About: I’ve had dogs in my life for as long as I can remember, and I’ve been lucky enough to grow up with 3️⃣ of my own! One of my dogs was my best friend for 16 years, so I also have firsthand experience caring for a senior pup and understanding the extra patience, attention, and care they can need. 💆♀️ I’m the person who will absolutely stop what I’m doing to say hi to a dog walking by. 😂 At my other job, I get to see dogs throughout the day, and it’s genuinely one of my favorite parts of working there! I love getting to know each dog’s personality, whether they’re energetic and ready to play 🎾 or would rather spend the afternoon getting spoiled with cuddles 💤 . I’ll give your pup plenty of attention, playtime, walks, and love while you’re away, and I’ll make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for just like you already do. 🐾🐶🩷 I work full-time, but my schedule leaves me with a lot of time to dedicate to pups outside of work. I’m usually completely free on Sundays and Mondays, and most weekdays I’m home by 3 PM (sometimes as early as noon!). I love having something to look forward to after work, whether that’s a walk around the neighborhood, some playtime, or simply giving a pup some extra attention. My schedule allows me to be flexible, and I’m always happy to work around your dog’s normal walking routine rather than expecting them to fit into mine. 🐾 I’m mainly here to help with dog walks, and I really enjoy getting outside and having a pup tag along! I’ll make sure their walks fit their energy level and personality, whether they want to run around and explore or take a slower walk and sniff everything along the way. I’m also happy to follow any routines or preferences you already have for your dog. I’m also totally down to do quick drop-ins if your pup just needs someone to stop by, let them out, give them some food or water, or spend a little time with them. I’m not looking to do long house-sitting visits, but I’m happy to make sure your pup is safe, happy, and taken care of while you’re gone! 🐾💕

About: I recently graduated with my MBA and, while I figure out what comes next professionally, I’m currently home full time. That means I’m able to spend plenty of time with my dogs and any dogs staying with me rather than being gone at work all day. I’ve always had dogs in my life, starting when I was a child, and I truly cannot imagine my life without them. Everyone knows that person who walks into a room and says hello to the dogs before the people. That’s me. I’m absolutely that person. I currently have four dogs of my own, so dogs are a pretty big part of everyday life in our house. I have a Pomeranian, a Husky mix, and two Chocolate Labs. My dogs love other dogs, and having dogs ranging from a little Pom to large, energetic dogs has given me plenty of experience with different sizes, personalities, energy levels, and needs. My Pom is 17 now and has definitely earned the right to take life at his own pace. These days, that often means being carried around by me rather than walking everywhere himself. He also has his own smaller fenced area within our large fenced yard so he can enjoy being outside without having to deal with the bouncing energy of the bigger dogs. If a visiting dog needs a little more peace and quiet outside, they are welcome to share his area too. Not every dog wants to be in the middle of the action all the time, and that’s perfectly fine here. For the dogs who DO want to be in the middle of the action, there is plenty of room in our large fenced yard to run, play, explore, or just hang out. And if your dog needs daily walks, I’m your girl! Mine insist on them, so walking is already part of my everyday routine. My Pom makes it about half a mile, my Husky gets around 2.5 miles, and my two Chocolate Labs need at least 3 miles. I walk all four separately, so everyone gets individual time and a walk that actually fits their needs. Adding another walk or two for a visiting dog is no problem, whether they need a long walk to burn off some energy or a short leisurely one to sniff everything along the way. Your dog will fit right in. Inside, there are dog beds and blankets throughout the house, although our dogs are also welcome to sleep with us. Basically, they sleep wherever they decide they are most comfortable. I want a dog staying with us to feel comfortable too, so I’m happy to follow what they are accustomed to at home as much as possible. I also take mealtimes seriously. Our Husky and Pomeranian eat separately, while our two Labs are comfortable eating together. Visiting dogs are typically fed separately from our dogs so everyone can relax and enjoy their meal without competition or unnecessary stress. Depending on the dog, that may be as simple as eating across the room or having a baby gate between them. I adjust based on the individual dogs involved because their comfort and safety matter more than having one rule that every dog has to follow. Some people might say my dogs are spoiled rotten. I prefer to say they are extremely well loved, and that is exactly how I treat the dogs who stay with me. I’m comfortable caring for dogs with all kinds of personalities and needs, from seniors who prefer a quieter pace to younger dogs with energy to spare. I’m also comfortable administering medications and caring for dogs who may need a little extra attention. Whether your dog is staying for daycare or boarding, I know how important it is to feel confident about the person caring for them. When a dog stays with me, they aren’t treated like a guest I’m watching. They’re treated like part of the family until their family comes back to get them. I am currently home full time, so I have lots of time to spend with my dogs and yours! My life is sincerely built around the happiness and comfort of my babies, and yours when they are with me. Our days already include individual walks, outside time, playtime, meals, plenty of attention, and, of course, lots of lounging and snuggles. Because I’m home, I also have the flexibility to adjust my routine to what your dog is used to. If they normally eat at a certain time, need multiple walks, take medication on a schedule, need more frequent potty breaks, or simply want someone nearby, I can accommodate that. Your dog doesn’t have to adjust to my schedule. As much as possible, I’ll adjust my schedule to theirs. We have a large, fully fenced yard with a smaller fenced area within it for little dogs or dogs who just want some peace and quiet. That way, if the big dogs are running around playing and being their usual goofy selves, the smaller or less energetic dogs don’t have to worry about getting run over! Visiting dogs are welcome to use whichever area makes them most comfortable. We also have multiple dog doors, so dogs can come and go as they need or want rather than having to wait for someone to let them outside. Since I’m home full time, I’m here to keep an eye on everyone throughout the day. I pay attention to each dog and what makes them comfortable. Dogs can be together when they enjoy each other’s company, but I also have plenty of space to separate them when someone needs a break. Meals are typically separated as well, either with physical space or a baby gate, so everyone can eat comfortably and safely without worrying about another dog getting into their food. My own dogs range from a 17 year old Pomeranian to a Husky mix and two Chocolate Labs, so I’m very accustomed to managing different sizes, ages, energy levels, and needs under one roof. I don’t expect every dog to behave or interact the same way. I’d rather adjust the environment to the dog and make sure everyone feels safe and comfortable. If I’m caring for your dog in your home, I’ll follow your routines and house rules. My goal is to keep things as familiar as possible for your dog while you’re away, because sometimes the best way to help them feel safe is simply to keep their world as normal as possible.

