“With a last minute request, Dooku spent a weekend with Lindsay and her family. From the onset, Lindsay was very prompt with responses, she was very communicative, pleasant and positive. I expressed a concern about Dooku being susceptible to heat exhaustion because he is a black Lab with two coats and the days were very hot (100 to 105 degrees). Lindsay put me at ease and made it clear that she would take care of him, exercise him lightly and monitor his behavior. Knowing Lindsay and her family had a swimming pool, I cautioned her about Dooku’s love for swimming (it’s a lab thing 🐕🦺🐾) and that she would be challenged keeping him out of the pool. Throughout the stay, Lindsay sent me updates, photos and in no time at all, she informed me Dooku was swimming in her pool with her family and they were having fun! There is nothing like putting your cherished pup in the hands of someone else and knowing they are safe and well taken care of. Dooku will certainly be back and Lindsay comes highly recommended! About: I have always been a cat person. Since I was a babe. Since our first family cats. The Gray one that we named 'Smog' used to try to lick my face! Even though we grew up with mostly outdoor/indoor cats and I have even befriended some semi-feral 'barn cats'. When I got *my* cat, I was very slow to begin to let her outside freely. I understand that some cats are better suited to being indoor only cats. I know some of the 'tricks' to making good friends with cats, and one is just for them to see you enough times in a calm state that they feel they can trust you. I deeply care about helping cats feel safe and nurtured. Once I know their personality, I am really good at knowing if something different or difficult is going on with them. I have made some really beautiful connections with different cats and seen amazing abilities from them when befriending new people.

About: From am early age I was introduced to animals and loved them, I currently have 2 cats of my own. I ran into the issue of not being able to board my cats anywhere when a pipe burst in my apartment and we had to relocate for a bit and it made me realize that while many hotels and boarding options are certainly dog-friendly, we seem to have forgotten to consider that some of our feline friends need a place to spend the night too, so I decided to offer overnight boarding for cats! I'd love to help make someones vacation a little easier on their feline friend while giving them peace of mind that their kitty is not locked in cage 24 hours a day. We also would be very happy to host small canine buddies who tolerate cats well Please send a message if you have any questions! I work outside of the home part-time but have a very flexible schedule, and will always be present at the home during your pet's stay. Our home is located in a cul de sac with a large backyard, with a tall fence all around, and one back gate with a latch. Please let us know if you do NOT want your pet to have access to the backyard and I am happy to oblige, and please also let us know if they are a flight-risk 😂. They would basically hang out with the cats and I and have free range of main living areas and their own quiet room next to the living room, and/or our room for overnights if your pet does not like to sleep alone. I have no problem waking up every few hours if your pet is very young or very old and needs to go potty often, just let me know their schedule. There is no smoking in the house.

About: I have been taking care of dogs since I was 13. The first dog I had to care for was my own, when I got my dog Dash my dad said we could keep her if my siblings and I took care of her. She is now 10 years old and the greatest responsibility I have taken care of in my life. I also started dog sitting for friends and family not long after. I have taken care of older dogs who need medication and help with their mobility. Puppies who have been from 1 month to 1 year old, whether it was stopping by afterschool to let them out while potty training or keeping them active. I’ve taken care of dogs from complicated backgrounds who need more time to open up. One of the dogs I regularly take care of was a rescue who didn’t like men and was scared of new people I would spend time with the family in their home so the dog could get used to me before i would take care of him on my own. Understanding a dogs personality and being respectful of their space is always important to learn to establish a connection with a dog. Adapting to their routine makes for an easy transition for both dog and owner. I enjoy caring for dogs and getting to know them, there’s nothing greater then having a dog by your side. DISCLAIMER!! (I WILL BE LEAVING FOR SCHOOL AUG 20th) I am more compatible with pets who can go a few hours without supervision. Currently I am home for break from college and have most of my schedule free. In the summer when I come back to Boise I work a part time job. So being able to leave for a few hours works the best for me. When taking care of someone else’s pet I always ask as many questions as possible, based on both the pet and owner. Learning their routines, personalities and quirks helps me best adapt to the lifestyle both pet and owner share. “With a last minute request, Dooku spent a weekend with Lindsay and her family. From the onset, Lindsay was very prompt with responses, she was very communicative, pleasant and positive. I expressed a concern about Dooku being susceptible to heat exhaustion because he is a black Lab with two coats and the days were very hot (100 to 105 degrees). Lindsay put me at ease and made it clear that she would take care of him, exercise him lightly and monitor his behavior. Knowing Lindsay and her family had a swimming pool, I cautioned her about Dooku’s love for swimming (it’s a lab thing 🐕🦺🐾) and that she would be challenged keeping him out of the pool. Throughout the stay, Lindsay sent me updates, photos and in no time at all, she informed me Dooku was swimming in her pool with her family and they were having fun! There is nothing like putting your cherished pup in the hands of someone else and knowing they are safe and well taken care of. Dooku will certainly be back and Lindsay comes highly recommended! “Our dogs had a great time. We had boarded them before doing rover and they came back covered in pee and very nervous. When we picked up the dogs from Rich they where very happy and excited. They really helped us out as one of the dogs doesn't do very well with other animals and they made it so that he could be outside for more than just walks.”

This was Betsy’s 1st experience being cared for by someone we didn’t know-she felt completely at home and at peace,-which was so comforting for me.
