About: I’m a sucker for anyone on four legs and have worked as a professional dog walker, cat wrangler, and pet sitter for fifteen years. I’ve also worked and volunteered in animal rescue, and have fostered several special needs bullies rescued from cruelty cases. About: I've taken care of cats and dogs for as long as I can remember. I am extremely comfortable with all kinds of pets, and am passionate about providing the best care for your animals as possible I am currently home in Santa Barbara for the summer, and am extremely flexible. I have a car and can provide pet care daily, at times that work for you and your pets. I am unable to provide pet care in my own home, but can travel to your home as well as take your pets to parks or other approved locations in order for them to have the best experience.

“I have a Great Pyrenees puppy, newly rescued off the L.A. streets a couple of weeks ago, with no I.D. or training at all. She is big and strong and I am not, so I needed the right dog-walker for the 50-pound dog, and picked Kayla K. because she raised her own 100-lb. Labrador from his puppyhood. I cannot praise Kayla enough! We started with a dog dancing around, getting tangled underfoot, and grabbing the leash like a toy. That behavior is nearly all gone now. Kayla is prompt, warm, friendly, outgoing, brought the right collar/leash combo. (now I've bought my own). My puppy gets excited when she hears Kayla's car in the driveway, and greets her joyously, and comes home nicely tired out and smiling. I took my dog yesterday to a professional dog trainer to get some help with crating and commands (like down and come), and he, a professional, was extremely impressed with my dog's calm heeling abilities that she had acquired, thanks to Kayla.”

About: I’ve taken care of both big and small dogs since I was around 8… feeding, walking, bathing, picking up poop… you name it. I know each person has particular methods and/or routines and I am more then happy to accommodate. I recently graduated from UCSB and am applying to graduate school now! I work in the evenings mostly so I’m very available for morning walks or house sitting if necessary :) In my home I make sure my pets are well loved and cared for as well as engaged with. Wether it’s outdoor dogs, indoor dogs with house rules, a walking schedule or feeding routine I’m here for it :) I’m not afraid to ask questions if I’m unsure of something either.

About: Hi I’m college student at sbcc! I have of my own two dogs and have volunteered at the SPCA for about 3 years now! I love going on walks, working out, reading and hanging out with family and friends when I’m not in school. I currently have a part time job during the evenings but my mornings and specific nights are wide open! I am a very positive and optimistic person who loves to see the world :) I love doing morning walks and just working out in general, I also love animals! So I feel like providing per services fit perfectly into my schedule! With dogs I typically try to see if they are shy or more outgoing but doesn’t matter either way because I love any kind of dog! All dogs with be properly taken care of with food, water and love!

About: I’m a retired restaurateur who just moved from the PNW to get out of the rain, catch a breath, check out new surroundings and do what brings me the most joy; dogs! I’m excited to have new furry buddies to check out the sights with. After I closed my restaurants I started pet sitting and doing walks. I've been on another petsitting app for the past couple years where I have all 5 stars, but I transitioned to Rover to hopefully gain more clients. I’m very assertive and controlled in my care with pets while always keeping in mind your directions and wishes. I've also spent a lot of time volunteering at shelters. I’ve owned three wonderful pitties, my latest I said goodbye to last year, so I’m great with bigger breeds as well! Please give me a chance to build my clientele in Santa Barbara Co! During my free time the first thing I look forward to are dog walks! I'm available Tuesdays & Wednesdays after 1pm and all day Thursdays & Fridays. Saturdays & Sundays I can do walks and drop-ins. Please allow me to care for your pet the way I would mine! Though I don't have a fenced yard, I make sure to keep a frequent potty break schedule and am hyper observant of your pet's cues. I can crate your pet as directed but will never pass up an opportunity for snuggles in bed or on the couch. If those are a no-go, I will make sure to respect and enforce your rules.

About: I grew up on a farm in Iowa with lots of pets! I especially love dogs and would take care of yours like it’s my own. I live up the street from shoreline park so lots of room and space for zoomies! I work from home which gives me a really flexible schedule. I’m able to be with your pup 24/7 and take walks or potty breaks whenever needed. I love spending time outdoors and enjoy runs or walks with dogs of all energy levels. Because I work from home, I can also provide plenty of companionship, cuddles, and attentive care especially for older dogs who may need a calmer pace. I’m highly experienced with dogs and always mindful of safety around other animals on walks. My home provides a secure, comfortable space for your pet with no other animals.

About: With experience in pet rescue, fostering, adopting, and sitting I offer compassionate and customized care for your pet's needs. Lover of all breeds and sizes; partial to senior dogs, I'm familiar with managing special diets, medications, or extra comfort. Safety and snuggles are the goal for every pet! I've been impacted by tech layoffs, so currently available to care for your pet at my home or yours, M-F, from 8am onwards. Plenty of notice will be given should my availability change, but my work is remote/from home so unlikely to have a huge impact on available hours. Mi casa, or Su casa! I'm in a single family home with a fenced yard. The yard area is accessible all day. I've got one small, dog-friendly, senior frenchie that will gladly share his cots, blankets, and toys but will likely ignore your dog most of the day cuz he's too busy napping. You're welcome to bring crates, beds, blankets, or toys to make your fur baby comfortable. But we love to share ours. Water bowls are accessible all day. I'm happy to provide food, treats, and/or meds per your instructions.

About: I have 2 cats and 1 dog , have worked with trainers to learn how to better understand my fur babies. I have also volunteered at shelters and learned different techniques of how to understand body movements and signs to better assist with their needs. I love my fur babies and will treat yours as I would want mine treated. I love being outdoors and what better way than with a fur baby.I am available for walks and check In's Monday - Friday and all weekend I will make sure to communicate the needs of the individual fur baby to make sure all needs are met. Go over any stresses or triggers the pet might have.
