Highly-rated overnight sitters - Stewart Gulch
“Amy was very kind with my 13-year old dog sending me multiple pictures with details of his daily activities. I appreciated that she took him for regular walks. Amy was also timely with communications regarding drop off and pick up time changes. I will definitely use Rover again and have Amy take care of my dog in the future.”

“Lori is a great caregiver, and very responsive to anything you or your pet may need. My pup had a lot of fun with her, and came home tired after swimming, which is one of her favorite activities! It was my first time using Rover, so I was nervous but very happy with her, and was reassured by the photos she sent to me. I will definitely be using Lori in the future!”

“Ashley, Charles and her wonderful family were the BEST!! This was the first time I had boarded my dog and it was an exceptional experience. They took great care of Ricky Ricardo and sent pictures and updates the entire time. I will use them again and Ricky can't wait to see Ashley, Charles and her family again! I highly recommend!”

“There aren't enough good things that I can say about Chad and his family! Not only was he super responsive, but I definitely felt like my dog was in good hands. Throughout my trip, I received many photo updates, usually when my dog was out and about playing with other pups. Having someone that you can depend on is paramount and I hit the jackpot with Chad. THANK YOU!!! P.S. Jovie says hello 🙂”

“Lindsay was amazing!!! Our 5 month old puppy stayed with her for over a week and it was the best experience. She worked with her on some basic training, got her to sleep in a crate and sent daily pictures and updates! We will definitely use her again in the future!!”

“Clooney had the best time ever staying with Bob, Vicky and Jax. And I had a peace of mind, because their communication and photo and video updates were impeccable! I am so grateful for them. Highly recommend!!!”

“Tina has a great place to board our dog. In addition to a large space to run, there are chickens, turkeys, squirrels, and other critters to keep our dog's attention. Of course there is fencing to protect most of these distractions, but squirrels just seem to live in the trees.”

“Jillian and her family were wonderful with our dog. They incorporated him into their lives and he had a great stay and was even sad to leave. While it was great to get home, he missed her kids and all their attention. I would definitely recommend Jullian.”

“Dylan watched my dog at his apartment over a long weekend and it went great! I got photo updates and easily coordinated drop of / pick up with fast response times. Would use Dylan’s dog walking services again.”

“Super kind family! Very warm and welcoming to our dog & sent us great updates. Highly recommend if you want your dog to be well looked-after and loved!”

“Michael, Wendy and their sweet family were amazing with our Charlie! We joked that he might be disappointed to get picked up! It was wonderful to have such peace of mind knowing our puppers was in great hands.”

“Katelyn was super sweet and so was her family. They kept our Golden and took great care of her, lovin on her like she was one of the family. She also took our pup on last minute and was so communicative and easy to work with. I Will definitely book again with Katelyn!”

“Amanda was a perfect sitter for my hunting dog Wrigley. Given all the exercise she needed, Wrigley was allowed to socialize/play with Amanda’s two golden retrievers, was fed well, and was thoughtfully protected from the summer heat. This included early morning walks before the heat of the day. Amanda provided photos, videos and feedback to keep me apprised of Wrigley’s overall health, allowing me to more fully enjoy my time away. Wrigley quickly became part of Amanda’s family, and I am confident Wrigley received the best care possible. I highly recommend Amanda for your dog sitting needs.”

“Tyler has been great with our dog! This was our second time using Tyler and our dog was so excited to see him again. Tyler was willing to work with us when our travel plans got messed up. We are so grateful for his patience.”

“Aimee and Derek were wonderful in taking care of my 3 yr. old Pug "Odie". I would recommend them to anybody that needs there service. In the future I hope we can use their services again. JOE S.”

“Atticus was great with taking care of our cats as well as being agreeable to taking care of non-pet related tasks such as taking out the garbage to the curb and bringing in packages. Atticus was communicative, agreeable to a meet and greet, and stuck to the care schedule. I would book with Atticus in the future and recommend others do the same.”

