Kara walked our dog daily for three weeks while I was out of the country. This was a last minute trip, but Kara was still able to squeeze us in on short notice. She always gave our dog a long walk and was very responsive, despite the 14 hour time difference. I really appreciated Kara’s patience with our constantly changing schedule and can’t recommend her enough!

About: Hi! I’m excited to offer pet care in Garden City, Idaho. I’ll come to your home to let your pets out, feed them, and give them lots of attention. My husband and I have two dogs and we really love taking care of animals. We’ve pet-sat for multiple families through Rover, and you can check out our reviews. We’ve also house-sat while looking after pets in their homes through Rover. I’ve always had a passion for caring for dogs and making sure they are happy, healthy, and well-cuddled. As pet owners ourselves, we know how important it is to keep your furry friends safe, fed, and loved. We go the extra mile to make sure your pets feel comfortable and cared for while you’re away. Pet care is a big part of our daily lives, and we are passionate about making sure our furry friends are happy and well-cared for. Since we work from home, my husband and I start the day by taking our pets out for a morning walk and breakfast. Throughout the day, we make sure they are comfortable and never left waiting. We also love taking our dogs hiking and on long walks along the Greenbelt, giving them plenty of exercise and adventure. In the evenings, we focus on quality time, playing games like tug of war and letting them run and explore our spacious 2-acre yard. For us, caring for pets isn’t just a responsibility—it’s a joy and an important part of our everyday routine. As an experienced pet owner, I understand how important it is for your pets to feel comfortable and cared for while you’re away. In our home, every pet receives individual attention, with separate feeding and walks to make sure all their needs are met. They will have plenty of playtime with our dogs and can even join us on trips to the park for exercise and fun. We also provide cozy sleeping areas, fresh water, and nutritious meals. Regular walks, games, and mental stimulation help keep your pets happy, healthy, and relaxed while you are out of town.

About: Taking care of the neighborhood animals was my first “job,” I knew all the pets on the block. Ever since I was 10 up until I graduated high school and left for college I was always watching someone’s pets. I was also fortunate enough to have a couple pets of my own, when I was 5 we got a family dog Petey and when I proved myself responsible at the age of 12 I got my own dog Buddy. I got Buddy during quarantine so I got to spend a lot of time raising and training him as a puppy. But since leaving for college and being away from Buddy I’ve had a dog sized hole in my life that I’d love to fulfill. I’m currently a student at BSU and I have classes Mon-Wed from 9am to 4:30pm, so I’m not available those in the mornings on those days but Thur-Sun are completely open. With my current living situation I cannot accommodate pet care in my home, but I can take on any and all responsibilities needed in your home.

About: Hi there, fellow dog lover! I’m Cynthia, and I’m so glad you stopped by... I live in the beautiful North End of Boise and have been pet sitting for years, caring for everything from high-energy pups to wise old senior dogs and plenty of cats, and occasionally horses, and small animals too! I grew up around Saint Bernards, so I’ve been wrangling big dogs since I could walk. Our house was kind of a magnet for animals in need....strays, rescues, you name it. We never turned them away and either kept them or helped find them forever homes with family and friends. That experience shaped how I care for animals today...patient, flexible, and with a lot of heart. I’m comfortable with pups of all ages and temperaments, whether they’re anxious zoomers or mellow seniors who just want a calm presence and some TLC. Whatever kind of care your best friend needs, I’m happy to help with drop-in visits, walks, meds, belly rubs, you name it. Also, please ask me anything if you can't find it in my profile! I'm happy to discuss extra services that you or your pet needs to feel loved, safe, and happy while you're away! I'm a hiker, mountain biker, and love long walks! I am recently retired early from the tech industry and now have time to give back to my community and neighbors! I'm available 7 days a week, and for overnights if needed and if the fit is right! Contact me anytime, and we can coordinate something that works, whether it's just hanging out with your pet or having a fun adventure! I've lived a lifetime with pets and rescued animals, so for me they are family. I treat all living things with respect, understanding, and care. I'm always thinking ahead of potential scenarios when planning any outings, making sure I'm prepared with extra leashes, treats, and/or a strong understanding of an area and what to expect.

About: I’m a lifelong dog lover with many years of experience owning and caring for dogs of all breeds and sizes, from labs to pits to Great Danes. Current owner of one four year old Dutch Shepherd/ACD mix. I've looked after many friends and family members pets over the years. Looking forward to help care for your four-legged family members! My availability is essentially open at the moment and you can catch me on daily walks with my own dog around the neighborhood or at the park. I take pride in being dependable, patient, and attentive to each animal’s unique personality and needs. Whether it’s daily walks, playtime, or quiet companionship, I focus on keeping your pet comfortable and safe. I have a fenced yard on a low-traffic street and a very friendly dog of my own who I don't think has ever met another dog he didn't like. I am able to keep your dog and mine separate and still give them the full attention they deserve while under my care, or allow them to play and walk together. Entirely your preference.

