About: Hi, I'm Emily! I will care for your dog just as I care for my own, with lots of care and love! I love getting to know your dog and creating the most comfortable and enjoyable experience possible for them. By the time a dog heads back home, I often feel like I’ve developed a bond with them, and this experience is a big part of why I do it. I have a playful, young cattle dog. I also had a sweet senior chow/shepherd mix. My cattle dog gets along well with seniors, since he was raised with one, just as much as he loves to play with high-energy friends. Currently I work a flexible schedule that allows me flexibility for dog walking/drop ins. Usually I can create time in my schedule based on your dog's needs. As a trusted sitter, I am careful to follow any instructions you have for your dogs needs and the care of your home as well.

About: I am trained in behavioral therapy (mental health professional) and petsit frequently. I am very familiar with animals that struggle with anxiety, special needs, and are elderly. Absolutely adore the young pups and kittens too! Your pet will get plenty of exercise and be well cared for when you are away. I work from home doing Telehealth and am able to take breaks as needed throughout the day to provide pet care for you and yours! I have two pets at home currently, a cat and a dog. A lifelong animal lover, I have been told that I have good rapport with all types and species. I can offer walks and visits at your home or office. Safety is the main priority with all animals in my care. I’m able to be away from my own pets for up to 4.5-5 hours at a time. My dog will need to be let out to use the restroom at my place in that time frame.

About: About 3 years ago, I moved to California specifically to live with a close friend who had just become a flight attendant to help take care of her two dogs and two cats while she was away for work. Since she traveled often, I became a big part of their everyday care… feeding, walks, potty breaks, playtime, keeping them company, and of course giving them lots of love. I even took them to a little trip with me to Joshua tree, which they enjoyed very much! One of her cats also had asthma, so I learned to be extra attentive to her needs and helped with taking her to vet appointments when needed. I’ve also helped other friends with house sitting, dog walking, and caring for their pets while they were away or out of town. I genuinely love animals and know how important it is to have someone you trust taking care of your fur babies. I’ll always make sure they feel comfortable, safe, and get plenty of love and attention while you’re away 🤍🐾 I may be new to Rover, but caring for pets has been a big part of my life for the last few years, and I’d love to care for yours too! I do work full-time in the hotel industry as a front desk supervisor, and do 8-hour shifts. My schedule varies throughout the week, but I’m available before and after work, on my days off, and for drop-ins or walks. For house sitting, I’m happy to stay overnight and care for your fur baby before and after my shift. I’ll always be upfront about my schedule so we can make sure it’s the right fit for your pet! I know every fur baby has their own personality and routine, so I like to learn what makes them feel most comfortable before you leave. Whether that means a specific feeding schedule, their favorite walking route, extra playtime, or just having someone nearby to keep them company, I’m happy to follow their normal routine. I’m also very respectful of your home and will always make sure doors are locked, instructions are followed, and everything is left just as I found it. About: I’ve had experience working at a dog daycare which came with lots of responsibilities including dog watching, bathing, cleaning, and feeding- including administering medications. I currently work at an animal shelter where I handle dogs and cats of all ages, sizes, weight, and breeds. Using balanced training methods, I can also offer light training (puppy teething/mouthing, basic cues, some leash manners, resource guarding, engage/disengage with reactive pups, social bridging with shy ones). I’ve also worked with deaf, blind, and tripod doggos! I currently work a full time job 4 days a week with Sunday/ Monday/ Tuesdays off. Not available the rest of the week since I work long hours.
