About: I have had a Yorkie my whole life and he is now 16 and has many health issues and has gone from fun and playful to slowly moving, providing the best diet and movement is necessary to allow pets of all ages to live their best lives. I have also taken care of all of my family pets from horses to dogs to cats. I have done many side jobs dealing with small chihuahuas to big boxers with big personalities. I ultimately love animals and want to be around them. I currently work full time but only work 5 hours max a day. I like to workout but can incorporate daily walks into this. I have wednesdays and Thursdays off every week. I can easily crate the dog if needed and have the beautiful las Palmas in my backyard for walks, I also have room for toys and for them to roam.

About: Need someone to care for your fur baby? I’m your person! Certified in giving love, belly rubs, and compliments like “who’s the best dog ever?” (spoiler alert, it’s yours). I’ve spent over eight years working hands-on with animals, from volunteering at humane societies and rescues to caring for pets in boarding, daycare, and grooming. I may be a retired groomer, but my soft spot for clean paws and wagging tails is forever. Whether your pup is shy, sassy, or a total goofball, I’ll make sure they feel safe, loved, and completely adored. Animals have always been my world, and I truly believe nothing beats that tail-wagging, pure-love greeting when you walk through the door. I’ll treat your pets like family, the kind of family that gets spoiled and praised all day long. Pet care fits into my day the same way coffee does… it’s a must! I love starting and ending my days with wagging tails, happy paws, and a few goofy zoomies. My schedule’s flexible, so I plan everything around walks, meals, cuddles, and playtime. Basically, if your pet’s happy, my day’s already a win. Keeping your pets happy and safe is my full-time mission. I follow all your instructions like a pro, from meals to walks to any special care your furry friends need. I bring plenty of cuddles, belly rubs, and unsolicited affirmations so your pets feel loved, spoiled, and totally in charge while you’re away. Basically, I make sure they have the best day ever, every day.

About: "I bring a professional, detail-oriented approach to pet care, backed by a commitment to reliability and safety. I don't just 'watch' your pet—I curate their day. Whether it's a high-energy park adventure or a consistent, disciplined walking routine, I prioritize your pet's specific temperament and needs. I treat every booking as a professional contract: you can count on punctuality, clear communication, and photo updates that give you complete peace of mind. Your pet’s comfort and safety are my top priorities, and I approach every interaction with the professionalism you expect from a dedicated care expert." Because pet care isn't one-size-fits-all, I maintain a highly flexible schedule to accommodate your routine. Whether you need early morning check-ins, midday feeding and play segments, or dedicated evening companionship, I structure my days around making sure your pets stay on their preferred timelines. I am available for both weekday and weekend bookings, ensuring consistent, reliable care so your fur babies never miss a beat while you're away. I prioritize a secure and attentive environment for every dog I care for. While I don't have a yard at my home, I am an extremely active person and live near several wonderful local dog parks and scenic trails. I love taking my visitors on frequent outdoor adventures and long walks to ensure they get plenty of exercise and fresh air. My home is a clean, organized, and stress-free space where your pet will be treated like family and given my full, undivided attention.

About: I love all critters, large and small. I have two large dogs which I have both trained. They are incredibly well behaved, but I know how to give them space to be rambunctious and playful. It’s so important for pets to have a safe space to be themselves and show their beautiful, unique personalities. I know how to work with senior and leash-aggressive dogs. Kitties are wonderful with minds of their own. I give them attention when they want it, but distance if not. They are cats after all! I can take care of fish too, as I have a tank of them in addition to my dogs. My schedule is extremely flexible! I walk my dogs in the morning, but I can adjust my walk time as needed. For overnights, my husband will take care of our fur babies. I start off with an introduction to you and your pet. Treats are a great way to start off on the right paw! I ensure your pet feels safe and gets to know me. I am caring and loving, and I also know how to give space to your furry one when they need it.

Daniel was amazing with our two pitbulls! Over the course of the week, he really bonded with them, and it was clear how much they loved him. He went above and beyond to make sure they were well cared for and happy. We always felt confident they were in great hands. We’re so grateful for his help and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him. Will definitely be booking with him again!

I will make sure your pets are happy and cared for regardless of breed, size or age. You will have peace of mind knowing I am caring for your beloved pets while you are away. I have pets that have to be cared for in a specific manner, so I understand the importance of following instructions to be sure your pets are safe. I do not work outside the home. My time is not limited or scheduled. My girls are home schooled so we have no other commitments than to be sure your pets are cared for. About: I’ve had dogs all my life. I learned responsibility by having dogs all my life. The attachment and care I have for animals is tremendous. My heart is full because of them and it breaks when they’re hurting or sad. I take a lot of pride in the way I care for my own animals. I always put their needs first. I even took a remote job so I can spend more time with them. When my dog got sick I was constantly monitoring, medication handling, and I never put her health to the side. I act quickly. I also am very careful with who the dogs I take care of come in contact with. I can read dogs body language and will not force them to be in a situation they don’t like. Some dogs are friendly and some like their space. It is important for me to create space. It doesn’t matter if a dog is small and won’t hurt a fly, they can agitate a dog that can hurt them. I have even saved a yorkie from being attacked by a dog. This wasn’t under my care but I knew what to do and stepped in. I currently work remote. This means I can take out the pups for play and for a walk. I live right down the street from a park. And prioritize taking the pups out 2-3 times a day. Making sure they’re out for more than an hour. I have a small back yard and 3 friendly dogs. One old Shih Tzu, a heeler, and a yorkie. They love to play but love to protect their home so they will always be loud when someone is at the door.. I always treat the pups the same. I know how worried I am leaving my heeler behind so I know to take good care of new pups because I know they’re missing their parents too! As for someone else’s home. I do the same! Obviously respect the home but work in a schedule to accommodate what I need to get done but also create play, walk, or enrichment play.

Mike was on time and courteous, and most importantly, developed an instant rapport with my skittish shepherd. He was great at handling her when she tried to bark at a little dog, and got her under control without being harsh. I feel good about him walking her alone.

About: Animals are my passion. I cared for my beloved Parson Russell Terrier, Milo, from 2000 to 2015, and he’s the reason I fell in love with caring for all animals. That love led me to volunteer at the Berkeley Humane Society as a cat companion in 2014, and later at the Santa Cruz SPCA as a dog walker from 2024 to 2025. I’ve also transported rescued animals—most memorably a German Shepherd from NYC to his forever home in Florida—and have cared for friends’ and family’s pets for many years. While I don’t currently have pets of my own, I’m fully committed to providing exceptional, reliable, and compassionate care for yours. Whether it’s a walk, drop-in visit, or overnight stay, your pet will be treated like family. I follow your pet’s established routine—feeding, walking, medication, and comfort—and during extended stays, I’m happy to water plants, collect mail, and keep your home tidy. My mission is simple: to care for your pets with genuine love, respect, and dependability. I work part-time with a flexible schedule, which allows me to be available throughout the week for you and your pet. My background in customer service has taught me the importance of reliability, communication, and attention to detail—qualities I bring to every pet care visit. I provide reliable, compassionate care that keeps your pet comfortable and secure in their own home. I follow their regular routine, prioritize safety, and care for them with the same attention and love I would give my own pets.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