“Kalli was a great sitter for our 15-yr.old cat! She double-checked on dosage for one of his medications, and also followed up to be sure we had arrived home, offering to feed our cat again if we hadn't made it back as planned. Also, our cat still hangs out by the front door in hopes that she will come by and give him some cuddles!”

“I hired Kayla for the first time last week. She did a great job, very responsible. She's now at the top of my "go-to" list the next time I need a cat sitter. Good job, Kayla!”

“Annemarie did an amazing job looking after Cricket. Cricket historically has not warmed up to Pet Sitters, however Annemarie is now Cricket's new best friend. Setting in her lap, receiving brushings and wanting to play, this we have never seen before. We highly recommend Annemarie for your pets as she is compassionate and great communicator. We got pictures and updates daily while in Europe. Hard to believe the change in Cricket, this is a first!”

“Liz and Anna were great. It’s pretty apparent they love dogs as my pups were in good hands. They were also very thoughtful in their questions to understand my needs while I was away. Highly recommend them!”

“Lily did an amazing job watching my house and cats. You can tell she truly cares for the animals and is very trustworthy. Also great at checking in and reassuring the owners that everything is going well. 100% recommend!”

About: I am primarily on this app to be of service to our dog training clients when they go out of town. I am sometimes available to take other pets, but not always. I understand that each animal has their own personality and quirks. I am able to care for pets of any age. I have experience administering medications as well. I work full time at a dog training facility. I spend most of my free time taking care of animals. I am able to bring pups to work with me during the day, so I can potty and let them run around on my breaks throughout the day. I will either bring your pup to my house or go to yours! Whatever your preference is. I do have two dogs of my own, both are friendly to all different types of pets. We also have a cat, so my dogs know how to behave around them (not chasing, bothering, etc.) As I mentioned above, I work at a training facility and will be able to bring your pup to work with me instead of them being home alone during the day. I have lots of experience crate training dogs, and can help continue or start that training for you.

About: 🐾 About Me Hi there! I’m Kayla, a lifelong animal lover with a big heart for animals. From energetic puppies to mellow seniors, I’ve cared for pets of all personalities and needs — and I treat every one of them like my own. I know how important it is to feel confident that your pets are happy, safe, and loved while you’re away. Whether it’s walks, playtime, feedings, medication, or just a little extra TLC, I tailor my care to each pet’s unique routine and personality. You can count on me for: ✨ Reliable, on-time visits 🐶 Lots of love, attention & play 🐾 Updates with photos and messages 🐕 Experience with dogs, cats, and small animals Your pets deserve more than just basic care — they deserve comfort, companionship, and someone who genuinely enjoys being with them. That’s exactly what I provide. Let’s make sure your best friend gets the care (and cuddles) they deserve while you’re away! 💛 I currently work from home during the week and part time at a spa on the weekends. I have tons of free time and flexibility with my schedule. I have a full chain link fenced yard with doggy door access to the house. I also have the space to be able to accommodate crates if necessary.
“I brought TWO dogs to Chunli very last minute. I had my dog and my daughter's dog. Chunli was incredibly sweet to them. She took them on several long walks and my daughter's dog is a RELENTLESS player with balls and Chunli very patiently played with her for way longer than I would have! They each had different feeding instructions and different dog foods and she followed all the instructions to the letter. The dogs were picked up at the end of a long day happy and barely even noticing I was there. I would totally use Chunli again.”

“Silvia took amazing care of my two pups and made me feel completely at ease during their stay. She was very communicative and sent the best updates and photos throughout the day. I only wish I lived closer so I could use her again! Highly recommend!”

