About: I am a complete dog lover and have taken care of dogs for family and friends ever since I was a kid. A few years ago when I began working remotely and had more time to dedicate, I got a dog of my own. Sawyer is a 45lb Portuguese Pointer. He is 6 years old but still a puppy at heart. Sawyer loves to play with other dogs, cuddle and go to the beach. I work from home and have lots of time in between meetings where I can be available to play with the pups and/or take them on walks! I can be flexible based on each dogs needs but it is standard that I walk Sawyer in the morning when we wake up, around lunch time, at the end of the work day, and before bed. I have a camera roll filled with doggy photos so you can be sure to expect daily updates and pictures while your pup is in my care 😊 Sawyer loves other dogs and would be thrilled to have a friend to play with or cuddle. I have a fenced in courtyard where I can work and let the dogs lay outside. For walks we usually go around town on the sidewalks or down to the park/beach that is nearby our home. About: I received my MS degree in Human Canine Life Sciences last year. I have studied everything from genetics, domestication, breeding and legal regulations for canines, to the untapped potential of their abilities, the complexities of their emotional lives and the world of assisted therapy and facility dogs. I also recently completed a two-week workshop on training service animals. I have fostered and volunteered for 18 years and ran a dog walking business during college. I am a wealth of information about animals and a well of pure love that will never run dry. I can assess if there are health issues and make recommendations if you want to have that conversation. I also crock"pet" whole food dog food and can advise you on nutrition too, if that's of interest. I am highly sensitive to animals and their needs and moods and comfortability. I have two highly reactive large breeds and can handle dogs on leash in any situation (and won't put myself in one that I can not). I really want to be an advocate for all animals and be a positive part of your lives, whether it's a one time walk or everyday. I'm also here to talk about your pets with you and I will send from zero to a zillion photos and messages- whatever makes you feel good. I can promise you my full attention and so much crazy love for your mates. I am a writer and I also produce and act in the theatre. Most of the time, unless I am in rehearsal, I work from home with a highly flexible schedule. If I'm not home, I'm probably sneaking across the street (when my dawgos aren't looking) stealing snugs and offering the occasional greenie to the dogs on my block. They're sooooo nice, they kill me. I'm hugely attentive and I enjoy it all: a rambunctious playful dude, a senior who just wants belly rubs and snoogs, and the process of gaining the trust of a dog who may need some time and space at first. All of it. I pay attention. I'm with your pets to provide care, love and my presence, not just clock in and out. I feel a responsibility to the well-being of animals (and am honored to have that responsibility) because I have so much education and experience. The time I spend is quality and mindful and I'm truly grateful for it.

About: I was born and raised in Santa Barbara, have my Associate’s degree from SBCC, and been pet sitting formally for the last decade. I do not party or partake in drugs or alcohol. On dog walks, I am courteous of your dog’s need to sniff, poo, and pee. Walks are a chance for your dog to take a break from the house and I honor their needs while walking.

About: I was a nanny over the last several years and always easily got acquainted with whichever household pets came with my jobs. I am confident with animals and easily make a connection. I am gentle and kind and I’ve never had had a problem with any animals, I have run into or cared for. I currently just moved back to Santa Barbara and do a little pet sitting already. But I’m looking to expand my platform. I have an open schedule and want to have a Part-time job that I enjoy doing. I am happy to provide, whichever services are needed per sitting. About: Hello! We are a family of 4 (our girl is 10 and our boy is 14) that loves dogs!! We also have allergies so only hypoallergenic dogs please if you are booking for boarding or day care. We have one dog, and Aussie doodle, that is very social and loves having friends over! :) Dogs must be good with children, other dogs and have good manners. :) We have a nice big fenced yard for lots of outdoor play, a great neighborhood for walks, and we are also very close to the beach and mountains if you have an active dog that likes to get out and about. We can’t wait to love your sweet dog as our own and shower it with love and attention! We have flexible working-from-home schedules. Our kids are in a school schedule with extra time in mornings, evenings and weekends. We would love to welcome your dog as our own! We have a fenced yard. As long as the dog is hypoallergenic, we can have the dog in our home. We love snuggling and playing!

About: Dogs have been part of my family my whole life. I grew up with terriers, and often cared for my friends Great Danes and labs. Extra Large breeds have always held a special place in my heart. 5 years ago I brought home my first Great Dane puppy, Moku. At around 2 years old Moku developed Epilepsy. His seizures were always grand mal, and went through different phases of frequency and severity over the past couple of years. I spent the past 2 years doing everything I possibly could to help keep his seizures under control and make sure he was generally healthy and living a high quality life. After more unexplained health complications, countless blood tests, ultra sounds, CT scans, etc- we realized that Moku had a rare and incurable Neuromuscular condition. He passed away in April 2023, just days after his diagnosis. All that to say- I am now very comfortable with caring for special needs dogs of all sizes, emergency situations, administering medications on a strict schedule, and loving our furry family members through the hardships. I have experience in puppy training and senior dog care as well :) My current work schedule is as follows- so please be aware if the timing conflicts with your pets needs as I will be away from your pet during these times. Monday 8:30-3:00 Thursday 10:30-5:00 Saturday 8:30-3:00 Sunday 10:00-5:30 This depends on the client and what services they are requesting. We can discuss how you take care of your pet at home and what you hope for me to do. Regardless, your pet will be well loved and supervised.

About: I've had dogs my whole life. Growing up we had a mix, then a German Shepherd. As an adult, we had an Australian Shepherd for 16 years. He grew up with our children and is sorely missed. I have experience caring for and administering medications. I love playing and walking dogs, I especially like hikes and walks on the beach. I work part time so my hours and days are flexible. My availability allows should allow plenty of time to take special care of your pet. I have a fenced yard and baby gates in my kitchen, so if home care is needed it is possible that I may care for your pet in my home.

About: I've had large dogs since I was a kid. Grew up with them and watched family and friends' dogs in later years. I've had a reptile as well! I have experience in giving medicine, special diets and reactive dogs. I'm currently going back to school online so I'm looking for some part time work. I currently have 4 cats and I'm often playing with them when I'm not working on school. Since it's all online, I don't run into many scheduling conflicts so I'm always making sure the pets are taken care of. When I was growing up, I would take our two large dogs for walks or monitor them outside in the backyard. I've watched family dogs in their homes and senior dogs to keep them more comfortable.My cats enjoy various climbing areas in my home and are regularly fed on schedule.

My live-in partner is a work from home professional and certified dog trainer and I'm the Hospital Manager of a local veterinary hospital. Long walks and playtime with our cattle dog and chihuahua wear out most dogs in no time. About: Hello There! My little family and myself are pet lovers! 🥰 We have two dogs, two cats and a bearded dragon. Our home has always been a bit of a revolving door for furry friends. I have been dog walking and pet sitting locally for the past 17yrs and have plenty of references. I am out and about most mornings doing dog walks, typically 9/930-12ish and available again most afternoon or evenings depending on what you need. I work for an afterschool program during the school year so my schedule tends to open up a bit more during the summer. We have a high, fully fenced in back yard w plenty of shade. I tend to take boarded pups w me on my walks if the temperament works. We live in a very quiet little corner in Carpinteria surrounded by parks and bike trails.
