“With a last minute request, Dooku spent a weekend with Lindsay and her family. From the onset, Lindsay was very prompt with responses, she was very communicative, pleasant and positive. I expressed a concern about Dooku being susceptible to heat exhaustion because he is a black Lab with two coats and the days were very hot (100 to 105 degrees). Lindsay put me at ease and made it clear that she would take care of him, exercise him lightly and monitor his behavior. Knowing Lindsay and her family had a swimming pool, I cautioned her about Dooku’s love for swimming (it’s a lab thing 🐕🦺🐾) and that she would be challenged keeping him out of the pool. Throughout the stay, Lindsay sent me updates, photos and in no time at all, she informed me Dooku was swimming in her pool with her family and they were having fun! There is nothing like putting your cherished pup in the hands of someone else and knowing they are safe and well taken care of. Dooku will certainly be back and Lindsay comes highly recommended! She took them on several long walks and my daughter's dog is a RELENTLESS player with balls and Chunli very patiently played with her for way longer than I would have! They each had different feeding instructions and different dog foods and she followed all the instructions to the letter. The dogs were picked up at the end of a long day happy and barely even noticing I was there. I would totally use Chunli again.”

About: I had a dog walking business in middle school and high school. I spent several years in Boise volunteering with Boise Bully Breed and fostered a rescue greyhound before that. I have my own dog, a Great Dane/Border Collie Mix and did formal group training with him through the humane society, so I'm very recently refreshed on training skills (leash skills, impulse control) and have experience handling large dogs on leash. Work office hrs Mon-Fri but my partner is currently home full time so someone is home most hours. I usually bike, run, hike, or go to the dog park with my own dog 2x per day. My partner is home during the day and helps with care. I have a very small fenced backyard. My dog is 4 years old and sociable with most dogs. He will play as much as your dog is willing but is also ok to chill. I can bring dogs on walks on the greenbelt or out to foothills if desired or to the park or dog park. We have an off leash area near the river that we frequently go to. Dogs are allowed on furniture.

About: I have walked and boarded dogs for 10 years. I am new to Rover. I love taking dogs for walks and getting them some exercise and enrichment. I work 9-5, with time for walks during lunch, before work, and in the evenings. Weekends can include up to three walks a day, including longer walks. At home, or with clients, dogs get a good watchful eye to ensure they don’t get into anything they shouldn’t. With an adventurous pup of my own, I am careful to remove any “escape opportunities”
