“Amy was absolutely awesome to our dog! We left him with her while we went to a lake resort for the weekend and when we picked him up we could tell he had a great time.”

“Emily was so patient and communicative! She took excellent care of our young puppy, which definitely included extra challenges due to his age. She sent us pictures daily, and he seemed happy, safe, and perfectly at home the entire time!”

“Ashley and her family took excellent care of Jax, our Cavalier King Charles. We received multiple updates which gave us peace of mind while we were away. This was Jax's second stay with Ashley and we will book again.”

“My dog loves this family! She is engaged in lots of activities and is worn out by the end of the day. She loves all the attention! I never have to worry because I know she’s being taken care of and engaged in play more than she is at home.”

“Wally loves spending time with Bob and Vicky and their pup, Jax! We feel so comfortable leaving him there and know that he is well taken care of and loved on while we are away!”

About: I’m a calm, intuitive caregiver with years of experience welcoming dogs of all ages, sizes, and abilities into my home. From tiny senior chihuahuas to blind or deaf pups, energetic puppies, and giant breeds, I’ve supported them all with patience, structure, and genuine love. My gentle giant of a Labrador, Deyo, is a natural companion who helps other dogs feel safe, relaxed, and included. As a Reiki Master, I also offer optional daily Reiki sessions for dogs who benefit from extra emotional support, grounding, or relaxation. I’m skilled in senior care, reading dog body language, supporting anxious or sensitive pups, and creating a peaceful, nurturing environment where every dog feels truly at home. Pet care is a natural part of my daily rhythm. I work from home as an intuitive energy healer with a flexible schedule, so I’m able to offer frequent walks, plenty of supervision, and a calm, consistent environment for boarding. Dogs are with me throughout the day getting fresh air, attention, and companionship, evenings are relaxed and cozy, perfect for winding down. Your pup is never overlooked and always cared for like family. In my home, dogs enjoy a calm, loving environment with plenty of attention and supervision. My home has a fenced‑in backyard where pups get casual walks, outdoor time, and lots of built‑in play with Deyo, my gentle 97‑lb Lab who loves making new friends. Inside, dogs get cozy rest time, a predictable routine, and plenty of snuggles from the whole family. Whether your pup wants to play, explore, or just relax, they’re cared for like one of our own.
“I was super anxious about leaving Chomper because she has always stayed with family when we leave, and never for a full 5 days... also she is 10 and set in her funny old lady ways. Felicia was WONDERFUL! She housed Chomper for 5 days, was super responsive and communicative, sent me photos, let me FaceTime Chomper, and was accommodating to our late arrival time.... past 10pm when we had to pick her up on a Sunday night since our fight back was so late. I will absolutely use Felicia again! I will always be anxious about leaving my baby, but waaaay less anxious knowing she is in good hands. Highly recommend!”

“Jess is absolutely fantastic. This was our first time using Rover and Jess set the bar high. She is kind, accommodating, and courteous. She gave daily updates on our little buddy and I know that he was extremely pampered and well taken care of. Thanks so much again for everything Jess, and for getting us in last minute. You are the best!”

“Lori was phenomenal with my pup! She took wonderful care of her. My dog had such a great time with her hiking, going to dog parks, and cuddling! In the future when I need a sitter, I'll be calling Lori!”

“Staci was great in caring for my two dogs for five days. She responded quickly, sent updates, and my girls seemed very happy upon pick up. We would definitely book her again.”

“Jazzi was great to work with! Very experienced working with dogs, and was great at communicating and so helpful to accommodate some changes in my schedule! Definitely recommend :)”

“Moya is amazing. I cannot recommend her high enough. I have an older dog so am always very careful with where I place him and she immediately put my worries to ease. Great communication before, during, and after. Family environment which was perfect for my dog. It felt more like an extension of my own care for my dog than trying to fit him into a different environment. Thank you Moya!!”

