“With a last minute request, Dooku spent a weekend with Lindsay and her family. From the onset, Lindsay was very prompt with responses, she was very communicative, pleasant and positive. I expressed a concern about Dooku being susceptible to heat exhaustion because he is a black Lab with two coats and the days were very hot (100 to 105 degrees). Lindsay put me at ease and made it clear that she would take care of him, exercise him lightly and monitor his behavior. Knowing Lindsay and her family had a swimming pool, I cautioned her about Dooku’s love for swimming (it’s a lab thing 🐕🦺🐾) and that she would be challenged keeping him out of the pool. Throughout the stay, Lindsay sent me updates, photos and in no time at all, she informed me Dooku was swimming in her pool with her family and they were having fun! There is nothing like putting your cherished pup in the hands of someone else and knowing they are safe and well taken care of. Dooku will certainly be back and Lindsay comes highly recommended! About: I've worked as a vet tech assistant and kennel assistant in a boarding facility where I gave oral medications, dealt with difficult pets, trimmed nails, the works. I've been pet sitting since high school and have owned dogs and cats my entire life. I don't own cats at the moment but I'd love to help take care of yours to get my fix in while I work a full time monday-friday job. About: I grew up with dogs and have always been around them! My dad does rover and I have helped him take them on walks, and fed them. I have a pretty flexible schedule and I am home most days with the occasional errand run. I love to workout as well so walking or running with the dogs would be great! I will give the pups plenty of attention and care that they need. I will also be flexible with the owners needs for their pet.

About: I'm a softy for animals in general, especially dogs! I have a 9.5 yr old boxer that is getting old but gets along with any dog. I have dogsat my buddies 2 boxers multiple times, up to 6 weeks at a time. 3 boxers is a handful. Apollo is my 3rd dog and I have watched other friends dogs many times also. I have also looked after cats and birds on occasion. I'm not a trainer but I've trained my own dogs. I currently have some free time, so I'm available most times pretty quickly. I do some work online, but take my dog for a walk twice a day. Depending on the type and size of dog I would consider watching them at my house. My boxer is getting older and losing his eyesight so I have to be cautious of his health at times. I can be available between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. 7 days a week I have a fenced yard. There's a doggy door from the house to the fenced backyard that they can come and go to potty or just play. My boxer loves doggy friends and sharing his treats. I'm an animal lover and I give them plenty of attention because it also brings me joy. I enjoy dogs and will walk them or play with them as desired. I'm also available to just stop by and let them out to use the bathroom. I know these are our pet's homes and I love and care for them because I would want someone to give my dog that loving and respect!
About: I’ve been pet sitting since 2020, there is almost always someone at our home so no matter our plans our furry guests always have company. My young son loves to play tug, fetch, or chase and gets a kick out of helping with food and water. We are a mostly relaxed house until someone gets post dinner zoomies. I am on a hybrid work schedule, but there is almost always someone at our house to hang out with our 4 legged guests. We live right next to a park where we enjoy taking long walks, playing fetch, and just getting out and about at least once a day. We have a fully fenced backyard that has low risk for any escape artists (they'd have to be quite determined and find something we don't know about). However, I'll always check with you to make sure they're good outside on their own. Otherwise, I typically will stay outside with them just to be sure. Walks are always leashed and we only feed what is provided.

About: I have walked and boarded dogs for 10 years. I am new to Rover. I love taking dogs for walks and getting them some exercise and enrichment. I work 9-5, with time for walks during lunch, before work, and in the evenings. Weekends can include up to three walks a day, including longer walks. At home, or with clients, dogs get a good watchful eye to ensure they don’t get into anything they shouldn’t. With an adventurous pup of my own, I am careful to remove any “escape opportunities”
About: I’ve been pet sitting for friends and family for over 10 years. I’ve taken care of dogs, cats, parrots, fish, and even ducks. I care for each animal as if it were my own, and prioritize not only their physical health but also their emotional! Animals are deeply emotional and are affected when their parents go away, so I promise to provide excellent care of your fur babies. Rest assured you have a reliable and loving person that you can trust. I work full time during the week, but that doesn’t stop me from taking excellent care of your pets. They will be seen at a minimum of 3 times per day, if not more. I like to see them before work, during lunch, and when I get off. I prefer to stay overnight to make sure they’re okay. If they need more attention, I can certainly accommodate! My job has the flexibility of letting me work from home if needed. We prefer to let Koda free roam around the house. We don’t have a fenced in backyard but are always taking her out on the leash. She is lower energy for a Doodle and easily bored, so we make sure to give her toys and treats! She loves watching kids movies too so we make sure to have those on while we’re not home. Whether your pup is at my house or yours, they will go out at a minimum of 3 times daily. If they need to be crated or separated from my Koda, we can make that happen too! I will adjust anything in my schedule or routine to accommodate your fur baby. ❤️ We allow dogs on the couch and bed because we love snuggling!

I worked at a doggy daycare for over a year, have been pet and house sitting for neighbors and friends for over 3 years, actively volunteer at a cat shelter since 2017, and have been walking dogs since I was a kid. I have 5 pets (one dog, three cats, and one snake) of my own, making me well versed in caring for a variety of animals. I work a sporadically scheduled contracted job 1 to 3 Saturdays a month that I'm very committed to. However, these jobs have never gotten in the way of my care towards my own animals and the animals I have pet sat for. I don't pet sit in my own home, as I can't be sure that my animals will 100% get along with a client's animal. I have slept over in guest rooms of the houses I have spent over night in, as well as having only been in the house with the pets during the day, all per the client's request.
