About: I’ve always been the go-to for my neighbors when it came to dog sitting or watching them when they were out running errands! I’ve also grown up with dogs and I’m great at working with all types of behaviors and different personalities so if you have an anxious pup I have no problem working with them:) I work from 8-5 on weekdays so I would use my hour long lunch to come and hangout with your pup or I could also come after work. I always make sure to choose friendly paths for dogs to walk on and do my research to ensure they will have plenty of time to walk around and sniff on their walks.
“Jordan did a fantastic job with our drop in visits! She arrived on time and made sure our pups had ample play time. She provided photos and a summary after each visit. Highly recommend!”

“Alinda followed all instructions and took very good care of our kitty! Alinda was detail-oriented and a great communicator. We absolutely recommend booking with her”

“Christin did an incredible job pet sitting my pup! I have no concerns or complaints, and am just so appreciative that it was her caring for my special-needs dog. We will definitely be requesting her services during future trips!”

“Adrianna was fantastic with our kitty while we were away! She was very responsive and easy to work with. Our cat can be very shy and doesn't always warm up to new people, but Adrianna was very patient and kind with her. We would be thrilled to have her look after our cat in the future.”

“Lauryn was awesome! We contacted her last minute as we had to leave pretty quickly with no one available to help out with our dogs. She sent pictures of them at each drop-in, which gave us some relief. Would definitely recommend! Thank you Lauryn.”

About: I am always the first person to volunteer to petsit because my parents did not want pets when I was growing up! So I am of course the cool aunt and/or godmother to many of my friends and familys pets. Consider me the cool mom. Snacks and snuggles are ready for your pet at all times! I currently work remotely so I have an incredibly flexible schedule that allows me to petsit when I want! I can go on walks, cuddle, and feed your pet whenever they need! I happily petsit at my clients house so pets feel safe and comfortable in their own spaces. I will ensure your house stays clean and tidy during my stay!
“ANDREA was great. My other sitter that I had booked through Rover flaked out and cancelled at the 11th hour, leaving me scrambling to find a replacement immediately, as I had to catch a plane. She got me out of a jam, did a great job, and I'm very grateful.”

About: I’ve taken care of animals for friends and family members for over 10 years. I was involved in raising animals with 4H and FFA during my childhood. I have primarily taken care of dogs and cats. I look forward to taking care of your furry family members while you’re hopefully enjoying your time away from home! I’m currently working full time from 8am to 4:30/5pm Monday through Friday. During the week, I am available for drop in visits in the morning before work, during lunch, and after 5pm for overnight visits. I am very flexible with availability on the weekends for day and overnight pet care. I unfortunately am not able to have pets at my house. But I am more than happy to do drop in visits and walks for your pets, overnight care during the week/weekend in your home where your pets feel the most comfortable!
About: I have been taking care of dogs since I was 13. The first dog I had to care for was my own, when I got my dog Dash my dad said we could keep her if my siblings and I took care of her. She is now 10 years old and the greatest responsibility I have taken care of in my life. I also started dog sitting for friends and family not long after. I have taken care of older dogs who need medication and help with their mobility. Puppies who have been from 1 month to 1 year old, whether it was stopping by afterschool to let them out while potty training or keeping them active. I’ve taken care of dogs from complicated backgrounds who need more time to open up. One of the dogs I regularly take care of was a rescue who didn’t like men and was scared of new people I would spend time with the family in their home so the dog could get used to me before i would take care of him on my own. Understanding a dogs personality and being respectful of their space is always important to learn to establish a connection with a dog. Adapting to their routine makes for an easy transition for both dog and owner. I enjoy caring for dogs and getting to know them, there’s nothing greater then having a dog by your side. I am more compatible with pets who can go a few hours without supervision. Currently I am home for break from college and have most of my schedule free. In the summer when I come back to Boise I work a part time job. So being able to leave for a few hours works the best for me. When taking care of someone else’s pet I always ask as many questions as possible, based on both the pet and owner. Learning their routines, personalities and quirks helps me best adapt to the lifestyle both pet and owner share. When taking care of a pet in their own home being respectful and responsible is a must not only do I have to earn the pets trust but also the owners. I am being trusted with someone’s beloved pet and want to make sure it’s easy for both parties. I have a chiwinne named Dash who is my pride and joy. She loves to lounge in the sun, in warmer weather she will always be outside in our fully fenced backyard where we can see her. She likes to go on a small walk each day and play inside with her toys. Dash would rather stay laying in her bed or the couch all day if she could but we always try to keep her healthy and safe. Being part winner dog she still has a long spine, we always try to make sure she’s careful from not hurting herself.
“Angela was great. She came and did a meet-and-greet with my pet. My dog has some specific needs and Angela accommodated all of them. She is great with communication and is hasty with responses. Would definitely recommend.”

