“Alinda followed all instructions and took very good care of our kitty! Alinda was detail-oriented and a great communicator. We absolutely recommend booking with her”

“Ciera and James have been wonderful with drop-in visits for Knox! They communicate really well, are reliable, and take great care of him during each visit. I always feel confident knowing Knox is in good hands with them. They’re attentive to his needs and treat him with genuine care. I would definitely recommend Ciera and James and will happily have them look after Knox again!”

“Natasha was AMAZING!!! She watched our two cats while my partner and I were on vacation. She sent the best pictures of our kitties to us. I felt very assured our fur babies were being taken care of. I 10/10 recommend Natasha!”

“Emily did an excellent job taking care of our dogs, they really enjoyed her, she brought in the mail and watered our plants we will book her again any time, thank you the Sorensens”
“Josey was absolutely fantastic for our pups Sailor and Zazu. She communicates well, often, and is thoughtful in asking questions. If you are like me it is the most comforting to have someone you trust, your dogs love, and shows up for them when they need her. I will absolutely be checking to see if Josey is available for future visits!”

“This was my first time to use Rover and it worked out great! Stephani took good care of my kitty and my fish! I appreciate the updates and I would definitely use Rover and Stephani again in the future!”

“Mikayla is so great with my cat! He definitely looks forward to anyone who comes to the front door being her, and when it’s not he is visibly disappointed. She is reliable and takes the best pictures while she’s taking care of my boy!”

“Atticus was great with taking care of our cats as well as being agreeable to taking care of non-pet related tasks such as taking out the garbage to the curb and bringing in packages. Atticus was communicative, agreeable to a meet and greet, and stuck to the care schedule. I would book with Atticus in the future and recommend others do the same.”

“Morgan was awesome! So awesome that when I got home from my trip my cat had learned how to speak English so he could tell me how awesome she was and how she not only fed him, played with him, and gave him his treats, but how he was mildly disappointed with me returning because he enjoyed her company so much! She’s now hopefully gonna be my go-to whenever I’m traveling!”

“Meredith is the best pet sitter I’ve ever had. You could not ask for more. Very responsive, goes above and beyond what’s needed, has a real feeling for what your pet needs. Outstanding. I’m so grateful.”

About: As a proud dog mom to my 4 year old Mini Bernedoodle, Prince, I know that every dog has their own personality, energy level, and routine. Whether your pup loves long walks, playing fetch, exploring new smells, or curling up for belly rubs, I’ll make sure they receive the attention, exercise, and affection they deserve. I believe the best pet care is personalized. I’ll take the time to learn your dog’s routine, preferences, and any special needs so they feel comfortable and secure while you’re away. You’ll also receive regular photo updates and messages, giving you peace of mind that your best friend is happy, safe, and having a great time. Pet care is already a big part of my daily life. My own pets keep me on a consistent routine, and I genuinely enjoy making time each day for walks, playtime, feeding, and plenty of attention. I work remotely, which gives me the flexibility to provide dependable care, stick to your pet’s routine, and be available for visits throughout the day. Whether it’s an energetic walk, a drop-in visit, or simply spending quality time with your pet. When caring for pets in your home, my goal is to keep their routine as normal as possible. I’ll follow your instructions closely for feeding, walks, playtime, medications (if needed), and any other preferences you have. I know that pets are most comfortable in their familiar environment, so I strive to provide calm, consistent care while giving them plenty of love and attention. I’ll also treat your home with the same respect I would my own, keeping things clean, secure, and leaving everything just as I found it. Throughout each visit, I’ll send regular photo updates and messages so you can have peace of mind knowing your pet is happy, safe, and well cared for while you’re away.
“Kaylah was fantastic and so flexible with our changing needs. I really felt like she cared about doing what was best for the dogs, not just checking off a task. She really went above and beyond and I would definitely recommend her!”

“Jordan did a fantastic job with our drop in visits! She arrived on time and made sure our pups had ample play time. She provided photos and a summary after each visit. Highly recommend!”
About: I am a mom of humans and animals of all kinds so I can basically run a zoo or manage a circus. I grew up with just about every kind of pet and have kept that going into my adult life. Dogs and small animals (rodents) are my favorite but I love everything furry and four-legged. Wildlife rehab is my passion so domestic pet care is easy-peasy. I have a full-time job working for the state, which means I have a set schedule meaning I am consistently available before 8:00 and after 4:00/5:00. I am also lucky enough to have some flexibility on weekdays because of the nature of my work. Weekends are typically wide open! I have reliable transportation and love a good long walk or hike. I also love a snuggle or just being present company for homebound critters.

