About: I have been pet sitting since I was about 12 for people in my town. I have various pets of my own back in my hometown. I have a dog, 3 cats, chickens, and cows and I loved them so much I decided to become a veterinarian. I have learned countless of tasks while working at a vet clinic, so I feel very qualified. About: My wife and I love dogs and are excited to have the opportunity to care for your small to medium breed non-aggressive dog(s) under 35 lbs. (Please be advised that our experience has shown that the high energy cattle /sheep dogs, shepherds, etc., are generally not a good fit for us). We both have had dogs all of our lives. We have the experience of caring for dogs through their feeding, grooming, exercising, bathing, and of course lots of loving through their senior years. We are both retired, so your dog(s) will have lots of loving attention and care throughout its/their stay. We have a doggie door so your dog(s) can have free access to our large fenced backyard. We accept only one client at a time and up to three dogs IF they are from the same client, so we can give your dog(s) our undivided attention and love. We have one dog, Jax (Cavalier King Charles). He is very loving, playful, and unaggressive. Weather permitting and with your approval, we will include your dog(s) in our daily walks in our neighborhood and excursions to local parks. However we do not allow our dog and your dog(s) in "dog parks" and do not allow them to have exposure to other dogs on our walks. Since we are retired, we will also give lots of cuddles and play in between outings, to keep them engaged. We have a dog toy box full of toys for them to play with, if they want. About: I have been taking care of dogs since I was 13. The first dog I had to care for was my own, when I got my dog Dash my dad said we could keep her if my siblings and I took care of her. She is now 10 years old and the greatest responsibility I have taken care of in my life. I also started dog sitting for friends and family not long after. About: I have been taking care of family/friend pets through the entirety of high school and afterwards. I have worked with a positive feedback trainer with my dog and have been able to apply those teachings to other behaviors in animals. I also know how to handle medications for dogs, from pills, intestine liquids, and topical creams. I absolutely adore big dogs and will totally let them be lap dogs. I love little dogs, even if they try to be ferocious creatures. I work a part-time job and am focusing most of my free time to medical concerns. I traditionally work in the early morning, 6-12. This leaves my afternoons free for the pets, but I can figure out how to care for them in the morning if necessary. Beyond that, I want to maintain active with the animals, playing, cuddling and taking for walks. I have 3 dogs of varying sizes (8, 25, & 100). They have different diets and activity levels, but all maintain their appropriate body weight. We have a fenced backyard for them to roam around in. The big dog is an anxious creature so he gets put in the crate when everyone leaves the house. I specifically worked with him on it and he has done wonderfully with positive reinforcement. I am able to transfer this knowledge to other animals, it might just take a few tries. Access to treats might help 😋. For walks, I can handle dogs big dogs and the ones that pull pretty well. I refuse to use choke chains and shock collars. If they are wearing one, I would like (with your permission) to switch it for a regular collar during the time of my stay.

She has a warm, caring presence, and her home feels just the same — with a great yard for the pups to play. We felt totally at ease leaving them with her. She kept us updated with pictures and even took them for a walk (with our okay first). Highly recommend!”