About: I have cared for pets since I was 6 years old, started with a tabby cat named Tinker after Tinker Bell. Since then I’ve cared for multiple cats of my own (including litters), and 2 of the sweetest dogs until seniors. I also loved and cared for the cutest peach-faced love bird, named, but of course - Peaches. I believe animals were created for us to be reminded to enjoy each moment we are given. I also believe that they deserve the best care and love through excellent attention to health, play and grooming. I have a set schedule that I will stick to for the most part, with flexibility upon request. Occasionally I will travel as well with advance notice. I am happy to come to your home to care for, feed, groom and play with your pet. I am also happy to take your pet for a drive (depending on the animal) to parks or different locations for exercise and play, or grooming.
“Andi and Tim were awesome!! They met us with so much love, excitement and willingness to accept Rollie as her quirky self. Not only were they flexible but they sent me photos n messages to reassure me that Rollie was having the best time and in great hands while they got their dog fix haha. It was great and would 100% recommend them as well as love to book them again next time I’m in town.”

With years of experience as a pet owner, I’ve cared for puppies & senior dogs ensuring each one gets the attention and care they need. Currently my senior cat, Ruger is my only pet who lives in our home and he absolutely loves dogs! I take the time to learn each dog’s personality, routines and cues because I know how important it is for them to feel comfortable and understood. Whether it’s gentle guidance, extra patience and comfort, or lots of playtime and affection, I respect their boundaries adapt quickly to their needs. I strive to speak their language to make them feel secure and right at home. Your dog’s happiness, safety and well-being are always my top priorities! **As a full-time sitter, Rover keeps a portion of each booking, so your tips and reviews mean the world — they go 100% to me and help keep my space cozy and well-maintained for your pets!! 🐾 💛 I work from home full-time, which means your pet will get constant attention, care and companionship throughout the day. I am either on the computer in my office or in the barbershop (in the garage) which I cut hair 2-3 days a week for half of the day. Whether your dog loves to play, nap or just be near someone, they’ll never feel lonely while in my care. Since I’m home all day, I can easily keep up with feeding schedules, potty breaks, walks, and playtime—all while ensuring they feel safe and loved. With a calm and loving home environment and the ability to give one on one attention, your pup will feel like part of the family while you’re away! “Amanda was great! She sent me photos and videos throughout the day. Ryder had a blast. Very nice and respectful. I would recommend Amanda to anyone looking for someone to watch/take care of their pups!”

About: My wife and I love dogs and are excited to have the opportunity to care for your small to medium breed non-aggressive dog(s) under 35 lbs. (Please be advised that our experience has shown that the high energy cattle/sheep dogs, shepherds, etc., are generally not a good fit for us). We both have had dogs all of our lives. We have the experience of caring for dogs through their feeding, grooming, exercising, bathing, and of course lots of loving through their senior years. We are both retired, so your dog(s) will have lots of loving attention and care throughout its/their stay. We have a doggie door so your dog(s) can have free access to our large fenced backyard. We generally accept only one client at a time, so we can give your dog(s) lots of attention and love. We do sometimes allow an overlap with another client's dog, but only if we know the dogs involved get along well. We have one dog, Jax (Cavalier King Charles). He is very loving, playful, and unaggressive. Weather permitting and with your approval, we will include your dog(s) in our daily walks in our neighborhood and excursions to local parks. However we do not allow our dog and your dog(s) in "dog parks" and do not allow them to have exposure to other dogs on our walks. Since we are retired, we will also give lots of cuddles and play in between outings, to keep them engaged. We have a dog toy box full of toys for them to play with, if they want. Just click on our profile pictures to see our "Doggie Hall of Fame" photos which show our care of our clients' dogs. We will follow your instructions, including for special needs, to make sure of your pet(s)’ total care and safety. We have a large and comfy single level home with 24/7 access to a large secure backyard and a doggie door. We will give potty breaks to those dogs that don't want to use the doggie door every couple of hours or as needed. We also have 24/7 video surveillance both inside and outside for their safety. Your dog(s) will have access to the entire house and is/are welcome to cuddle on the furniture, and can sleep in our bedroom in a doggie bed or crate, whichever your pet prefers. However, we do not allow dogs to sleep on our bed. Please let us know if you have any questions or special needs for your dog(s).
“We couldn’t have asked for a better Rover sitter! Kelly was so warm, welcoming, and flexible with our timing. Coco immediately felt at home and had a wonderful time playing with Deyo. Kelly went above and beyond by sharing local recommendations that helped us make the most of our quick Boise visit. We had complete peace of mind knowing Coco was in such caring hands. We are incredibly grateful and would happily book with her again!”