About: I’ve been pet sitting for friends and family for over 10 years. I’ve taken care of dogs, cats, parrots, fish, and even ducks. I care for each animal as if it were my own, and prioritize not only their physical health but also their emotional! Animals are deeply emotional and are affected when their parents go away, so I promise to provide excellent care of your fur babies. Rest assured you have a reliable and loving person that you can trust. I work full time during the week, but that doesn’t stop me from taking excellent care of your pets. They will be seen at a minimum of 3 times per day, if not more. I like to see them before work, during lunch, and when I get off. I prefer to stay overnight to make sure they’re okay. If they need more attention, I can certainly accommodate! My job has the flexibility of letting me work from home if needed. We prefer to let Koda free roam around the house. We don’t have a fenced in backyard but are always taking her out on the leash. She is lower energy for a Doodle and easily bored, so we make sure to give her toys and treats! She loves watching kids movies too so we make sure to have those on while we’re not home. Whether your pup is at my house or yours, they will go out at a minimum of 3 times daily. If they need to be crated or separated from my Koda, we can make that happen too! I will adjust anything in my schedule or routine to accommodate your fur baby. ❤️ We allow dogs on the couch and bed because we love snuggling!
“Hatcher did a great job with my Alfie! He walked him around the neighborhood while I was at work, and he sent me several pictures of him, which really made my day! He was highly communicative throughout the whole process, which I really appreciated.”

“Rachel is so awesome! She is reliable, communicative, and best of all she loves my dog! I don’t have to worry at all going to work every day because I know my pup is in good hands :)”

“This was my first time using the Rover app & I will absolutely be a returning customer. Tatum was punctual & so sweet. She sent the cutest pics of my pup and even washed his feet off when they got home from their walk. Thank you!”

“Our dog,Buster, loved Jolynne! She was very patient with him when he wasn’t sure about going out in the rain. Today he was waiting at the door for her even though I home ! I will definitely use her again!”

About: Hi there, fellow pet lovers! I’m Cynthia, and I’m so glad you stopped by... I live in the beautiful North End of Boise and have been pet-sitting for years, caring for dogs and cats! Consider me your trusted ally who is dedicated to enriching your pet's daily experience while simplifying yours. I grew up with Saint Bernards, so handling large dogs is second nature to me. Our home was always full of animals—strays, rescues, and the occasional “foster fail” who became family. We made room for whoever needed it, and that mindset has stayed with me ever since. I’m comfortable with a full range of pet temperaments, whether they’re anxious zoomers or mellow seniors who just want a calm presence and some TLC. Got a skittish kitty? A bossy little lion? No worries, I speak fluent feline! With a background in cat enrichment and behavior modification, I have a knack for earning the trust of even the most standoffish and secretive cats. Whether your furry companion is shy, bold, or somewhere in between, I can read kitties well, and I always bring a calm, grounded energy that helps them feel safe and secure. I’m also borderline obsessive (in a good way) about secure entries and exits. If your pet is a known escape artist, trust that I’ll take special care not to let them out! Whatever kind of care your best friend needs, I’m happy to help with drop-in visits, walks, meds, belly rubs, playtime, you name it. Also, please ask me anything if you can't find it in my profile! I'm happy to discuss extra services that you or your pet needs to feel loved, safe, and happy while you're away! I am recently retired early from the tech industry and now have time to give back to my community and neighbors! I'm available 7 days a week, and for overnights if needed and if the fit is right! Contact me anytime, and we can coordinate something that works, whether it's just hanging out with your pet or having a fun adventure! I've lived a lifetime with pets and rescued animals, so for me they are family. I treat all living things with respect, understanding, and care. I'm always thinking ahead of potential scenarios when planning any outings, making sure I'm prepared with extra leashes, treats, and/or a strong understanding of an area and what to expect.

About: I believe a house isn't a home without a dog! I grew up around dogs of all breeds and temperaments, and lovingly cared for my own best dog friend Hobbes for 11 years. Looking forward to meeting your furry friends! I work part-time as a healthcare professional. I often have multi-day stretches of time off, and am happy to take time out of my day to give your pets the love and attention they need. I'm flexible, reliable, and adaptable. Melinda is great! Our stranger wary pup warmed up to her really quickly and it is such a relief knowing they are being taken care of while I'm at work. She leaves a detailed note about how their walks went and even indulges our toy obsessed dog. So happy we found her!

Brittaney has been walking my rescue dog since the week I brought her home two months ago and she loves her! Brittaney is extremely reliable and flexible. She is an excellent communicator, and is always happy to help with whatever I am trying to accomplish with my new dog. I am so lucky I found her right off the bat as my regular dog walker!

Evelynn is amazing! She has been walking our dog 3 days a week for the past few weeks. She is so friendly, reliable, responsible, and an excellent communicator! Most importantly our dog loves her! We appreciate her flexibility with our requests and her support! We highly recommended her and feel lucky to have her supporting our pup when we can’t be there!
