About: Hello, I'm Clara! I'm a college senior home for the summer, looking to help out fellow pet owners. I've taken care of a myriad of pets, all with different personalities and temperaments, throughout my entire life (dogs, cats, chickens, horses, etc) I love working with animals, big or small, and will ensure the safety and happiness of your pets! I have complete availability, so I have plenty of time to play with your pups and give them my full and undivided attention! In addition to walking your dogs around the neighborhood or playing in the yard, I can drive to many nearby walking routes. I live at home where we have a large, fully fenced yard with plenty of both shade and sun. We have 2 friendly dogs and 2 rarely seen cats. The neighborhood is very walkable, and the beach is closeby!

About: I have owned two large dogs before a German Shepard, and a lab Shepard mix . I also understand that some dogs are energetic and need more exercise so I am patient with those doggos too! I am also attentive to their health and body language and I will communicate with you whether I notice anything concerning. I work full time from 8-5pm Mon-Friday. I am available early mornings before 7am or after 5pm on the weekdays and any time on the weekends. I cannot board dogs or cats however I am more than happy to watch them in their home! I will also be attentive to specific care instructions for your pets.

About: I've taken care of family and friend family pets growing up. My mom set up daycare for children and families would bring their pets often. (Watching my mommies growing up was my first experience and I now enjoying caring for others on my own leisure time) On my personal time, I've taken care of colleagues and friends family pets. My chihuahua will come with me on home visits otherwise I will require 1 hour break to go home to feed/walk my furbaby. I live by Bacara, I have the backyard that leads to Ellwood preserve. I do not use dog food to feed due to the high sodium, I cook meals using protein, veggies and Japanese potato. I'm happy to walk/care for family pets starting at 6am and latest walk at 6pm unless you are requesting overnight. Bed time is by 9pm or earlier. I have trim pets hair and given baths, this is complimentary for overnight stays even for 1 day. I have the materials and only cut hair by hand. I will keep majority of the hair 🙂 so you will not return surprised, your furbaby will look rejuvenated and polished 💖 I treat all furbaby as my own and cook extra portion for yours. I will walk the dogs together, 3 max at a time including my chihuahua. My chihuahua is allowed everywhere in my home so your furbaby is allowed to go anywhere except for kitchen when I'm cooking. Walks happen every 4 hours unless we are sleeping. I do not crate any furbaby so will not take you if this is something you request, I believe family pets should be included so will be in couch or bed. If they are in the floor every room has a fluffy bed. I do not have cat climbing build, only fuzzy beds! 🐾

About: I’ve had animals in my life since I was born. I’ve had bunnies and cats and fish and dogs and birds. I’ve learned great ways to meet each of these animals with gentle and respectful care. I primarily work Monday-Wednesday 11am-8pm. I’m much more available in the evenings and weekends to take care of beloved pets. Pet walks would be most accessible on Thursdays-Sundays. I do not offer pet care in my home, I don’t have pets because I live in a very tiny apartment and know that’s not conducive for their wellbeing. In my client’s home, I show the utmost respect and care for their items, animal care needs and I triple check that I leave everything clean and locked.

About: I am a complete dog lover and have taken care of dogs for family and friends ever since I was a kid. A few years ago when I began working remotely and had more time to dedicate, I got a dog of my own. Sawyer is a 45lb Portuguese Pointer. He is 6 years old but still a puppy at heart. Sawyer loves to play with other dogs, cuddle and go to the beach. I work from home and have lots of time in between meetings where I can be available to play with the pups and/or take them on walks! I can be flexible based on each dogs needs but it is standard that I walk Sawyer in the morning when we wake up, around lunch time, at the end of the work day, and before bed. I have a camera roll filled with doggy photos so you can be sure to expect daily updates and pictures while your pup is in my care 😊 Sawyer loves other dogs and would be thrilled to have a friend to play with or cuddle. I have a fenced in courtyard where I can work and let the dogs lay outside. For walks we usually go around town on the sidewalks or down to the park/beach that is nearby our home. About: Since my early childhood, I've nurtured a profound fascination with animals, which began when I used to visit my papa's ranch and assist him in caring for dogs, horses, lambs, and various other animals. This passion persisted as I ventured into horseback riding and my family welcomed our first golden retriever. Presently, my devotion to dogs has reached new heights as I have a Golden Retriever of my own, not just a family pet. She has become my dearest companion, best friend, and daughter. I first met her as a puppy and after a few times playing with her, knew she was mine. Along the way, I've happily taken on the role of pet-sitter for numerous friends' dogs and cats. About: I've had dogs my whole life. Growing up we had a mix, then a German Shepherd. As an adult, we had an Australian Shepherd for 16 years. He grew up with our children and is sorely missed. I have experience caring for and administering medications. I love playing and walking dogs, I especially like hikes and walks on the beach. I work part time so my hours and days are flexible. My availability allows should allow plenty of time to take special care of your pet. I have a fenced yard and baby gates in my kitchen, so if home care is needed it is possible that I may care for your pet in my home.