About: Hi! I'm Adam, a lifelong dog lover with years of experience caring for dogs of all kinds. I grew up surrounded by dogs and have always been the go-to person for friends and neighbors when they needed someone they could trust with their furry family members. Most recently, I shared life with my red heeler, Rusty, who was a bundle of energy with a huge personality. We had an incredible bond, and I learned so much about what it means to care for a high-energy, high-intelligence breed. Sadly, I had to say goodbye to him not long ago, but I’m so grateful for the time we had. He reminded me how much joy dogs bring to everyday life—and how much care and attention they deserve. Now, I’d love to help others by offering the same love and attention to your dog as I did for mine. Whether it's going for walks, playing in the yard, or just keeping them company while you're away, I’m here to make sure your pup feels safe, happy, and loved. Looking forward to meeting you and your dog! Pet care fits perfectly into my routine! I work from home, which gives me the flexibility to be present and attentive throughout the day. I'm able to take regular breaks to walk, play with, or check in on pets as needed. I also run some mornings, so if your dog enjoys a little extra exercise, I’d be happy to bring them along (with your approval, of course!). Whether it’s active time or quiet companionship, I can easily fit your pet’s needs into my day. When caring for pets in my home, they’ll have access to a small, fenced-in yard for safe outdoor time, and I live just a short walk from a wide-open park—perfect for walks, playtime, or just a good sniff around. I keep a calm, clean, and pet-friendly home where your dog can feel safe and comfortable. If I’m visiting your pet at your home or housesitting, you can count on me to treat your space with the same care and respect I give my own. I'm a very neat person, and I’ll always follow your pet’s routine closely to make sure they feel secure while you’re away. I also love biking and walking around town, so I’m happy to stop by for visits or longer stays depending on what your pet needs.

“Ciera and James have been very reliable in helping for Nahla Bear on my 14 hour days away for work while my partner is out of town! We are so appreciative that she gets out and is well cared for!”

“Bailey did a great job walking Jasper! She was very attentive to his needs (he’s a senior dog) and was excellent at following instructions for treat puzzles etc. Thank you so much, Bailey!”

About: I have walked and boarded dogs for 10 years. I am new to Rover. I love taking dogs for walks and getting them some exercise and enrichment. I work 9-5, with time for walks during lunch, before work, and in the evenings. Weekends can include up to three walks a day, including longer walks. At home, or with clients, dogs get a good watchful eye to ensure they don’t get into anything they shouldn’t. With an adventurous pup of my own, I am careful to remove any “escape opportunities”

About: I have been taking care of dogs since I was 10 years old, when I bought my own puppy with the money I had saved up. I love dogs with all my heart, currently I do not have a pooch of my own, so I would love to meet yours and help you care for them! I am currently a stay-at-home parent to my 3 children(12, 10, and 7). I can easily fit pet care into my daily routine and am wanting to start creating bonds with your pet! I have a somewhat large fully fenced yard, so I am willing to take dogs to my home for a few hours! Currently my cats rule the roost, so I will not let any other animals in my home, but they are welcome in my back yard and I will spend time with them there!
About: I’ve grown up having dogs my whole life! After walking and looking after my own dogs, I started getting involved in walking and caring for friends and neighbors dogs since I was 13! I love taking my dog everywhere with me, I enjoy being around all types of dogs and puppies; I look forward to meeting you and your pup! I am available from 10-6 Monday thru Saturday, I am in a transition period to my next job opportunity, and I’m here to help out when you need me while I’m searching for my next venture! Schedule will be updated with new hours when I get my next job opportunity! I am currently not offering boarding at this time, but for drop in check in visits I am here to keep your pets happy and looked after while they eagerly await your return!
“Emily has been consistently great walking our dog. When we went on vacation, she went out of her way-above and beyond what we asked of her. I was able to put my mind at ease the whole time. ”

“Craig walks my Bostons weekly and they so look forward to seeing him . Always waiting at the window and ready to go!! Sends lots of pics and updates , so happy to have found him !”

