“Let me start off by saying that the booking was short notice on my part and I was going to be gone for two full weeks and my poor cat Puddin would not be able to go with. Meghan accepted my request and came over the day before I was leaving for a walk-thru and to meet Puddin. Meghan was attentive and asked questions. I felt comfortable leaving Puddin in her capable hands. Meghan sent daily updates and kept me informed of all things Puddin-related. She even grabbed a couple packages and my mail for me! Puddin tends to be a true scaredy cat most times and hides quite a bit. Meghan made quick work of winning him over in short order. The benefit of this was the multitude of excellent photos she was able to send out! Meghan was definitely the right person for Puddin. She will likely be the right person for a lot of pets! About: I am very energetic and genuinely happy to see dogs and cats everywhere I go. I have a 13-year old cattle dog mix, 5-year old cat, and 1.5 year old pug. I love saying hi to all types of animals when I’m out and about. My older dog walks pretty slow for a short distance while my younger pup loves going on runs with me. I enjoy hanging out with cats whether that be on the couch or playing with their toys. I’m currently working full-time, but I’m usually free when I get off work at 3:30pm to stop by and check on your pet. I like to stay active so if I’m not out walking you can find me taking a yoga class. I’m very respectful of you and your pets home and will only go into areas only when necessary to take care of your pets. I don’t leave a mess and will clean up after your pet if accidents or spills happen when I am taking care of them.

She arrived on time, and from the photos, I could see the cats were curious and slowly getting to know her. She also made our homecoming so great...all the trash was taken out, she vacuumed up the kitty litter that they always spill out, and it was clear that they were happy campers. About: I have experience caring for all kinds of small and big animals, including pets, farm animals, and even wild animals with conservation organizations. I love learning all the details of what constitutes the best care for each animal! I'm pretty good at basic training with dogs and puppies, and even kitties!! I give kitty and doggy massage and (reiki) energy, animals can feel our energy for sure! Sometimes I can intuitively pick up on little changes that could really help them. I'm a self-employed entrepreneur. I teach some yoga therapy clients, and have art healing sessions at different times throughout the week. These are short sessions, so I would only be away from the pet-sit house for a few hours, and planned ahead of time, but also able to be flexible as needed. I'm able to accommodate morning, midday, or evening times for all care needs. Occasionally I'm able to take a pet-sit dog on a walk with a walk client if everyone gets along, which I'm pretty good at facilitating actually, but I always ask first, and never push for it. I like to really check in with each animal and give them plenty of specialized attention. Especially at first, it takes a little time for them to build trust with a new person! I also like to keep to the routines that they expect. My cat gets treats upon waking, and before we go to bed, she likes the consistency. She likes variation in play-time and exploration, and I aim to help her build confidence in approaching new situations, she has been an amazing adventure cat and companion! I learn each pets favorite spot to chill, and when they do and don't want attention. I listen for, and learn their cues, and communication.

About: I am primarily on this app to be of service to our dog training clients when they go out of town. I am sometimes available to take other pets, but not always. I understand that each animal has their own personality and quirks. I am able to care for pets of any age. I have experience administering medications as well. I work full time at a dog training facility. I spend most of my free time taking care of animals. I am able to bring pups to work with me during the day, so I can potty and let them run around on my breaks throughout the day. I will either bring your pup to my house or go to yours! Whatever your preference is. I do have two dogs of my own, both are friendly to all different types of pets. We also have a cat, so my dogs know how to behave around them (not chasing, bothering, etc.) As I mentioned above, I work at a training facility and will be able to bring your pup to work with me instead of them being home alone during the day. I have lots of experience crate training dogs, and can help continue or start that training for you.

About: I've taken care of cats and dogs over the years since I was a child. I have done drop in visits, boarded dogs and am good with following rules/directions from the owner. I have had dogs my whole life! I also was in 4-H and have trained dogs. I know some tricks to teach your dog. But mainly my role on rover is, I want your dog to think of my home as a sanctuary and have them have fun and feel loved on their get away. I have always loved animals and they are in safe hands. I have 2 fur babys as well, a pug and a brussel griffon who love dogs and love to play. My schedule is extremely flexible being a small business owner. I never leave the house for work until 9:30 am or later in the day. I am up at 6 am for my dogs. I have lunch break to come check on the pups and work close by to come home for breaks. Since my business is appointment based, I only work when I have appointments booked in my calander. I also will block out time to go check on the dogs. I always am off work Sundays and Mondays and occasional Saturdays. I have a big fenced yard. I can crate your dog if needed when I am not home. I also have a pug and brussel griffon to keep them company who love other dogs. :)
