About: Hi, I'm Julia! I’ve been house/dog/cat sitting for over 6 years and I've loved animals since I was little, stopping to pet every dog on my walks :) Something that sets me apart is that I’m just as restless as your pets, so they will never miss a daily walk. Another fun fact is that I would do this for free if I didn’t have to make money! I can't wait to meet your pets! I'm currently working 8am-1pm Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Outside of this and a few evening commitments (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday nights for a couple hours) I’m free to be with your pets! About: I have spent my entire life surrounded by animals of all sizes and temperaments. I am very comfortable handling a wide range of personalities on and off leash. Currently I have two dogs who are reactive, so I’m very familiar with managing behavior challenges calmly and safely. I’m experienced in giving medications when needed and take pride in providing calm, consistent, and loving care. I have a flexible schedule, a reliable vehicle, and am open to helping with overnights. I am not working elsewhere currently so I'm ready to make caring for your pet part of my routine! About: Hello fellow dog lovers, Our names are Mary and Ryan. We are a friendly, active, outdoorsy couple in our early forties, and we LOVE dogs. We are the go-to dog watchers for many clients and close friends. We lived in South Lake Tahoe, CA, for fourteen years and moved to the Santa Barbara area three years ago so that Mary could begin a PhD at UCSB. We are available right now for dog walking and dog watching at clients’ homes. We work most days from home, which means your dog will NOT be left home alone for most of the day. We love to hike, mountain bike, run, and hang out at dog beaches. All of these activities will be available to your dog. We have a passion for dog care that is like no other. About: I have grown up with dogs all my life! I have 2 very loving and playful bull terriers so I have lots of experience with handling high energy and strong dogs. I stay very active so whether it’s a high intensity walk or a morning stroll I can keep up with your doggies at any speed! I treat every dog like family, making sure they feel safe, happy, and loved while you’re away. I’m currently working part time but will make it a priority to fit your pets needs into my schedule! I am available Thurs, Fri, and Monday in the mornings before 10:30, Sat and Sun I am free after 2pm, and free any time Tuesdays or Wednesdays! My dogs get a high intensity bike ride run everyday and sleep in a crate in the evening with an open door incase they need to potty. About: I have always grown up around dogs, I currently have two of my own who live with my mom in my hometown. Since around the age of 13 I have watched multiple of my neighbors/ family friends pets where I would take them for walks, bathe, feed, and play with them! I currently volunteer at the Santa Barbara humane society and take the dogs out on walks from the shelter. I am currently a student at Sbcc and have a part time job but when I am not doing school or working one of my favorite things to do is go on walks so why not walk some furry friends while I'm at it. I live in a dog friendly apartment which is located right next to a park as well as good walking trails. My roomates are also dog lovers so I can ensure that your pet will be in good care.

About: I’ve been a pet owner my whole life and have always seen them as a significant part of my family. I have experience in taking care of puppies (4 weeks & up), middle aged dogs, and elderly dogs. My family has always prioritized meeting the needs of all of our pets, and I look forward to doing the same for your fur babies. :) I am currently enrolled in summer courses at UC Santa Barbara, but have plenty of free time within my schedule. I am available in the mornings before 12pm and the afternoons/evenings after 2 pm, monday-thursday. On friday and the weekends I have open availability. I currently live in a fairly small apartment with other housemates so for any overnight requests, I would prefer it to be an in-house service. For requests that are just for the day or a few hours, I would be more than happy to keep your pup safe and entertained in my home.

About: I’ve always had a special love for animals, and although I’ve never been able to have a dog or cat of my own, I have experience with dog sitting and cat sitting; whether it be day long or month long at my house, or frequent visits to others houses. I've dog-sat young puppies and elder dogs needing extra medical care. I've had 2 years of experience volunteering at local animal shelters as well! I am a full-time student at UCSB, I am usually free all day on weekends but I’m able to communicate how my class schedule will fit around caring for your pets. About: Growing up in a home full of rescue dogs, I’ve spent years surrounded by pups of all personalities and temperaments. My mom works at an animal shelter, so we’ve fostered countless dogs over the years, and I now have six of my own back home—each one a shelter rescue with their own unique quirks. This has given me plenty of experience caring for dogs who aren’t always the easiest, and I’m confident handling a wide range of behaviors. I’ve also been dog-sitting for about five years, offering both check-in visits and overnight care. As an incoming graduate student at UCSB, I really miss my dogs back home, and I’d love to spend my extra time helping other pet parents by giving their dogs the love, attention, and care they deserve! I’m currently very flexible and available as I wait for classes to begin in early October. Once school starts, my availability will shift to weekends and select weekday evenings.” When caring for pets in a client’s home, I always follow instructions closely to ensure I meet their needs and routines. About: I’ve taken care of pups, big and small, rambunctious and super calm alike, since I was 16! When I was 17, I adopted Rocco and raised/trained him in my family home in LA, and he was not the easiest pup to tame! I am so proud of him now—a whole 5 years old and the happiest, most affectionate dog on the block. I am currently living in Santa Barbara for school, but often stay in Los Angeles over the weekend. My classes and on-campus job make it easy for me to build around my weekday schedule. I am free everyday after 5pm, and my Tuesday mornings/Thursday afternoons are entirely free, so I can fit in both brisk walks and sitting sessions easily throughout the week :) At a client’s home, it’s important for me to be fully aware of any house rules and restrictions our furry friends have. I make sure to know these thoroughly beforehand and especially if the pup is shy or wary of strangers, I gauge every dog’s personality and make myself easily trustworthy and approachable. I know how to use tone/treats/commands to guide our pups when they get a little antsy or rambunctious. If we’re out on walks, I am a pro with strong dogs who pull and/or bark at other dogs, try to chase squirrels, and more. Any wild pup behavior, I’ve seen it all and am always happy to walk because it not only makes a dog’s day and puts their owner at ease, but it energizes me and makes my day, too!

About: I have been around animals my whole life from hamsters, chickens, dogs, cats, and horses since I was a little girl, I love being around pets and the joy they bring me. I used to volunteer at my local Animal Hospital when I was in high school and loved seeing all the different breeds. I recently moved to Utah from California and have been weighing out my options for work and I have come to the conclusion I would be very fulfilled taking care of pets through out the day. I’m available 7 days a week! I live in an area with a dog park and plenty of exercise to be had, I treat every animal like they are my own and would truly look after your pet to ensure they are happy and safe. I have a cat that lives with me (who grew up around dogs) and 3 dogs at my folks home, so being around dogs is nothing new to me! I didn’t bring any doggy companions with me when I moved and I miss being around them. This opportunity would be beneficial for both parties, pet owners have peace of mind knowing they are in the care of a loving human, and for me I get to be around dogs again!