About: Hello, my name is Atticus! I worked at a doggy daycare for over a year, have been pet and house sitting for neighbors and friends for over 3 years, actively volunteer at a cat shelter since 2017, and have been walking dogs since I was a kid. I have 5 pets (one dog, three cats, and one snake) of my own, making me well versed in caring for a variety of animals. I work a sporadically scheduled contracted job 1 to 3 Saturdays a month that I'm very committed to. However, these jobs have never gotten in the way of my care towards my own animals and the animals I have pet sat for. I don't pet sit in my own home, as I can't be sure that my animals will 100% get along with a client's animal. I have slept over in guest rooms of the houses I have spent over night in, as well as having only been in the house with the pets during the day, all per the client's request. Whatever one's house looks like or whatever features one's house may have, I am always sure to respect boundaries, clean up after myself, and make sure the house is left looking better than when I arrived.
About: I work from home, and am able to provide lots of love and attention to your pup! I live in a single family home with a fully fenced yard. Our small poodle mix loves to socialize and play with other dogs. I work from home, so I’m always home! I have availability for multiple daily walks and playtime. I can be flexible with pick up and drop off times. I have a fully fenced back yard. There is also a large park to walk in (leashed) in my neighborhood. I can meet any feeding needs or special instructions.
About: Hi there, fellow pet lovers! I’m Cynthia, and I’m so glad you stopped by... I live in the beautiful North End of Boise and have been pet-sitting for years, caring for dogs and cats! Consider me your trusted ally who is dedicated to enriching your pet's daily experience while simplifying yours. I grew up with Saint Bernards, so handling large dogs is second nature to me. Our home was always full of animals—strays, rescues, and the occasional “foster fail” who became family. We made room for whoever needed it, and that mindset has stayed with me ever since. I’m comfortable with a full range of pet temperaments, whether they’re anxious zoomers or mellow seniors who just want a calm presence and some TLC. Got a skittish kitty? A bossy little lion? No worries, I speak fluent feline! With a background in cat enrichment and behavior modification, I have a knack for earning the trust of even the most standoffish and secretive cats. Whether your furry companion is shy, bold, or somewhere in between, I can read kitties well, and I always bring a calm, grounded energy that helps them feel safe and secure. I’m also borderline obsessive (in a good way) about secure entries and exits. If your pet is a known escape artist, trust that I’ll take special care not to let them out! Whatever kind of care your best friend needs, I’m happy to help with drop-in visits, walks, meds, belly rubs, playtime, you name it. Also, please ask me anything if you can't find it in my profile! I'm happy to discuss extra services that you or your pet needs to feel loved, safe, and happy while you're away! I am recently retired early from the tech industry and now have time to give back to my community and neighbors! I'm available 7 days a week, and for overnights if needed and if the fit is right! Contact me anytime, and we can coordinate something that works, whether it's just hanging out with your pet or having a fun adventure! I've lived a lifetime with pets and rescued animals, so for me they are family. I treat all living things with respect, understanding, and care. I'm always thinking ahead of potential scenarios when planning any outings, making sure I'm prepared with extra leashes, treats, and/or a strong understanding of an area and what to expect.