About: I received my MS degree in Human Canine Life Sciences last year. I have studied everything from genetics, domestication, breeding and legal regulations for canines, to the untapped potential of their abilities, the complexities of their emotional lives and the world of assisted therapy and facility dogs. I also recently completed a two-week workshop on training service animals. I have fostered and volunteered for 18 years and ran a dog walking business during college. I am a wealth of information about animals and a well of pure love that will never run dry. I can assess if there are health issues and make recommendations if you want to have that conversation. I also crock"pet" whole food dog food and can advise you on nutrition too, if that's of interest. I am highly sensitive to animals and their needs and moods and comfortability. I have two highly reactive large breeds and can handle dogs on leash in any situation (and won't put myself in one that I can not). I really want to be an advocate for all animals and be a positive part of your lives, whether it's a one time walk or everyday. I'm also here to talk about your pets with you and I will send from zero to a zillion photos and messages- whatever makes you feel good. I can promise you my full attention and so much crazy love for your mates. I am a writer and I also produce and act in the theatre. Most of the time, unless I am in rehearsal, I work from home with a highly flexible schedule. If I'm not home, I'm probably sneaking across the street (when my dawgos aren't looking) stealing snugs and offering the occasional greenie to the dogs on my block. They're sooooo nice, they kill me. I'm hugely attentive and I enjoy it all: a rambunctious playful dude, a senior who just wants belly rubs and snoogs, and the process of gaining the trust of a dog who may need some time and space at first. All of it. I pay attention. I'm with your pets to provide care, love and my presence, not just clock in and out. I feel a responsibility to the well-being of animals (and am honored to have that responsibility) because I have so much education and experience. The time I spend is quality and mindful and I'm truly grateful for it.

About: ** My next available dates for Board & Train are January 6-11 & 18-24th within 15 mins of central Austin. I have a BA in Photography from the University of Texas at Austin, so I can take really great pictures of your pets, but most importantly, I am a high functioning, detail oriented empath with over 6 years of full-time canine training experience. My specialty is with sporting dogs and fear/hyperactive cases of all kinds, but I also have some training experience with cats and horses. I am based in Austin, Texas and will be doing training as I travel the US seasonally. I am a full time dog trainer and have been for the past 6 years. Your pet and home will have my full attention during the contracted stay. At this time, I only offer boarding services at the home of the client. This is because dogs learn visually and situationally, so it's important for the training work to be done in the animal's home in order to get the most bang for your buck.

About: Dogs have been part of my family my whole life. I grew up with terriers, and often cared for my friends Great Danes and labs. Extra Large breeds have always held a special place in my heart. 5 years ago I brought home my first Great Dane puppy, Moku. At around 2 years old Moku developed Epilepsy. His seizures were always grand mal, and went through different phases of frequency and severity over the past couple of years. I spent the past 2 years doing everything I possibly could to help keep his seizures under control and make sure he was generally healthy and living a high quality life. After more unexplained health complications, countless blood tests, ultra sounds, CT scans, etc- we realized that Moku had a rare and incurable Neuromuscular condition. He passed away in April 2023, just days after his diagnosis. All that to say- I am now very comfortable with caring for special needs dogs of all sizes, emergency situations, administering medications on a strict schedule, and loving our furry family members through the hardships. I have experience in puppy training and senior dog care as well :) My current work schedule is as follows- so please be aware if the timing conflicts with your pets needs as I will be away from your pet during these times. Monday 8:30-3:00 Thursday 10:30-5:00 Saturday 8:30-3:00 Sunday 10:00-5:30 This depends on the client and what services they are requesting. We can discuss how you take care of your pet at home and what you hope for me to do. Regardless, your pet will be well loved and supervised.
