“We ended up in a bind. Although I started looking for a dog sitter a good month before needing one I thought I had one lined up who bailed on me about a week before I needed him. I had many sitters that never replied and many were not willing to take a non-neutered dog. So I went on Nextdoor and pled my case. I didn't need suggestions for someone "who might sit," I needed a sitter now! Kaylene answered my SOS. She'd had a lab for 15 years and knew about crazy high energy pups. It was a match made in heaven for us. Our dog is not neutered, can be destructive as he's still a very large pup, and needed someone who would be with him all day and not crate him. Kaylene did a great job, they went to the dog park in the mornings to help get rid of the zoomies, walked in the evenings, had lots of smooches in between. Theo came home reluctantly (!) and didn't eat the next morning. He missed "his girl." What I liked right off the bat about Kaylene was she obviously was able to handle our large rambunctious pup and showed her "right stuff" at the dog park, where we first met, when Theo was attacked or threatened by aggressive dogs. I felt certain he would be safe with her. And he was. I highly recommend her.”
