About: I have always been a cat person. Since I was a babe. Since our first family cats. The Gray one that we named 'Smog' used to try to lick my face! Even though we grew up with mostly outdoor/indoor cats and I have even befriended some semi-feral 'barn cats'. When I got *my* cat, I was very slow to begin to let her outside freely. I understand that some cats are better suited to being indoor only cats. I know some of the 'tricks' to making good friends with cats, and one is just for them to see you enough times in a calm state that they feel they can trust you. I deeply care about helping cats feel safe and nurtured. Once I know their personality, I am really good at knowing if something different or difficult is going on with them. I have made some really beautiful connections with different cats and seen amazing abilities from them when befriending new people.

About: From am early age I was introduced to animals and loved them, I currently have 2 cats of my own. I ran into the issue of not being able to board my cats anywhere when a pipe burst in my apartment and we had to relocate for a bit and it made me realize that while many hotels and boarding options are certainly dog-friendly, we seem to have forgotten to consider that some of our feline friends need a place to spend the night too, so I decided to offer overnight boarding for cats! I'd love to help make someones vacation a little easier on their feline friend while giving them peace of mind that their kitty is not locked in cage 24 hours a day. We also would be very happy to host small canine buddies who tolerate cats well Please send a message if you have any questions! I work outside of the home part-time but have a very flexible schedule, and will always be present at the home during your pet's stay. Our home is located in a cul de sac with a large backyard, with a tall fence all around, and one back gate with a latch. Please let us know if you do NOT want your pet to have access to the backyard and I am happy to oblige, and please also let us know if they are a flight-risk 😂. They would basically hang out with the cats and I and have free range of main living areas and their own quiet room next to the living room, and/or our room for overnights if your pet does not like to sleep alone. I have no problem waking up every few hours if your pet is very young or very old and needs to go potty often, just let me know their schedule. There is no smoking in the house.

About: Hi! My name is Brooke and I have petsitted for people for almost 20 years. I love animals of all sorts of shapes and sizes. I hope you'll consider me for watching your babies and here is why. I've administered shots and medicine and up until 2 years ago I had pets of my own. I lost my heart dog Murphy on NYE of 22 in surgery, got diagnosed with Cervical cancer myself that March, mid-April had a radical hysterectomy. A week before my birthday that year I also lost my cat to a dog or coyote attack. Murphy(dog) was 10, Velcro(cat) was 15 and my lil shadow. I lost all that is light and love that year. I cannot have kids, and I dearly miss my fur babies nothing will ever replace them but I do have a big heart. I am tired of going home to an empty house. I want someone to argue over the last bite with and whether or not cheese really is a dessert. I am ready to get another dog, but first savings!!! I've always had savings for myself and my animals because life can go sideways. So that's why I'm here! I'm currently working two part time jobs to help pay the bills and what I get here will go straight to savings so I am properly prepared to get a pup of my own. I would love nothing more to love on your animals while I prepare for my own. And possible into the future as well. I am currently only available for overnight petsitting at your home I am working 2 part time jobs and gone for about 8 hrs a day for said jobs except maybe one day a week. About: I have been taking care of dogs since I was 13. The first dog I had to care for was my own, when I got my dog Dash my dad said we could keep her if my siblings and I took care of her. She is now 10 years old and the greatest responsibility I have taken care of in my life. I also started dog sitting for friends and family not long after. I have taken care of older dogs who need medication and help with their mobility. Puppies who have been from 1 month to 1 year old, whether it was stopping by afterschool to let them out while potty training or keeping them active. I’ve taken care of dogs from complicated backgrounds who need more time to open up. One of the dogs I regularly take care of was a rescue who didn’t like men and was scared of new people I would spend time with the family in their home so the dog could get used to me before i would take care of him on my own. Understanding a dogs personality and being respectful of their space is always important to learn to establish a connection with a dog. Adapting to their routine makes for an easy transition for both dog and owner. I enjoy caring for dogs and getting to know them, there’s nothing greater then having a dog by your side. I am more compatible with pets who can go a few hours without supervision. Currently I am home for break from college and have most of my schedule free. In the summer when I come back to Boise I work a part time job. So being able to leave for a few hours works the best for me. When taking care of someone else’s pet I always ask as many questions as possible, based on both the pet and owner. Learning their routines, personalities and quirks helps me best adapt to the lifestyle both pet and owner share. When taking care of a pet in their own home being respectful and responsible is a must not only do I have to earn the pets trust but also the owners. I am being trusted with someone’s beloved pet and want to make sure it’s easy for both parties. I have a chiwinne named Dash who is my pride and joy. She loves to lounge in the sun, in warmer weather she will always be outside in our fully fenced backyard where we can see her. She likes to go on a small walk each day and play inside with her toys. Dash would rather stay laying in her bed or the couch all day if she could but we always try to keep her healthy and safe. Being part winner dog she still has a long spine, we always try to make sure she’s careful from not hurting herself.