“Sabrina has watched my cat twice now and does such a fabulous job! She sends me lots of pictures and updates and even changed out my smoke detector battery that was beeping!”
“Nicole helped me out with my Maine Coon after not only 1 but 2 Rover sitters cancelled last minute. My cat is normally very skittish so I wasn’t expecting her to get any pics of him as he typically hides from new people but I got the best pics of him in her lap, just as comfortable as could be. So stoked to have found our go-to sitter! Thanks again, Nicole!”

“Sarah always does a fantastic job. Its always scary leaving my very senior (and grumpy) kitty in someone else's hands but I know he is well cared for by Sarah. I hope to continue to book with her for all my future trips.”

“Sara handled our anxious ridden diabetic cat so well while we were gone. It was our first time putting the responsibility of blood glucose testing and insulin injections in someone else’s hands and Sara put our minds at ease while we were gone. Our kitty is not the easiest thing to put up with and we are so grateful for Sara doing it for us! We will definitely use her again!”

“Maddy was very thorough each time she dropped in to take care of my kitties. Each visit included pictures and comments about the visit. It was obvious she fed them well and provided plenty of water for them. Maddy was very supportive and made me feel very reassured they were in great hands. I highly recommend Maddy!”

About: I’ve owned cats or dogs pretty much my entire life. Currently, I own a border collie mix and love spending time with her. I love getting to know other animals and have dog/cat sitting experience with neighbor's pets also. Currently, I’m working as an on call wildland firefighter that should get going here in about the next few months or so. I’m pretty much always available, unless I will be on a fire. I love interacting and getting to know pets in general. I also prioritize communication with the owners to keep them informed of what is going on.
East End pet parents share their Rover experiences
Kristi did a great job taking care of our cats. She sent lots of updates/pictures. We have an old house and it makes lots of weird noises, she was concerned and asked us about the noises versus ignoring them. It was nice to know someone was taking care of our cats and keeping an eye on our house.

Tiffany cared for my two cats while my pup and I went camping for a weekend. I had no service during the entire trip, which would normally make me feel anxious about leaving pets at home, but I was confident that they were in good hands! Once I got service again, I caught up on all the detailed updates Tiffany provided about my happy kitties.

Monique is amazing when it comes to communication. She’s super responsive, answers questions quickly, and always keeps me in the loop, which makes everything feel easy and stress-free. Lucy absolutely loves her, like lose-her-mind excited loves her, and it’s obvious she feels comfortable and cared for every time. Honestly, Lucy already looks forward to the next time she gets to see her - and that says everything. 🐾

This was my first time with Taylor and it was a great experience. She is very responsive and timely. My pet had very specific needs and she was able to meet all his needs and even came to meet Otis before the scheduled visits. She left detailed notes of how the visits went and left pictures of my pet. I would definitely recommend Taylor!

Lauryn is outstanding. I am a repeat customer, and that alone speaks volumes about the level of trust and consistency she provides. She is dependable, attentive, and truly understands animal care. She followed every instruction, communicated clearly, and made sure my pets were safe, comfortable, and happy. I had complete peace of mind while I was away. I highly recommend her and will absolutely continue using her in the future.

Brooke was so amazing with our new puppy Bruce!!!! She made me feel confident leaving our 10 week old in her care while I had a busy school schedule and was out of the house. She is super responsive and sends updates which soothed any anxiety I had being away from the pup. Thank you Brooke!
