“With a last minute request, Dooku spent a weekend with Lindsay and her family. From the onset, Lindsay was very prompt with responses, she was very communicative, pleasant and positive. I expressed a concern about Dooku being susceptible to heat exhaustion because he is a black Lab with two coats and the days were very hot (100 to 105 degrees). Lindsay put me at ease and made it clear that she would take care of him, exercise him lightly and monitor his behavior. Knowing Lindsay and her family had a swimming pool, I cautioned her about Dooku’s love for swimming (it’s a lab thing 🐕🦺🐾) and that she would be challenged keeping him out of the pool. Throughout the stay, Lindsay sent me updates, photos and in no time at all, she informed me Dooku was swimming in her pool with her family and they were having fun! There is nothing like putting your cherished pup in the hands of someone else and knowing they are safe and well taken care of. Dooku will certainly be back and Lindsay comes highly recommended! “Renee was spectacular with my cat, Sunny! I am the type of person who struggles greatly leaving my animals for any amount of time. Luckily I found a gem in Renee, who stayed at my house for 2 weeks and took the absolute best care of my cat, my yard, and my home. She watered my grass, my garden boxes, planter boxes; took my trash bins out twice for pickup; collected my mail. Renee also took amazing care of my cat, Sunny. Even though I missed my girl while I was gone, I honestly never worried about her care or wellbeing because I know she was in good, mature hands. Renee communicated with me every day and sent pictures and videos of Sunny playing with toys, going for walks on her leash and harness, and sleeping on her lap. Upon my arrival home, Renee had left me a letter about her stay, laundered bed sheets and towels, and cleaned the house very well. About: I am primarily on this app to be of service to our dog training clients when they go out of town. I am sometimes available to take other pets, but not always. I understand that each animal has their own personality and quirks. I am able to care for pets of any age. I have experience administering medications as well. I work full time at a dog training facility. I spend most of my free time taking care of animals. I am able to bring pups to work with me during the day, so I can potty and let them run around on my breaks throughout the day. I will either bring your pup to my house or go to yours! Whatever your preference is. I do have two dogs of my own, both are friendly to all different types of pets. We also have a cat, so my dogs know how to behave around them (not chasing, bothering, etc.) As I mentioned above, I work at a training facility and will be able to bring your pup to work with me instead of them being home alone during the day. I have lots of experience crate training dogs, and can help continue or start that training for you.

About: I’ve been pet sitting since 2020, there is almost always someone at our home so no matter our plans our furry guests always have company. My young son loves to play tug, fetch, or chase and gets a kick out of helping with food and water. We are a mostly relaxed house until someone gets post dinner zoomies. I am on a hybrid work schedule, but there is almost always someone at our house to hang out with our 4 legged guests. We live right next to a park where we enjoy taking long walks, playing fetch, and just getting out and about at least once a day. We have a fully fenced backyard that has low risk for any escape artists (they'd have to be quite determined and find something we don't know about). However, I'll always check with you to make sure they're good outside on their own. Otherwise, I typically will stay outside with them just to be sure. Walks are always leashed and we only feed what is provided.

About: Hello, my name is Atticus! I worked at a doggy daycare for over a year, have been pet and house sitting for neighbors and friends for over 3 years, actively volunteer at a cat shelter since 2017, and have been walking dogs since I was a kid. I have 5 pets (one dog, three cats, and one snake) of my own, making me well versed in caring for a variety of animals. I work a sporadically scheduled contracted job 1 to 3 Saturdays a month that I'm very committed to. However, these jobs have never gotten in the way of my care towards my own animals and the animals I have pet sat for. If they need more attention, I can certainly accommodate! My job has the flexibility of letting me work from home if needed. We prefer to let Koda free roam around the house. We don’t have a fenced in backyard but are always taking her out on the leash. She is lower energy for a Doodle and easily bored, so we make sure to give her toys and treats! She loves watching kids movies too so we make sure to have those on while we’re not home. Whether your pup is at my house or yours, they will go out at a minimum of 3 times daily. If they need to be crated or separated from my Koda, we can make that happen too! I will adjust anything in my schedule or routine to accommodate your fur baby. ❤️ We allow dogs on the couch and bed because we love snuggling!

Getting off at 3 gives me more time to play with dogs and give them all the attention!! I have a balacony on the 2nd floor. I have a fur baby of my own that would gladly play with your fur baby. I have a large dog cage that I could use for your fur baby if need be. Plenty of toys and treats. Only a short drive to the dog park. If in need of separation of my dog and your dog, that is completely doable. I would, of course, like to do a behavior test between the two dogs to make sure they would get along. Your pet might often meet my boyfriend’s dog who is also a huskey!

“Our dogs had a great time. We had boarded them before doing rover and they came back covered in pee and very nervous. When we picked up the dogs from Rich they where very happy and excited. They really helped us out as one of the dogs doesn't do very well with other animals and they made it so that he could be outside for more than just walks.”