“Elise has been taking care of my cats for four years. She is consistent, dependable, and trustworthy. One of my cats can be fearful of strangers but he warmed up to her immediately. She takes a huge weight off my shoulders any time I travel. 5/5 stars!”

About: Hi there! I’ve been caring for animals most of my life, starting on my grandparent’s farm in Eastern Oregon where I spent my summers and winters surrounded by everything from dogs and cats to goats, chickens, and horses. I’ve been pet sitting professionally since I was 16, and now with over a decade of experience, I bring both passion and expertise to every pet I care for. I’m trained in animal behavior, body language, dog training techniques, veterinary care, and medication administration. I’m also certified in Cat and Dog First Aid and Pet CPR. Whether you have a puppy learning the ropes or a senior dog needing gentle, consistent care, I’ll stick closely to your routine and provide the love and structure your pet needs to feel safe and happy. I work full time at an indie pet supply store. We wake early to fit in a walk and some solid structured training and play time. I would be available to check in on your pets the same way both before and after work, with my work not starting until 9:30 am and getting out at 7:30 at the latest. When I care for pets, my priority is making sure they feel safe, happy, and at home even when their people are away. I offer house sitting, drop-in visits, and dog walking, and I tailor my care to fit both your pet’s routine and your comfort level. On walks, I like to switch up our routes so your dog can explore new trails and work their brain. During drop-ins, I make sure your pet gets play, affection, and any care they need whether it’s feeding, medication, or a quick game of fetch before I leave. When house sitting, I follow your daily routine closely so your pets experience the same rhythms they’re used to. I’m happy to include walks or even pup cups and store visits if that’s something you’re comfortable with. I love including dogs in my day whenever possible, and I’m always respectful of everyone’s boundaries. Every animal is different, and every household is unique. That’s why I focus on communication, consistency, and making sure your pets feel truly cared for while you’re away.
The median cost per visit for pet sitting in Highlands is $20
Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Highlands
Stephani was amazing! She sent me photos and updates on the boys (our cats) each day. She was even able to coax them out of hiding to eat on the 3rd day. They are very frightened of people they don’t know. She also brought in a package that was left on our front porch. We have already booked with her for upcoming care fr the boys. I highly recommend and trust Stephani!

Morgan did awesome with my cat! I always appreciate a sitter with cat experience because my kitty requires good cat-reading skills. Onion warmed up to her very quickly, which I also loved. Morgan also brought and my mail and watered the plants, which was a kind extra. I also really appreciated all the questions she asked before booking to get the best sense of what to expect. It made it clear she knew what she was doing. Will definitely book again!

Adia is absolutely amazing! She helped me out super last minute and took such great care of my cat. She was reliable, easy to communicate with, and gave me so much peace of mind knowing my kitty was in good hands. I would definitely recommend her and would trust her to watch my cat again!

Jessie was so amazing with Tiki! She always would respond in a pronto manner which made me feel at ease. Her pictures were amazing and she always was on time for the appts! I will be using her services again for sure! Thank you so much Jessie! P.S. I think my dog misses her lol

I’ve booked with Kristi a couple times now, and I feel so much better about traveling knowing my kitties are well taken care of and checked in on while I’m gone. The daily updates and photos are really appreciated, and I know the kitties like having company. I highly recommend booking with Kristi!

Kelsey was wonderful! The daily updates about our cat and her willingness to help water our garden were so helpful. She even alerted us immediately to a water leak in our house while we were gone and we appreciate her communication so much. We will definitely have her back in the future!

Mikayla and Ryker were great and did an amazing job taking care of our cat while we were out of town! Our flight was canceled coming back into town and they stopped by last-minute to make sure he had everything he needed another night. Highly recommend if you are looking for a trustworthy sitter for you pet.

This was my first time with Taylor and it was a great experience. She is very responsive and timely. My pet had very specific needs and she was able to meet all his needs and even came to meet Otis before the scheduled visits. She left detailed notes of how the visits went and left pictures of my pet. I would definitely recommend Taylor!
