(Please be advised that our experience has shown that the high energy cattle/sheep dogs, shepherds, etc., are generally not a good fit for us). We both have had dogs all of our lives. We have the experience of caring for dogs through their feeding, grooming, exercising, bathing, and of course lots of loving through their senior years. We are both retired, so your dog(s) will have lots of loving attention and care throughout its/their stay. We have a doggie door so your dog(s) can have free access to our large fenced backyard. We generally accept only one client at a time, so we can give your dog(s) lots of attention and love. We do sometimes allow an overlap with another client's dog, but only if we know the dogs involved get along well. We have one dog, Jax (Cavalier King Charles). He is very loving, playful, and unaggressive. Weather permitting and with your approval, we will include your dog(s) in our daily walks in our neighborhood and excursions to local parks. However we do not allow our dog and your dog(s) in "dog parks" and do not allow them to have exposure to other dogs on our walks. Since we are retired, we will also give lots of cuddles and play in between outings, to keep them engaged. We have a dog toy box full of toys for them to play with, if they want. Just click on our profile pictures to see our "Doggie Hall of Fame" photos which show our care of our clients' dogs. We will follow your instructions, including for special needs, to make sure of your pet(s)’ total care and safety. We have a large and comfy single level home with 24/7 access to a large secure backyard and a doggie door. We will give potty breaks to those dogs that don't want to use the doggie door every couple of hours or as needed. We also have 24/7 video surveillance both inside and outside for their safety. Your dog(s) will have access to the entire house and is/are welcome to cuddle on the furniture, and can sleep in our bedroom in a doggie bed or crate, whichever your pet prefers.
