Treating Your Pets Like Family
I’ve grown up with dogs and cats my entire life and have extensive hands-on experience caring for pets of all ages and needs. Last year, I rescued a senior dog and cared for him through recovery from double leg surgery, giving me firsthand experience with post-procedure care, mobility support, and close monitoring. I also administered monthly arthritis injections, so I’m comfortable giving injectable medications when needed. That summer, I took him to Alaska, where we spent our time hiking and enjoying the outdoors together. He sadly passed away from old age after a wonderful year, but caring for him reinforced my passion for providing patient, loving, and attentive care to animals. I currently have two female cats of my own, ages 4 and 5. One requires oral medication twice daily, so I’m very comfortable administering oral meds as well. I’m also fostering a friend’s male cat while she’s away at school, giving me experience managing multi-pet households.

Our two dogs stayed with Gwenyth for 4 nights and had a wonderful time! Gwenyth is very friendly, easy to work with, and super responsible. She is a genuine animal lover, took our pups for good walks, and made them feel right at home while we were away. A true gem!
Gwen was amazing to my marlow! went above and beyond. can definitely tell she loves the dogs she sits like her own.

Gwenyth took great care of my dog when he stayed with her for a weekend. She was always very responsive and easy to coordinate with. I'd definitely recommend boarding your pet with her.

Gwen is amazing! Her communication and flexibility are top - notch. Her genuine care and affection for my dogs put mind at ease while I was away. I came home to relaxed and happy pups!

Gwen has watched my dog Tuck and my cat Galaxy a few different times. She has done an amazing job keeping my fur babies safe, happy, and healthy. My cat is an anxiety ball and does better when my dog is around so Gwen would go out of her way to give her time with Tuck when she was in class and couldn't be there constantly. I love how she was with both of them. My cat also doesn't like any person other than me and she let Gwen pick her up and play with her! She is amazing and I would trust her with my fur babies any day, any time. I am also an anxiety ball and have a hard time leaving my fur babies with anyone when I go out of town. She made sure to keep me updated every day I was gone throughout the day and gave them lots of love and cuddles. They always looked so happy and Gwen did an amazing job! Love her!! Highly recommend!!
Gwen has watched my Westie Etta multiple times. She is such an animal lover so it makes me feel so safe knowing that she is the one watching Etta when I leave out of town. I will always use her as my sitter! She is great about giving my dog attention, lots of walks, and treats :)

Schedule
Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine, and I plan my schedule to make sure pets are never left waiting for attention or potty breaks. On days I have classes, I structure visits and walks around them so dogs get potty breaks every 3–4 hours at most, and often more frequently depending on their needs. I have no classes on Wednesdays, which allows for extra flexibility, longer visits, and additional walks or enrichment. I also aim to get 10,000 steps daily and frequently walk my neighbor’s dog at Camel’s Back Park, so regular walks and outdoor time are already part of my routine. Overall, pets in my care can expect consistent check-ins, timely potty breaks, and plenty of movement and attention throughout the day, with schedules tailored to each pet’s needs and comfort.
Where your pet will stay
Home characteristics
Safety, trust & environment
Safety and comfort are my top priorities. I live in a second-story apartment with no yard, which means pets are always leashed and closely supervised when outside. I’m careful with doors, stairways, and transitions in and out of the apartment to ensure pets stay secure at all times. While I don’t have a private yard, I’m located very close to Camel’s Back Park, allowing for regular, structured walks and fresh-air breaks in a safe, familiar environment. I tailor outings to each pet’s energy level and needs, whether that’s a calm stroll or extra time to explore. Inside, my home is clean, pet-friendly, and calm, with plenty of attention given to monitoring behavior, comfort, and safety. I follow all owner instructions closely to make sure pets feel secure and cared for in my home and during every outing.
Pets
A typical day
A typical day with the pets I watch is centered around keeping them happy, comfortable, and on a consistent routine. We start the day with breakfast, potty breaks, and indoor play or enrichment tailored to their energy level, along with plenty of affection and attention throughout the day. I make sure pets get regular check-ins and opportunities to relax or play depending on their needs. In the evening, we go on a walk to get fresh air and stretch their legs, often near Camel’s Back Park, followed by dinner on schedule and calm, cozy downtime so your pet feels relaxed and at home while you’re away.
