About: Life-long dog owner, lover and trainer. My Aussie, Huck, is an experienced and friendly host. We host one guest dog at a time. I work from home. The yard is fenced, and there’s a handy window for watching the neighborhood. We enjoy hosting and caring for social dogs, and help them feel part of the pack while you're away. There’s walking, running and playing catch, and car rides for those who like them. I work part time from home, and have lots of time for dogs. I typically take them with me on short errands if they enjoy that. We like our guest dogs to feel like they’re staying with a friend, and keeping the routine they’re used to as much as possible. Ideally, our house is a place they’d be happy to come back to.

“Shannon continues to showcase her knowledge on how to handle sensitive animals. Our little Moonshine can get anxious and moody while we're away, but we were able to trust that she would be cared for and loved by Shannon until we returned. Thank you again!”

About: I love dogs and I know that most dogs are happiest with their families. I do everything I can to help guest pups integrate into our little dog pack and feel at home while their families are away. I’ve been dogsitting for quite some time now and have experienced all shapes and sizes. I love them all and enjoy getting to know their inner personalities and puzzling out what makes them content. We strive to have so much fun that the dogs are too tired to feel too sad. About our family/home: my wife and I both work from home and have flexibility to care for pups during the day. We have a fenced yard with a dog door and are close to the river, the foothills, a friendly dog park, and a quiet neighborhood for walking. River, 8, is a retriever mix who loves hikes in the foothills and the occasional game of chase or wrestle, but is pretty mellow at home. Theo, 1, is a golden retriever who loves all dogs and people. Both dogs have lot of experience playing with other dogs and hosting dogs in their home. We typically only take dogs from one household at a time unless we have indication that the dogs will get along well. We’ve also found that we all do best if a guest dog has a warmup period. Therefore, any dogs looking for a stay longer than 48 hours will be asked to do a trial run beforehand (a day of daycare or a night of boarding). This helps us ensure a peaceful and safe environment for all dogs and has the added benefit of helping a dog feel more comfortable when they return to a familiar place for their longer stay. Because we recently added a new puppy to our home, we are more selective than normal in which dogs we can board. Dogs with a history of aggression, excessive barking, or other behavior problems are not a good fit at this time. We do offer house-sitting on a limited basis. If you have a uniquely challenging dog or specific circumstances, reach out and we will see if we can make something work! We look forward to getting to know you and your dog. My partner and I both work from home, so we have a lot of flexibility. Dog needs come first in our home and we are happy to take work breaks to play or exercise. We have a fully fenced backyard with a dog-door. We live two blocks from a park that is great for fetch. Our neighborhood is great for walks.

“First time with Augusta and it was a great experience. She was responsive to messages and was able to accommodate my pets physical needs. Would definitely recommend!”

“Elyse did great in watching our cats. I appreciated her attention to detail and intros to ensure our gremlins’ safety. She was prompt and on time. Thanks, Elyse!”

“Stephani was fantastic! We were able to book on short notice over the holidays. She worked with our schedule. She not only checked in our our kitties everyday but she sent snaps to both my roommate and I on request so we could see our fur babies in real time. On top of that, she kept close tabs on one of our cats that started getting sick when we left. She even took him to the vet and gave him meds throughout the rest of the stay. She was friendly, trustworthy, flexible, and went above and beyond for our pets! I would 100% book again and recommend Stephani to others!”

“Thanks again Mark! Best dog sitter in Fayetteville!”

“We have used Alinda numerous times and she is wonderful to work with and great with the dogs! She makes leaving our pups easy, know they are well cared for.”

“Kensey was so great! I booked her for drop in visits to feed my old kitty and clean his litter boxes. She always sent photos during her visits which gave me peace of mind during my time away. I would definitely recommend her for your next trip.”

“Nicole was a wonderful sitter to our two cats! She sends really detailed updates and notices if anything else around the house needs attention while you're away. Would definitely recommend Nicole!”

About: I have approximately 17 years of experience working with animals, starting from their earliest stages. I’ve cared for puppies as young as eight weeks old, often providing shelter and socialization until they found their forever homes. Throughout the years, I’ve raised and trained a few dogs of different ages, developed a deep understanding of their needs at every life stage. I have extensive experience with senior dogs, including administering various types of medications and health aids with care and precision. Above all, I am patient, kind, and full of positive energy. Happy and healthy dogs are my specialty, and I take pride in creating a nurturing and joyful environment for every pup I work with! 🐶 I currently work part-time as a flight attendant, and I believe the absolute best way to spend my free time is by playing with and walking your beloved doggos! 🐶 I also adore cats—honestly, all animals—and would be honored to care for any pet you entrust to me, providing plenty of love, stimulation, and attention. Caring for animals is one of my greatest passions, and I have so much love to share. I prefer morning and evening walks, but as the seasons change, I’ll be available for more midday care as well. Whether it’s a playful outing or a comforting visit, I’m here to make sure your pets feel happy, loved, and well cared for! I have a fully fenced backyard in the Northend and two friendly pups—one biggie, one smalls—who are always by my side and ready to keep your fur baby company! 🐶 If your dog prefers solo time or doesn’t always play well with others, no worries—I’m flexible and happy to create a personalized experience with plenty of one-on-one attention and fun activities.

“Meg was absolutely wonderful with our puppy! She was great about sending tons of photos and videos, practiced all of her training commands, and went above and beyond to practice walking techniques! Kaya loves her and we absolutely recommend using Meg for all your dog needs!”

“Sabrina has watched my cat twice now and does such a fabulous job! She sends me lots of pictures and updates and even changed out my smoke detector battery that was beeping!”

About: I've taken care of dogs since I was 9. I'm better suited to larger active dogs, than handbag dogs. Happy to go on long walks or runs if your doggo is into that sort of thing. I work from home part-time at the moment, in a house with gated backyard. I live very near Camel's Back park, so very handy to walk or run your dog there. I have a fenced back yard with no other pets. The dog can come in the house, but will have to stay off the furniture and bed. I can also come to your house to care for the dog.
