your home is the safest, most comfortable option for them while you're away. I treat your home with the utmost respect, caring for pets and plants, bringing in mail, feeding fish, locking doors and gates, and completing other household responsibilities. Responsive communication is a big priority for me, so I respond quickly and check-in regularly with photos, videos, and messages while you're away. My friends, family, or partners are never in your home. Similar to being in the outdoors, I operate with a leave-no-trace attitude. I clean up after myself, wash towels and bedding, and run dishwashers before departure. In most cases, you'll never know I was there, except for a happy pet whose thrilled to see you when you get home. I do not offer pet-sitting or dog-sitting services in my home at this time. ⭐More reviews!⭐ "Skylar was absolutely great and would highly recommend! One of our dogs is doodle who is anxious and shy. Skylar was so patient with him and really took her time getting to know him at his speed, which we greatly appreciated. Skylar was also super prompt, had amazing communication regarding updates on our dogs, and took great care of our house and plants. We will for sure be using her again!" - Taylor M.

“Second time booking Alinda for our cat. She is great! She sends photos and we can tell that our cat is well taken care of when we come home. Thank you!”

About: I have taken care of dogs as long as I can remember. My family has always owned pets! I am not a stranger to pet sitting for family or friends and I love it! I do not start my full time job until late September so I am free whenever needed! I understand how difficult it can be to schedule vacations with pets so I am here to help! :) I am not able to board pets. I can provide all the attention pets need! I can take them for long walks (Or short ones if little legs are a part of the equation!), play with your pet in your yard, ensure pets are receiving their meals on time, and help your pets feel less lonely whenever families are gone!

“Elisa took care of my 2 old cats multiple days. She followed the instructions I left and went beyond that with extra effort. She reported through Rover each day she visited and included pictures. My cats seemed very happy with her and even let her pet them! I will definitely request Elise if we travel again.”
“Renee is wonderful! Super reliable, efficient, and seems to genuinely enjoy spending time with our kitties. She has become our go-to cat sitter for every time we are out of town!”

About: I understand that pets are family, and I treat them with the same patience, kindness, and respect I would want for my own. Whether your dog loves long walks, playtime, or simply having a calm companion, my goal is to help them feel happy and secure. I also prioritize clear communication, providing regular updates and photos so you can have peace of mind knowing your pet is in good hands. I am available most weekends, as well as Tuesdays and Thursdays, which allows me to provide reliable and consistent care. Whether it's a walk, drop-in visit, or spending quality time with your pet, I make sure they receive plenty of attention, exercise, and companionship. Your pet's safety, comfort, and well-being are always my top priorities. I prefer caring for pets in their own homes, where they can remain in a familiar environment and stick to their normal routines. For dogs, I love getting them outside for walks and adventures, including walks along the Boise Greenbelt when appropriate. I understand how important trust is when someone is caring for your pet and entering your home. I am dependable, respectful of your space, and committed to providing regular updates and photos so you can have peace of mind knowing your pet is happy, safe, and well cared for.
“Melinda was excellent watching my 2 pups! She was on time - showed up when she said she would and stayed the amount of time stated! She took very good care of my pups - including my 14 year old Abby. She took time to throw the frisbee to my full of energy 3year old Winston. I would definitely use her again and highly recommend!”

About: I have experience caring for all kinds of small and big animals, including pets, farm animals, and even wild animals with conservation organizations. I love learning all the details of what constitutes the best care for each animal! I'm pretty good at basic training with dogs and puppies, and even kitties!! I give kitty and doggy massage and (reiki) energy, animals can feel our energy for sure! Sometimes I can intuitively pick up on little changes that could really help them. I'm a self-employed entrepreneur. I teach some yoga therapy clients, and have art healing sessions at different times throughout the week. These are short sessions, so I would only be away from the pet-sit house for a few hours, and planned ahead of time, but also able to be flexible as needed. I'm able to accommodate morning, midday, or evening times for all care needs. Occasionally I'm able to take a pet-sit dog on a walk with a walk client if everyone gets along, which I'm pretty good at facilitating actually, but I always ask first, and never push for it. I like to really check in with each animal and give them plenty of specialized attention. Especially at first, it takes a little time for them to build trust with a new person! I also like to keep to the routines that they expect. My cat gets treats upon waking, and before we go to bed, she likes the consistency. She likes variation in play-time and exploration, and I aim to help her build confidence in approaching new situations, she has been an amazing adventure cat and companion! I learn each pets favorite spot to chill, and when they do and don't want attention. I listen for, and learn their cues, and communication.

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Winstead Park
We’ve hired Phedre multiple times and she’s always taken wonderful care of our dogs. This last visit one of our dogs got sick and she rearranged her day to take her urgently to the vet, she kept us in the loop, and really went above and beyond to make sure our pup was ok. Highly recommend!

Renee always goes above and beyond! In this case, the cats got out at the end of her visit because we had mistakenly left the cat door open, and she went out of her way to come back to our place the following day to make sure they both got in safely and closed them in. Grateful for her careful attention to our kitties’ needs!

Our cat Rosie is super shy. She will get stressed if strangers try too hard to befriend her. Caitlynn was amazing at matching her presence to Rosie's comfort level. Caitlynn provided enough presence so Rosie could know someone was there without stressing her. Caitlynn was prompt and attentive, and communicated extremely well. We knew exactly what was going on in the house as well as with Rosie. Caitlynn was professional and caring, and I highly recommend her.

I highly recommend Donovan. He watched after my mom‘s dog and my dog. He is very caring and the dogs enjoy his company. He is reliable, and I like his pictures and messages that he sends about the pets during his visits. It helps me know that they are being well taken care of.
Drew was very committed with our boys. Our boy Banjo can be difficult leashing up. Both the dogs were apprehensive of a stranger but Drew was sweet, git on the floor with them and spent extra time. Banjo really never cooperated but Drew was still able to get him out to potty. I highly recommend Drew if you’re in the Boise area!

Kelsey was wonderful! The daily updates about our cat and her willingness to help water our garden were so helpful. She even alerted us immediately to a water leak in our house while we were gone and we appreciate her communication so much. We will definitely have her back in the future!

Mikayla and Ryker were great and did an amazing job taking care of our cat while we were out of town! Our flight was canceled coming back into town and they stopped by last-minute to make sure he had everything he needed another night. Highly recommend if you are looking for a trustworthy sitter for you pet.
