About: I am on Rover to be able to serve my community in the form of pet-care! Pets are such an integral and special part of our lives and owners deserve to know their pets will be well taken care of. I grew up with cats but I love dogs equally. I would be honored to love on your little family member when you need! I am typically available early in the morning before work and then after 4pm, depending on the day. Somewhat flexible schedule pertaining to days needed. I am mindful to read all instructions left by owners. Depending on desires of the owner, I am happy to walk, play with, or just keep your little baby company!
About: I have had dogs, cats, bunnies and many other pets throughout my childhood, and am always enthusiastic about feeding, walking, washing, and playing with them. I have helped care for many of my friends and family's pets, and always enjoy taking care of them! I have also cared for many puppies. I am currently a college student, but my schedule is very flexible! I am available to care for the pets on weekends and after 12:30 on Tuesdays and Thursdays. I am willing to care for your pet in what ever way you specify. I can feed, give treats, put the dog in the crate, and take care of the pet however you would like.
About: As a former canine CPR instructor with 20 years of animal care and property management experience, I can care for your home and animals with confidence allowing you to travel with peace of mind. I have a flexible schedule and work mostly from home (part-time) allowing me to keep pets company during the day/night and maintain their regular schedule. I care for your pets in your home, allowing them to enjoy the benefit of familiar surroundings while you are away whether for a few hours or a few weeks.
“Amber was phenomenal! Very kind, followed the care plan to a T & was just a nice person in general. She was very understanding & patient with my hectic parking situation. Much appreciated! Thank you so much, if I know anyone I’ll make sure to refer them her way.”

“Maya was very responsible and took great care of our dog. She kept us updated, followed all of our instructions, and made sure our dog was safe and comfortable. We really appreciate her help and would definitely recommend her!”

“Cheryl was great with coco, we did and meet and greet before our date walk and that helped a lot since I hadn’t had that with anyone else, it sure made me happy to know the person before. Cheryl is very caring and made sure that coco had enough food and water before she left. I would definitely book her again.”

“McKenzie is the absolute best! Dependable! Wish I could use her everyday. Tries to problem solve with you, flexible. Above all, my dog Tully loves her and enjoys their brisk mile walk 💕”

“Leanna was great! She arrived here on time and the dogs came back tired and clearly had a great time on their walk/outing to the dog park. Extra grateful for her being available for our last minute request. We will definitely use Leanna again in the future :)”

About: I've always had animals and love them all. I've cared for dogs, cats, birds, fish, small animals, reptiles, and horses. My passions are rescue and bringing out the best in the scared and anxious pets I deal with in shelter and hospital. My other jobs are extremely flexible and allow me to make my own schedule, which means more availability to volunteer at shelters and care for your babies. I have 1 friendly small dog and 3 cats. My home is their sanctuary. We do frequent walks and trips to trails and beaches. I prefer to let the furbabies snuggle with us, but I have crates up to XL available if needed.

“Julia is fantastic. She seamlessly worked into my schedule with a no stress but positive attitude that provided a calming presence for my occasionally nervous rescue pup. Highly recommend!”

About: I lived on a ranch for years when I was a kid and had experience with all sorts of animals like dogs, cats, chickens, pigs, goats, rabbits, ducks, cows, and horses. I’m comfortable with all kinds of pets and look forward to meeting new people and their animals. I'm available in the middle of the day on Monday and tuesdays for your dogs walking needs. Able to do about hour or less walks. I am not able to have pets at my home due to family member allergies. I can care for your pet at your homes with the utmost care.
About: I’ve grown up around animals and have several years of experience caring for dogs and cats of all ages, sizes, and temperaments. What sets me apart is my patience, attention to detail, and genuine love for animals. I’ve helped train puppies with basic commands and crate training, and I’m also experienced in providing gentle, attentive care for senior pets—including administering medications, helping them move around comfortably, and sticking to special diets. Whether it’s playtime, walks, or overnight stays, I treat every pet like they’re my own. I also volunteer at the shelter so i’m comfortable taking care of dogs big or small along with any special care requirements they have :) I work part time but have a very open schedule! Pet care naturally fits into my routine because I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals. I make time each day for walks, play, feeding, and check-ins. Their well-being is always a priority, and I’m flexible with my schedule to accommodate their needs. In both my home and my clients’ homes, I make sure pets are safe, comfortable, and cared for. I follow all instructions carefully, keep a clean environment, and never leave pets unattended in unsafe situations. I also provide updates to help build trust and peace of mind.
About: I’ve taken care of my own dog as well as family dogs for as long as I can remember. Both rowdy and calm dogs I can handle. I’m currently in school so I have enough free time to take care of dogs throughout the week as well as house sit on the weekends. I can easily crate dogs if needed as well as take them on walks and hang out with them in a back yard or front lawn.
“Thankful for Benjamin and fitting us into his schedule for a last-minute dog-walking booking. He took great care of our dog and was easy to communicate with. Our dog got into the creek on one of his walks with Benjamin, and Benjamin did such a good job cleaning up our dog after his dip. We will book again when needed.”