About: Hello! I go by Elliot! Im excited to get to know your little friends! I have always loved animals ever since I was little. I have always had a dog and cat in my home. I currently have two dogs, one cat, and three chickens! One dog is an Olde English bulldog, and the other is an old Golden Retriever English lab! I walk them both with my family everyday. I am currently 19 years old in my first year at BSU. So, Rover is a perfect way to fit a flexible schedule way of work with my schooling. SCHOOL YEAR: I can walk and drop in before/after school and in evenings. SUMMER: I can walk dogs early in the morning and in the evenings. I can do drop-ins whenever needed and can house sit whenever needed. WALKING: I will walk your dog/s for however long you wish. I will come prepared with treats and a leash! DROP INS: I will drop in whenever needed. I can feed, hang out, and play with your dogs. I can let them out to play and make them feel loved!

About: Ever since I was young, I’ve been able to focus on the patience, communication, and creating a calm and trusting bond with all my pets as well as friends and family. Every pet gets personalized attention, routine and genuine care as if they were my own. As a special add-in, I will also keep bowls clean, small messes handled and your pets space clean and comfortable while you’re away. Pet care will be a big part of my daily routine while I’m off work for the next few months caring for my child. I plan to dedicate my full attention to providing quality care, daily walks, playtime and consistent communication with pet parents. This time allows me to focus on building strong relationships with pets and their owners while treating this experience as a professional commitment. I keep pets comfortable in their own space, following their routine with care and respect. I leave every home spotless and every pet happy. I have a philosophy, I leave every persons home and pet in the same or better condition as it was left to me.

About: I have always had animals in my life. Cats, dogs, birds. I have cared for small and large breeds. Raised Rottweilers and our latest rescue is a Pitbull Mastiff mix from Boise Bully Breed. I have cared for pets with special needs also enjoy senior pets. I work part time from home with a very flexible schedule, just need a couple hours a week on my laptop. Available for day and night walks. Over nights work for me as well. Our 3 dogs and 1 cat are all very spoiled. The dogs are seniors so their exercise is always age appropriate. When we have foster pups they all step up for quiet play. Whenever I care for others pets I always want to specialize the care for what works best for the animal. I know my own pets are use to their routines and I think it's important to maintain those as pets can often get anxious when moms and dads are gone.

About: I’ve had dogs and cats my whole life. Most recently I had a tabby cat named Finn. I’ve also pet/house sat for my aunt’s dogs and cat since they were babies. I’ve also volunteered at the Humane Society since 2016. In 2020, I became a long-term volunteer at their foster department where I managed their daily meds, foster parents, and cleaning. I also have experience with pets with medical needs, such as pill and syringe administration. I recently moved back to Boise and am starting school at BSU in the fall. I'm taking all online classes. Rover is my main source of income, so I have a very flexible schedule to work with you and spend quality time with your pets! I like to accommodate how I care for pets in my client's home based on the pet's need and client's request. Usually this consists of ample outdoor time, exercise, regular feeding schedules, and stimulation.

About: I've lived with and cared for dogs my entire life, and love spending time with dogs as often as I’m able! I’ve lived at a small dog shelter for a short time taking care of dogs of all sizes and temperaments, and I’m happy to provide the correct care for each dog. I work full time, usually 8am-5:30pm near downtown Boise. I understand this is tough for many pets’ schedules, and, when possible, I am happy to check in on pets during my lunch. I am available any hours that I am not at work and I’m happy to do overnight stays any day of the week! I love to spend time with dogs in whatever way they may need, whether it's playing and stimulating their mind, feeding them whatever diet is best for them, taking them on walks, or just providing them with some company!

About: I love all types and breeds of dogs! I have been dog sitting semi-regularly for the last couple years, ranging from Jack Russell Terriers up to Great Danes. I have two high-energy and needy dogs of my own, so I am very well versed in caring for dogs that need a lot of attention. One of my dogs is older, so I am also experienced in caring for senior dogs. I love taking dogs for walks or runs on the greenbelt or in the foothills. I will make sure your dog gets lots of attention and walks in our time together! I am here nearly the entire summer and am very flexible on times/dates that I'm available for. I look forward to caring for your fluffy friends!

Mattison was awesome! She pulled through for me when I was gone on vacation, contacting her last minute to pick up my lab puppy (and all his belongings) from someone else’s house and bring him back to mine. She took him for a walk, and got him all set up in our house without ever meeting him or being at our house before. A+, don’t hesitate to use her.
