“Ashley and her family were fantastic with Eddie. I was very anxious about leaving him for so long and for the first time alone. But the second she opened the door for our Meet and Greet, Eddie walked right in and didn't park, and he always barks at new people. She sent pictures every day and gave us updates. It is comforting knowing that I have somewhere to take him whenever the need arises. I would highly recommend Ashley and Charles!!”

“We are so happy with Vicky and Bob. We took our yorkie to them for the first time for 8 days. They took such great of her. They sent us pictures of her every day and sent them to us. They treated her just the way we treat her with love and snuggles:) We would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for excellent care of your pet. Sincerely Doug and Nita Stern”

“Elizabeth & Alexander were so amazing! I went on a trip where I had no cell service and felt completely comfortable to leave my dog in their care. I came back with so many updates. My dog has many, many quirks and he was so happy to be in their home! I would recommend them to everyone.”

“Amanda is wonderful to work with. We felt so comfortable with our dog Rocco staying with her. Rocco is always loved and taken good care of. Thank you Amanda for keeping us updated and sending pictures.”

“Great first experience with Lori. Sent lots of photos of my 2 dogs. Above average communication. Got my dogs plenty of exercise. I will be booking Lori next time I go out of town. Thanks again Lori!”

“I booked Tasha for my dog Milo and had a great experience! You can tell Tasha cares for her clients (and their owners). I got many updates thoroughout the day including pictures! I would definitely use Tasha again. I especially loved the report card after we got back from our trip. It’s nice to know that I didn’t have to worry about Milo during our vacation. He was well taken care of, highly recommend Tasha.”

“We loved our first experience with Jillian and her family and we are now repeat costumers. Thank you Jillian for loving our furry friend and caring for him while we were away.”

“We hate leaving our precious lab Lucy when we go out of town but felt she was in great hands with Bobbie. She obviously loves dogs and treated Lucy like a part of her family. Bobbie was very flexible and accommodating with our schedule and we really appreciated that, and we’ll definitely ask her to watch Lucy in the future.”

“Michael, Wendy and their sweet family were amazing with our Charlie! We joked that he might be disappointed to get picked up! It was wonderful to have such peace of mind knowing our puppers was in great hands.”

“Lindsay was amazing!!! Our 5 month old puppy stayed with her for over a week and it was the best experience. She worked with her on some basic training, got her to sleep in a crate and sent daily pictures and updates! We will definitely use her again in the future!!”

“Alyssa and Jacob were amazing hosts! Will definitely use them again for Fritz. Great communication. We got a lot of updates and he looked like he had a blast! Came back very happy which was nice to see as Fritz can be nervous and shy in new places!”

“In our greet and meet interview our dog felt comfortable right away with the other dogs. We felt a relief as this is the first time we leave our dog with someone else that is not family or friend. We could see that is a caring family and he would be treated as part of it. During his stay, we got pictures showing us how great he was doing. That was something our family really liked.”

“Junior and Teddy had a ball!! They made new friends and received a lot of cuddles. ❤️ Angela was great at sending pictures and keeping me posted on their shenanigans! The boys will be excited for our next vacation so they can go visit!”

“Jess is absolutely fantastic. This was our first time using Rover and Jess set the bar high. She is kind, accommodating, and courteous. She gave daily updates on our little buddy and I know that he was extremely pampered and well taken care of. Thanks so much again for everything Jess, and for getting us in last minute. You are the best!”

“Dee was an awesome sitter! She took extra special care of our pups and made sure all of their needs were met. She was also great at communicating and planning. I recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy sitter! She is amazing!!!”

Highlands dog parents share their Rover experiences
This was our second time using Elizabeth and her family. They are hands down the best dog sitters we’ve found. Having kids, our dog is used to being around a lot of daily activity. They give Dixie a lot of attention, hikes, snuggles and outside time. We will be using them again and again!

Angelina and her husband were wonderful with my senior dog. They sent photos and videos and he was comfortable and happy during his time with them. They were very good about introducing their dogs with mine slowly and intentionally. Would highly recommend them to anyone.
Adam was great! From the moment we did a meet and greet with the dogs I knew Ava would be in good hands. I think she was even a little sad to leave her new friends when I picked her up haha. I would trust Adam to watch Ava again and I’m sure she would love to have playtime with her new friend Huck again.
