About: I love dogs and I know that most dogs are happiest with their families. I do everything I can to help guest pups integrate into our little dog pack and feel at home while their families are away. I’ve been dogsitting for quite some time now and have experienced all shapes and sizes. I love them all and enjoy getting to know their inner personalities and puzzling out what makes them content. We strive to have so much fun that the dogs are too tired to feel too sad. About our family/home: my wife and I both work from home and have flexibility to care for pups during the day. We have a fenced yard with a dog door and are close to the river, the foothills, a friendly dog park, and a quiet neighborhood for walking. River, 8, is a retriever mix who loves hikes in the foothills and the occasional game of chase or wrestle, but is pretty mellow at home. Theo, 1, is a golden retriever who loves all dogs and people. Both dogs have lot of experience playing with other dogs and hosting dogs in their home. We typically only take dogs from one household at a time unless we have indication that the dogs will get along well. We’ve also found that we all do best if a guest dog has a warmup period. Therefore, any dogs looking for a stay longer than 48 hours will be asked to do a trial run beforehand (a day of daycare or a night of boarding). This helps us ensure a peaceful and safe environment for all dogs and has the added benefit of helping a dog feel more comfortable when they return to a familiar place for their longer stay. Because we recently added a new puppy to our home, we are more selective than normal in which dogs we can board. Dogs with a history of aggression, excessive barking, or other behavior problems are not a good fit at this time. We do offer house-sitting on a limited basis. If you have a uniquely challenging dog or specific circumstances, reach out and we will see if we can make something work! We look forward to getting to know you and your dog. My partner and I both work from home, so we have a lot of flexibility. Dog needs come first in our home and we are happy to take work breaks to play or exercise. We have a fully fenced backyard with a dog-door. We live two blocks from a park that is great for fetch. Our neighborhood is great for walks.

“Stephani was fantastic! We were able to book on short notice over the holidays. She worked with our schedule. She not only checked in our our kitties everyday but she sent snaps to both my roommate and I on request so we could see our fur babies in real time. On top of that, she kept close tabs on one of our cats that started getting sick when we left. She even took him to the vet and gave him meds throughout the rest of the stay. She was friendly, trustworthy, flexible, and went above and beyond for our pets! I would 100% book again and recommend Stephani to others!”

“First time with Augusta and it was a great experience. She was responsive to messages and was able to accommodate my pets physical needs. Would definitely recommend!”

“Adrianna was great with my shy cat! During the meet and greet she was very patient with her, and I could tell from the pictures and messages I got from Adrianna that my cat had started to open up to her.”

“Elyse was so wonderful with our pup! It made leaving him for the day so much easier. She came at the perfect times to feed and walk him. We loved the pics she sent and notes about each visit.”

“Nugget was very well taken care of during our holiday vacation. Alinda sent multiple pictures from every visit, showed up on a regular schedule exactly as expected and stayed the full visit time to give Nugget plenty of attention in addition to the feeding and litterbox chores.”

“Nicole is professional, reliable, and friendly! She takes great pics! I miss our cat when we’re away, but thanks to Nicole I don’t worry about her comfort and happiness”

“Easily the best dog sitter I’ve ever had! She’s so attentive to Nejis habits and needs. She cares for my dog like he’s her own, and I would recommend her to anyone! :)”

About: I've lived with and cared for dogs my entire life, and love spending time with dogs as often as I’m able! I’ve lived at a small dog shelter for a short time taking care of dogs of all sizes and temperaments, and I’m happy to provide the correct care for each dog. I work full time, usually 8am-5:30pm near downtown Boise. I understand this is tough for many pets’ schedules, and, when possible, I am happy to check in on pets during my lunch. I am available any hours that I am not at work and I’m happy to do overnight stays any day of the week! I love to spend time with dogs in whatever way they may need, whether it's playing and stimulating their mind, feeding them whatever diet is best for them, taking them on walks, or just providing them with some company!

About: If prices are too high, message us and we can be flexible/work something out! We have experience with dog, cat, reptiles, and other animals. We treat every animal like family — their routine, their quirks, their favorite toy? We learn it all. You’ll never have to wonder how your pup is doing while you’re away. We send daily updates, adorable photos, and quick check-ins to keep you connected and reassured. Plus, we include free extras like walks, light grooming, playtime, and even administering medications — all as part of your booking. Because your dog deserves more than just a sitter — they deserve to feel like they are at home. We’re available anytime and would love the opportunity to care for your furry family member! Please let us know what schedule works best for you — we’re happy to help in any way we can. Thank you for considering us! For your convenience: Liz is available for dogs who are comfortable being alone for 4–8 hours. Killian (Anna) is available for pets who need full-time companionship and cannot be left alone. We look forward to giving your pet the care and attention they deserve! We provide regular updates and photos so you can stay connected with your pet while you’re away. With your permission, we’re happy to take them on walks and engage in playtime to keep them active and happy.

“If I could give 6 out of 5 stars I would! My cat LOVED Brooke and Brooke went above and beyond taking care of her: She cleaned up after her when she got sick and was even willing to give that dangerously fluffy butt a trim when she had a mess there. She was also understanding and flexible when we had to adjust the visit schedule unexpectedly.”

“Sabrina has watched my cat twice now and does such a fabulous job! She sends me lots of pictures and updates and even changed out my smoke detector battery that was beeping!”

About: Hi there, fellow dog lover! I’m Cynthia, and I’m so glad you stopped by... I live in the beautiful North End of Boise and have been pet sitting for years, caring for everything from high-energy pups to wise old senior dogs and plenty of cats, and occasionally horses, and small animals too! I grew up around Saint Bernards, so I’ve been wrangling big dogs since I could walk. Our house was kind of a magnet for animals in need....strays, rescues, you name it. We never turned them away and either kept them or helped find them forever homes with family and friends. That experience shaped how I care for animals today...patient, flexible, and with a lot of heart. I’m comfortable with pups of all ages and temperaments, whether they’re anxious zoomers or mellow seniors who just want a calm presence and some TLC. Whatever kind of care your best friend needs, I’m happy to help with drop-in visits, walks, meds, belly rubs, you name it. Also, please ask me anything if you can't find it in my profile! I'm happy to discuss extra services that you or your pet needs to feel loved, safe, and happy while you're away! I'm a hiker, mountain biker, and love long walks! I am recently retired early from the tech industry and now have time to give back to my community and neighbors! I'm available 7 days a week, and for overnights if needed and if the fit is right! Contact me anytime, and we can coordinate something that works, whether it's just hanging out with your pet or having a fun adventure! I've lived a lifetime with pets and rescued animals, so for me they are family. I treat all living things with respect, understanding, and care. I'm always thinking ahead of potential scenarios when planning any outings, making sure I'm prepared with extra leashes, treats, and/or a strong understanding of an area and what to expect.

“Deb is outstanding! She cares for my pup as if they were her own and is Ultra communicative. Lots of pics and detailed reports of the day! Highly recommended...but only for times when I don't need her! Lol”

About: Hi, we’re a family of 5 in the lower Highlands area. Sadly, we lost our family dog, Friday, last year. He was a high energy husky mix. We miss him! However, we aren’t ready to commit to adopting another dog just yet. We’d love to watch yours though! We are right across from Harrison hollow and we’re an active, outdoor family. We’ll take great care of your pooch! My husband and I both work from home & love to get out on walks during the day. We are both very active throughout the day. We have a back yard that is fenced in & room to run around in the back. We live close to walking trails and the foothills where we will take your dog on walks.