About: I love all animals! They are my fav thing ever and I have an American bully of my own and a two year old who are my light and joy. I worked at a dog daycare for a multitude of years and worked at the zoo before that. I’ve trained both my dogs one as a puppy and one as an older dog who has reactivity so I know how tough it can be but all dogs deserve love and care! I am a stay at home mom with a two year old and a one year old American bully so i have all the time to spend with your pet! I am very comfortable with almost anything, I’m experienced with reactivity, medication, kenneling, and much more. I do have a two year old who may accompany me on walks but that can be changed if your dog doesn’t love kids!

About: Hi, I’m Megan! 🐾 For the past 7+ years I have devoted my life to caring for animals! Currently working as a shelter clinic manager, I have plenty of experience with both medical and behavioral sides of animal care. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness are my top priorities while they’re in my care. I also have extra help at home! My sister lacy, who is a stay-at-home pet lover with pet-sitting experience, helps provide additional attention, supervision, and care throughout the day. This means your pet gets plenty of companionship, potty breaks, playtime, and love—even when life gets busy. Whether your pet loves to play, cuddle, go on walks, or just relax, I’ll make sure they feel safe, loved, and right at home. I’m comfortable caring for pets with special needs, medications (including oral meds and all injection route's if needed), seniors, and those who may need a little extra TLC. I know how stressful it can feel leaving your pet behind, so I will provide as much communication as possible so you can relax knowing they’re in good hands. I treat every pet like family and strive to make their stay feel like a fun, safe “vacation” while you’re away. Pricing information: For Boise specifically, most sitters seem to fall into these ranges: * Budget/new sitter: $25–$35/night * Average experienced sitter: $40–$55/night * Very experienced/medical care or constant supervision: $60–$90+/night Since you work in vet med and have shelter/medical experience, if you were pet sitting at your house, you could likely charge on the higher end—especially if you’re comfortable with meds, seniors, post-op care, injections, etc. A vet-tech level sitter in Boise could reasonably start around $50–$75/night per dog. Availability & Schedule 🐾 I work Sunday–Wednesday, but your pet will still receive plenty of love, attention, and care! I have Thursday, Friday, and Saturday fully off, allowing for lots of one-on-one time, walks, playtime, and cuddles. To make sure pets always have companionship and supervision, my sister is home 100% of the time as a stay-at-home animal lover with pet-sitting experience. Between the two of us, your pet will have consistent care, attention, potty breaks, and lots of love throughout the day. Our Home Environment 🐾 We strive to provide a fun, loving, and safe home-away-from-home experience for every pet in our care! Our home has a large, fully fenced backyard with plenty of space to run, sniff, explore, and play safely. We also have three smaller, friendly dogs who love making new friends (while always respecting each pet’s comfort level and personality). Whether your pup enjoys playing, cuddling, or relaxing, we make sure they feel comfortable and included. There are plenty of cozy dog beds, toys, treats, and attention to go around! We treat every pet like family and do our best to keep their routine as comfortable and stress-free as possible while you’re away. Safety, supervision, love, and lots of tail wags are always our priority.
“Concetta and her family took care of our puppy like it was their own! Our Gigi loved them and was well taken care of. They have the sweetest dog of their own who was a great model for our little one. Thank you Concetta!”

South Boise Village dog parents share their Rover experiences
Angelina and her husband were wonderful with my senior dog. They sent photos and videos and he was comfortable and happy during his time with them. They were very good about introducing their dogs with mine slowly and intentionally. Would highly recommend them to anyone.
Jadyn did such a great job taking care of our dog, Macie! She did everything we asked of her and more! Unfortunately, another dog attacked Macie at the park and Jadyn took her directly to a vet who took care of the wounds at no charge. We really appreciate Jadyn acting so quickly to make sure Macie was ok. She and her sister showed a lot of affection toward her so we know she got plenty of attention and love! We definitely recommend Jadyn to others and will use her again!