About: I’ve had two dogs so far in my life, but the one I adopted 2 years ago was completely raised by my brother and I. I am very familiar with animal caretaking and training due to having pets and I have also done some pet sitting for neighbors and friends. I have experience with both dogs and cats. I love caring for pets! Knowing an animal feels loved and cared for brings me so much joy. I’m available most days as long as I’m aware a few days in advance. I try to plan ahead/schedule to make sure my dog is properly cared for everyday. I add walking my dog to my calendar so she is always given walks and never forgotten about. I feed my pets around the same time everyday and my family switches off on certain care taking jobs such as cleaning the litter box, cleaning up poops outside, baths, etc.
About: I have lived with dogs and cats all my life and have house sitting and dog walking experience. I am a trusting and happy pet lover I currently have class Monday Wednesday 9 AM to 1 PM and I am available most weekdays. I will try to fit in what ever is needed to take the excellent care of your pets and houses that is needed. I currently live with two fur babies and I feed and walk them constantly. I have lived with pets all my life and I know how to best care for them. Currently unemployed and ready for dog walking and or housesitting. Just moved home from Santa Barbara and new to the area. Looking to make some new friends and connections. I clean them, feed them, walk them and cuddle with them. I can help train them and take them for long walks around this area.
About: I’ve taken care and house trained dogs for over 15 years. Friends and family have relied on me to walk, feed and bathe their pets. Fur babies thrive on routine and respond to a set schedule for feeding, walking, playtime, and bedtime. I’m currently working part time and I’m able to schedule myself my own hours. So I’ll have plenty of time to play and dedicate myself to your pups. I provide care in your home, secure yard, or neighborhood as that’s where your pet is most familiar / comfortable. I ask you to please let me know if they have any special needs, if there are other local pets or people they do or do not get along with.
About: I’ve almost always had pets in my life of all kinds but consistently had dogs of various breeds, ages, and sizes. I’ve been a pet sitter to senior dogs and cared for multiple puppies. I currently work part-time and I am available after 1:30pm on the weekdays. I have a consistent schedule so I am available for routine and regular care or walks. I can walk any size dog or breed. With drop-in care I will play with your pup and give lots of love and belly scratches!
About: In recent years, I have built a strong trustworthy reputation via more than 80 (yep, eighty) 5-star reviews on a leading house/pet care platform. Photos of some were in here, but the system removed them. Happy to share that information with you when we are in contact. Most sits span several weeks, with a 4-week minimum being easiest on the schedule. I do tend to book in advance. Because I have cared for senior pets (several being older than 15: both dogs and cats, some sight or hearing or limb-disabled), administered meds which also includes insulin shots, and managed various sizes and breeds, pet parents and high end homeowners appreciate this reliability and standard. In some cases, we have only Zoomed before a sit, and never met in-person. Due to great reciprocal communication, the results were wonderful. I offer experience both house & pet-sitting, and am a former (& future) homeowner. I’ve had all kinds of pets throughout my entire life. In adulthood, a Lhasa Apso was my co-pilot for 13 years, and I will have others. For now, I enjoy supporting and caring for yours. Let’s Zoom and take it from there. Looking forward. We will discuss this. Historically (for more than 20 years), I have been able to work from anywhere. We can talk through the options together. Unless you hire me for an overnight sit, I will be coming to them for drop-in or other care. I will not be bringing your pet(s) to my location.

Ashley is very caring and helpful for my dog’s reoccurring walks during the work week. We were able to communicate easily regarding expectations, booking walks, and detailed updates so I knew my dog was being a good boy. She took care of following care instructions and following up with any concerns. Puff was very happy when I got back from work. Will book with Ashley again!
Caroline is the best! She has been walking my dog 5x/week this summer and is very reliable, follows instructions precisely, and is always on time! Additionally, she did some drop in visits for my dog as well. I highly recommend Caroline to anyone who needs a reliable dog walker/sitter!!!
Sholeh was wonderful with our Nori! She’s warm and easy to communicate with, and was flexible. Nori can be a nervous pup around new people, but Sholeh’s experience really showed — she was patient and gave her space to warm up at her own pace. Highly recommend, and we’ll definitely book again!

Beryl was great with my dog Taco. She's very responsive and easy to communicate with. From our exchanges I could tell she truly love and cares for dogs. She even wiped Taco's feet after the walk and gave him treats (with my approval), which I really appreciated. I'm sure Taco really appreciated that as well! She also took great photos and walked him for longer than I expected. I wouldn't hesitate to have her walk or watch Taco in the future. Highly recommended!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
