My husband Chris and I are both lifelong animal lovers! When I was 7 years old, my family moved from the suburbs to a large ranch here in Idaho, where I was thrown head first into the wide world of animal care. I cared for multiple types of animal on a daily basis, and assisted in dog training, boarding horses, and the birthing of dogs, horses, and cats. Most importantly, I absolutely fell in love with animals as a whole during my time living there, and have continued caring for animals long since! I have plenty of experience with animals through all stages of life, from the excitement of early youth and potty-training, to our most beloved senior friends who need extra love and accommodations. I have personally enjoyed having pet chickens, ducks, horses, hamsters, rats, chinchillas, dogs, cats, guinea pigs, and rabbits, and I currently care for and enjoy the company of our two sweet and friendly little dogs, Rory and Luna, and our playful Chinchilla, Finley. I am dedicated to being in tune with each animal and their individual personalities, unique quirks and tells, likes and dislikes, and personal sensitivities - like fireworks or people wearing hats. I have had such wonderful experiences with so many sweet animals, and I would love to extend my passion, care, and personal touch to your treasured chosen family members as well!

Safety, trust & environment
Personalized care is so important for everyone involved, especially your pet! If possible, a meet-and-greet with your little one would be ideal in order to establish trust and familiarity! I believe in getting down on their level and letting them approach me at their own pace, so they know that I’m a friend with good intentions. After building trust, play-time and exercise is always a priority of mine. Knowing their diet and feeding schedule is also important to me so I know how to keep your little one’s belly healthy and happy. I will always customize your pet’s care to fit their age, physical state, needs and personality - and of course, your preferences! You are just as much a part of this process as they are, so please always feel free to express your wishes, expectations, and boundaries. An important part of bonding and trust-building with your pet is affection, so knowing what your pet prefers will play an essential role in how I care for them, whether it be giving them their own personal space with love and care, or plenty of up-close snuggles and belly rubs! If your pups would do better with having their own space (away from our own two friendly pups) while staying in our home, we also have a dedicated separate indoor area with full access to our fenced-in back yard. I will always put you and your little one’s health and happiness first, and will gladly send plenty of photos and videos to put your mind at ease while you’re apart!

Schedule
As someone who is home full time, my time for love and care is plentiful! As an owner of two sweet and friendly little dogs, pet care is already a regular part of my daily routine - with plenty of time to spare for you and yours!