About: I have always had animals in my life. Cats, dogs, birds. I have cared for small and large breeds. Raised Rottweilers and our latest rescue is a Pitbull Mastiff mix from Boise Bully Breed. I have cared for pets with special needs also enjoy senior pets. I work part time from home with a very flexible schedule, just need a couple hours a week on my laptop. Available for day and night walks. Over nights work for me as well. Our 3 dogs and 1 cat are all very spoiled. The dogs are seniors so their exercise is always age appropriate. When we have foster pups they all step up for quiet play. Whenever I care for others pets I always want to specialize the care for what works best for the animal. I know my own pets are use to their routines and I think it's important to maintain those as pets can often get anxious when moms and dads are gone.
About: I have always loved animals and enjoy spending time caring for pets and making sure they feel safe and comfortable. I am a responsible and reliable person who understands how important it is to trust someone with your pet. I grew up with animals, including dogs, cats, and a hamster. I currently have two cats, Draco and June! I have experience caring for dogs and cats of different sizes and personalities, including walking, feeding, playtime, and making sure they get the attention and care they need. I am patient, attentive, and happy to follow any specific routines or instructions to keep your pet happy and healthy. Whether your pet needs a walk, company while you’re away, or extra care during the day, I will make sure they feel comfortable, safe, and well cared for. Pet care fits well into my routine. I currently work a 9–5 Monday through Thursday and 9–1 on Fridays, and I have availability on weekends. I’m also able to help with pet care before or after my work hours if needed. I’m happy to coordinate schedules for walks, drop-in visits, feeding, or check-ins to make sure your pet gets the care and attention they need. I try to be flexible and work with owners to find times that fit both of our schedules. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I always follow the pet owner’s instructions closely, including feeding schedules, medications if needed, and any specific routines your pet is used to. I make sure pets are supervised, secure, and comfortable at all times. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I respect the space and keep the environment clean and calm so pets feel safe in their familiar surroundings. I also pay attention to their behavior and needs to make sure they are happy and well cared for. I’m always happy to provide updates and photos so owners can feel confident that their pets are in good hands.
About: I’ve always loved animals of all kinds. When I was a kid I used to be told not to pet certain animals because they were deemed “unfriendly”, most of them time people were shocked when their animal would warm up to me after making such a statement. Animals are much more intelligent and empathetic than some people give them credit for. Give me a choice between a room full of humans or a room full of animals, and I’ll take the room full of animals every time. I started pet setting when I was 12 and I’ve been doing it on and off ever since. I used to have a dog, sadly he passed from heart failure and I’ve just barely gotten to the point where I’m thinking about getting another. I miss his energy and miss taking him on hikes and long walks. Getting up early is not a problem for me. I live right by the greenbelt so we will be going on lots of walks! At the moment my schedule is very open. I have 2 cats who love dogs, but I know not all dogs love cats. I am more than willing to come over and dog sit and even bring you pup In during the times I’m there as long as your pup likes cats, otherwise me walking your pup and boarding at your house would be better suited for all parties involved.
About: I have over 10 years of experience as an emergency vet tech. In addition to that have been a caring pet owner all of my adult life. Since becoming a human physical therapist I also got certified in canine physical therapy. We recently moved to Boise and I am currently working part time. I have time in the early morning and midday for longer walks and drop in visits. I love walking/light jogging. Seeing a dog enjoying a walk makes me so happy! Reducing a pets stress when their owner is out of town is important!

JOE S.”

“Daniel took really good care of my dog today for “doggy daycare” while I was at work. My dog is anxious & can be hard to walk. He listened to my concerns, tried to make my pup feel at home, & sent regular updates. His dogs were really great with my dog, too.”

“Katie and her husband did a fantastic job with my dog. They were very caring, provided lots of pictures and videos, and were good communicators. I will definitely be using them again in the future.”

“Alisa was incredible! She was flexible and treated our dog like she was her own. She sent cute pictures and updates. I felt extremely safe leaving our dog with her. Would definitely use her again.”

“Jess is absolutely fantastic. This was our first time using Rover and Jess set the bar high. She is kind, accommodating, and courteous. She gave daily updates on our little buddy and I know that he was extremely pampered and well taken care of. Thanks so much again for everything Jess, and for getting us in last minute. You are the best!”
