About: I've had dogs and cats in my life for as long as I can remember, so caring for them feels completely natural to me. I'm happiest when I'm out on a walk with a dog, playing fetch in the yard, or curled up on the couch with a cat on my lap. My own dog is my best friend, so I know how much your pet means to you and I treat every animal like they're my own. I'll follow your routines, keep you updated with photos, and give lots of love while you're away. I'm a student with a full life, but my pets (and yours) always come first. I build my day around their routines: regular meals, fresh water, plenty of time outside, and consistent potty breaks. I'm not home all day, so I'm a great fit for pets who do well with a steady schedule and aren't left alone for long stretches. I'll follow your routine closely and keep you posted with photos and updates. When I'm home, my pets get my full attention. We go on walks, play in the yard, and cuddle up on the couch afterward. About: I have a cat and dog of my own. For dogs, I rescued my dog at 1 years ago and trained him to do all the basic commands (sit, down, roll over, paw) and trained him to not pull on a leash. I’m open to doing that with your dog if you want. For cats, I know some are more shy and some are more outgoing. I’ve cat-sat for my family and friends and I have been in contact with different cat personalities I’m available most days from 9am-5pm to walk dogs or house-sit your pet. I am also available on weekdays all day to walk or do a check in In our home, we have trained both pets to wait and get be released when the door is open to go out. We also have fences up to make sure in case they get excited but we also make sure leashes are over before door is even opened

About: I’ve taken care and house trained dogs for over 15 years. Friends and family have relied on me to walk, feed and bathe their pets. About: We had two corgis who lived long full lives walking them out at River Park or around our old Lompoc neighborhood was always special. I believe in keeping dogs close and nurturing them with positive reinforcement. I am training for half marathons again. Our dogs were my best running buddies. I like having a pet temporarily. I work as a realtor so I am in charge of my schedule. Taking and sending photos of your dogs' stays in progress is fun. I am very responsible. Our girl corgi was a 5 week old puppy when we got her. After we adopted the boy at 2 years old he was a 4H dog that we trained and learned to train for showing. About: I’ve had two dogs so far in my life, but the one I adopted 2 years ago was completely raised by my brother and I. About: My entire life I have been surrounded by the best furry family. We had well trained, obedient and incredibly kind dogs growing up. I wished upon a star at 10 years old and voila, I got my first golden retriever puppy as a present a few weeks later. Duke Skywalker was my first big responsibility, from working on potty training to letting him off leash on hikes and on the beach. He trusted me and I trusted him. During the pandemic, he was getting older and I did what I could to help him feel comfortable and loved. Even when he wasn’t able to walk, I’d place him in the back of the car and just sit with him watching the waves cuddled up with blankets. Must have patience with the older pups, and I loved every minute. I have trained my family’s adopted pups and they caught on fast. My roommate has a cat who I help care and train for when she is out of town for work, who knew training a cat actually works. Persistence, love and patience is key! I’m currently in between jobs, figuring out if I want a career switch. I have been wanting to surround myself with pets and helping anyone who needs it. I understand not having as much time as one would like, therefore happy to lend a hand in helping walk, feed, sit, even cuddle if your pet allows. I have a big space in my home and love to go outside and enjoy the fresh air, especially if it’s along the beach on a sunny day. In a client’s home, I would play with my new furry friend in the yard if they have or research nearby safe dog parks, or parks to walk with them to. About: EXPERIENCE: My last dogs (who recently left the planet) were 85 lb Pit Bulls, so I get challenging (but amazing!) dogs. Before that, I had a wonderful Lab/Border Collie, so I get dogs who need a lot of exercise every day. He was also fairly non-ambulatory for a few years, so I’ve done a lot of senior dog care. Currently, I walk and foster dogs at the SB County Shelter to fill my dog void. ME: I love all animals, probably more than people. I’ve had, and cared for, dogs, cats, horses, rabbits… PERKS/ENVIRONMENT: I work at home, so your dog will have company most of the day. My completely fenced in yard was made for dogs to play. The back door is open so they can go in and out as they please, sniff around, lay in the sun... I love to walk, hike, and go to the beach, which are all better with a dog! I’m super responsible, especially when it comes to the well-being of furry creatures. While your dog/animal is in my care, I will care for them like my own. Most sits span several weeks, with a 4-week minimum being easiest on the schedule. I do tend to book in advance. Because I have cared for senior pets (several being older than 15: both dogs and cats, some sight or hearing or limb-disabled), administered meds which also includes insulin shots, and managed various sizes and breeds, pet parents and high end homeowners appreciate this reliability and standard. In some cases, we have only Zoomed before a sit, and never met in-person. Due to great reciprocal communication, the results were wonderful.
