Not only have I had pets my whole life and worked for numerous families and friends caring for their pets, but I have professional experience caring for all types of animals. I am more than happy to take energetic pooches to off-leash parks if the owner and I both feel comfortable with the dog's recall and safety. Between outings, your dog will have the house and yard available as well as lots of attention from our family which includes myself, my husband, our 2 young kids, and our playful 30 lb dog, Sombra. There is plenty of room to run around! We have a backyard that is fully fenced as well as an open space of the living room with a box full of dog toys that always ends up being the puppy play area :) I guarantee your dog will love their time staying in a house with a yard and the beach and park close by. I will treat your pup like my own with lots of love and follow any specific guidelines you have for your pet regarding diet, leashes, exercise needs, training, preferred sleeping arrangements, allowed on furniture, etc. I will also send updates and photos during your dog’s stay. It’s so important for pets to have a safe space to be themselves and show their beautiful, unique personalities. I know how to work with senior and leash-aggressive dogs. Kitties are wonderful with minds of their own. I give them attention when they want it, but distance if not. They are cats after all! I can take care of fish too, as I have a tank of them in addition to my dogs. My schedule is extremely flexible! I walk my dogs in the morning, but I can adjust my walk time as needed. About: I worked for a family friend in their home pet sitting business. I fed, administered meds, walked, played and loved on lots of different breeds of dogs. I’m currently a stay at home mom. I have a pretty wide open schedule at the moment. Way back when I was younger, I used to walk neighborhood dogs, which really taught me how to read different personalities and handle all kinds of energy levels. I know how much your dogs mean to you, and I’ll treat them with that exact same love, patience, and attention every single time Weekdays are wide open for me after 4:30 PM, and I'm fully available on weekends. Whether your pup needs a solid long walk to burn off some energy or just some reliable company, I'll fit right into their routine. Having had three dogs of my own for the past ten years, safety and patience come naturally to me. I'm completely used to reading dog body language, keeping them secure, and making sure they feel comfortable and safe every step of the way.
About: I’ve taken care of medium-large dogs for the last 5 years. I’ve trained a puppy and feel very comfortable caring for them and know how important it is to get them out for their walks. I have 4 days off a week (varying days) that I’m very willing to spend time walking and visiting dogs. I enjoy runs myself so if the dogs are up for it we could go or just sit on the couch and relax. I can’t care for pets in my home as I only live in a studio, but I have lived in a house with a fenced in yard where dogs would go out. I have lived in an apartment with a puppy and got very used to going out frequently and running around at the dog parks

About: About 3 years ago, I moved to California specifically to live with a close friend who had just become a flight attendant to help take care of her two dogs and two cats while she was away for work. Since she traveled often, I became a big part of their everyday care… feeding, walks, potty breaks, playtime, keeping them company, and of course giving them lots of love. I even took them to a little trip with me to Joshua tree, which they enjoyed very much! One of her cats also had asthma, so I learned to be extra attentive to her needs and helped with taking her to vet appointments when needed. I’ve also helped other friends with house sitting, dog walking, and caring for their pets while they were away or out of town. I genuinely love animals and know how important it is to have someone you trust taking care of your fur babies. I’ll always make sure they feel comfortable, safe, and get plenty of love and attention while you’re away 🤍🐾 I may be new to Rover, but caring for pets has been a big part of my life for the last few years, and I’d love to care for yours too! I do work full-time in the hotel industry as a front desk supervisor, and do 8-hour shifts. My schedule varies throughout the week, but I’m available before and after work, on my days off, and for drop-ins or walks. For house sitting, I’m happy to stay overnight and care for your fur baby before and after my shift. I’ll always be upfront about my schedule so we can make sure it’s the right fit for your pet! I know every fur baby has their own personality and routine, so I like to learn what makes them feel most comfortable before you leave. Whether that means a specific feeding schedule, their favorite walking route, extra playtime, or just having someone nearby to keep them company, I’m happy to follow their normal routine. I’m also very respectful of your home and will always make sure doors are locked, instructions are followed, and everything is left just as I found it. I’m happy to send pictures and little updates too, so you can enjoy your time away knowing your fur baby is doing well!
About: I've been a pet guardian all of my (long-ish) life and I understand how important it is to trust someone with your furry family member. I’m reliable, communicative, and detail-oriented — I’ll keep you updated with photos and messages so you always know how your pet is doing. I'm currently not working full time, so I have time to help you look after your animals. My dogs (springer spaniels) lived very long and happy lives, and now I have a solo cat at home. I am available to visit your animals in your home, take them for walks, clean up after them and play with them. I can't have overnights at the moment due to my own pet.