About: I have been taking care of family/friend pets through the entirety of high school and afterwards. I have worked with a positive feedback trainer with my dog and have been able to apply those teachings to other behaviors in animals. I also know how to handle medications for dogs, from pills, intestine liquids, and topical creams. I absolutely adore big dogs and will totally let them be lap dogs. I love little dogs, even if they try to be ferocious creatures. I work a part-time job and am focusing most of my free time to medical concerns. I traditionally work in the early morning, 6-12. This leaves my afternoons free for the pets, but I can figure out how to care for them in the morning if necessary. Beyond that, I want to maintain active with the animals, playing, cuddling and taking for walks. I have 3 dogs of varying sizes (8, 25, & 100). They have different diets and activity levels, but all maintain their appropriate body weight. We have a fenced backyard for them to roam around in. The big dog is an anxious creature so he gets put in the crate when everyone leaves the house. I specifically worked with him on it and he has done wonderfully with positive reinforcement. I am able to transfer this knowledge to other animals, it might just take a few tries. Access to treats might help 😋. For walks, I can handle dogs big dogs and the ones that pull pretty well. I refuse to use choke chains and shock collars. If they are wearing one, I would like (with your permission) to switch it for a regular collar during the time of my stay.

About: I’ve taken care of my own dog for 9 years. I have also pet sat for friends and family for about 8 years which has included walking, bathing, house sitting, and general care. Typically I am free whenever you need me! I usually do 1-2 drop in’s per day if my clients are out of town, but I can always do more if requested! “Elise was so wonderful with our 3 year old Irish doodle and our 5 month old toy schnauzer puppy! It was our first time boarding them with anyone who isn’t family, and we weren’t sure how they’d do. I’m sure we were more concerned than we needed to be, but she was so great communicating with us beforehand and reassuring us. She was so sweet with them when they met her, and we weren’t surprised at all that they warmed up to her so quickly. We could tell that she really cares, and it gave us so much peace of mind while we were gone for over a week. When we went to pick our pups up at the end of our trip, they were healthy and happy, and we were so appreciative of all her efforts. We would definitely rebook with Elise and also recommend her to friends in search of a pet sitter. Thanks, Elise!”
“In our greet and meet interview our dog felt comfortable right away with the other dogs. We felt a relief as this is the first time we leave our dog with someone else that is not family or friend. We could see that is a caring family and he would be treated as part of it. During his stay, we got pictures showing us how great he was doing. That was something our family really liked.”

She has a warm, caring presence, and her home feels just the same — with a great yard for the pups to play. We felt totally at ease leaving them with her. “Bobbi and her family definitely loved on our Mochi the way she’s loved by us! They treated her like their own family and made sure she really was well taken-cared of. We were felt assured that we were able to enjoy our vacation without worrying about Mochi. She only takes one dog at a time which is what we looked for so our Mochi had all the attention. And she definitely had! Lol. She sent us pictures and videos of Mochi while we’re gone that made our hearts full. We’ll definitely book her again next time!”
